we came here not to buy anything but ended up walking out which a puppy. staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and even tho we were able to get the puppy we wanted, we were able to get the furry friend pur family needed.. Peanut Butter has been a great addition to our family.. love to play with our girls (9 & 3) and currently being pregnant w twins.. I can wait for them to grow with him.. not to mention he has the prettiest green eyes

literally everyone there is really nice and informative. didn't really plan on adopting a pet when we went in but we could not pass up on the cutest puppy in the place. I was 8 month pregnant w twins and Peanut Butter was the last editions to our family

We have had our French Bulldog puppy for almost a year now. He is the sweetest boy and we have had no health problems whatsoever. I would definitely buy a puppy here again.

AWFUL!!!! i bought a bunny here and it died 5 days later, then they gave me a replacement and then it died 2 days later!!! and they would not refund me and acted like it was my fault the bunny died!!! awful!!! they said that they can’t prove that i had the pellets and hay for the bunny as well as other stuff for the bunny because i didn’t buy it from petland. they are acting like petland is the only place that sells bunny stuff. i really do believe these bunnies they sell are sick. ***beware*** one of the staff members totally embarrassed me acting like i’m a animal abuser which is totally ridiculous.

My daughter and I came in yesterday to look at dogs. The staff member who worked with us was extremely aggressive and rude in trying to sell us a dog. I literally told her I could not get the dog and she said " I hear that you can't get the dog but your not telling me why?" I will never come back to this store. Unbelievable!!

I'd give negative stars if I could to review. I walked in for dog supplies and to my horror saw tons of designer puppies for sale. When I asked the employees where they get their pets they told me with attitude that they buy from breeders but could not tell me they aren't puppy mills. "Reputable breeder" is an oxymoron. In this day and age when shelters are at an all time high? I'm thoroughly disgusted.

Look for Sam she is the best. Customer service amazing, very knowledgeable about all the Yorkie products I was searching for. Sam needs a raise ASAP. Sam made my experience easy and simple. I will be going back.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. All the animals and puppies look healthy and well taken care of. When I was looking at puppies, I was asked if I had a reservation, I didn’t but I still got to meet some puppies! I’ve even been shown videos of the puppies breeders, so I know they come from good places!

Terrible. Went about two months ago, wanting to get a puppy. Was denied through a loan company. No problem. I then went back and asked an employee if I could use the 1000+ I was granted to get a cockatiel. She said YES. Then a male employee told us we could get 15% off every item since they didn’t have bird starter kits in stock. Me and my boyfriend went around the store for about an hour picking stuff for our bird, bonding with the bird all while it was sitting on my boyfriends shoulder. JUST TO get to the register and be told we cannot buy the bird and we have to leave with nothing. It was ridiculous & I wish we were told before bonding with the sweet birdie. Also, small animals being tortured all day by children and adults alike is not a good look. Poor parakeets flying everywhere hitting walls just for people’s enjoyment. Ridiculous.

We found three puppies online that we were interested in purchasing. When we arrived, we waited like 10 minutes before we even saw an employee. We then asked if we could see the first dog we were interested in and there was no problem. When we went to ask to see another dog, we were told we were limited to one dog per playtime & the employee just walked away without saying anything else. Keep in mind there was a group of 6-8 10 year old girls who played with 3 or 4 dogs during our 15 minute visit. Very rude & Im not sure how you’re supposed to pick one of your $1000+ dogs if you don’t even get the option to socialize. Definitely will go elsewhere.

God forbid you go in the store not knowing exactly what kind of puppy you'd like to buy. They will only let see you one dog or 2 from the same kennel. If you take one out, but want to see another after, you're told no. The ferrets come from a mill that has severe health issues. I took my daughter here to look at puppies and since we don't know exactly what type of dog we want, it's important to learn about all of them. Learning about them means playing with one, asking questions about the breed etc. You can't do that here! They look at you playing with the puppies as a bad thing even though it gets these poor dogs out of their boxes for a little bit and socializes them. All the employees huddle in one corner and good luck getting their attention. After much research, I've decided to not support puppy mills and rescue. The only way to stop the brutal puppy mill business is to stop buying puppies from these stores. It's sad bc it's not the dogs fault and they deserve a great home as well.

Puppy mill puppies.Was sold a pup that was deathly ill. Took thousands to get him back to good health. They would only pay for his first vet visit then the rest fell on our shoulders. He still has issues and his gut is destroyed. Do not feed your dogs any of their store brand food. It's awful and has been linked to bacterial infections.Do not, ever, buy a puppy from here. Go to the shelter for a healthy and vaccinated dog.

They had exactly what we were looking for, and I found a "relaxation" chew for dogs.The young lady who rung us up was very pleasant and the store was open and clean. They asked if we could bring my clients dog in for a visit sometime, which would be great if she enjoyed car rides! We shall have to try that relaxation chew soon!

Puppy mill pups!Not surprised there are reviews of people bringing a pet home and them becoming deathly ill.First time going in there, puppy’s were coughing, sneezing, and snot coming out their noses.Very disgraceful, especially when their selling puppies for thousands and these puppies are being sold sick.If you want to bring home a pet with a respiratory infection, this is the place to go!

Very clean and nice looking place. Staff was very friendly and inquisitive about our pets. Very nice looking puppy pens and play areas. Good selection of dog and cat toys/treats. Nice selection of hamsters, birds, guinea pigs and very happy looking puppies.

I got a puppy from here and she has Giardia. I have already tried 2 treatments and about to try a third to get rid of it. I’m missing out on her puppy stage because she has to be quarantined from the other animals. It’s all very depressing and makes me mad. I’d bet my life most of the dogs there have Giardia.

Came about 3 weeks ago in search of a new birdy forever friend to add to our family. After going to a few other pet lands and petsmarts, we were very pleased by the customer service and laid back atmosphere. Alexander helped us with EVERYTHING we needed to know about cockatiels and we took one home after visiting once- sleeping on the idea- and coming back the next day to pick up our Tiki. Tiki is our cockatiel we got and couldn't be more pleased with! He is SO friendly.. loves to be handled and loves his family so far. THANK YOU petland!

Stopped by to visit the new pet store at Austin Landing. Had big hopes for this location as the Jack's Pets & Petvalu before it were AMAZING. Store is a little bland and boring & the employees lack concern for customer service.. they seem to just float around with no real purpose. But the store is really clean and the pets seem healthy. Will visit again in the future in hopes this location is just going through growing pains

Animals seem healthy and happy for being in a pet store. I just wish there was a selection for reptile and fish products.
