They work really hard to do what is best for the rescues they were so kind to take in and care for daily. They are willing to answer your questions or any concerns u have about your own pets and have really good prices on things like flea medicine or combs.. pretty much anything u need along those lines for your pet. I only ran into a misunderstanding issue when I requested worm and flea medicine she only gave me flea medicine.. but it can happen I mean these ladies work hard❤️

Just took one of my cats here to get neutered and it went way better than some other places I’ve taken cats. They were very nice and informative, and my cat seems to be doing really well just 12 hours after surgery, and the pricing is great for what they do. Definitely recommend!

The home is overflowing with over 150+ cats according to one of the ladies there, I was going to adopt a kitten until I realized that almost every cat that came up to me is in serious need of veterinary care. From obvious neurological issues to open wounds, to eye infections and upper respiratory infections. I understand the lady cares about the cats but it’s more of a hoarding situation that a helpful one. These cats need to be properly cared for! I decided against adopting a kitten due to the rude nature of the older lady, and the fact that I had no idea what those little babes were exposed to and didn’t want to bring anything home to my three current healthy boys. Wont recommend for anyone.

She absolutely loves cats. What better place to take my babies. I haven't had the procedure for my babies yet, but I'm sure things will go well.Edit: Everything went amazing. They were very caring even though one of my girls was a bit mean. LOL I highly recommend them!

The people that run this place may be very nice and may take very good care of these cats. I really don't know. But what I do know is that I could smell the stench before I even got to the door. The lady said that they have over 100 rescue cats for people to adopt in that house. The windows were papered over so you couldn't see in the house. I only stepped inside the door. I only went there because they came up on a search as a rescue, and I was in need of a rescue for my dog that I had just rescued that I'm extremely allergic to which, by the way, was already breaking my heart!!! But after my experience, just walking up to and inside the door would have never left her there!! If you're a cat lover, please rescue these poor furry babies!!! I don't like writing bad things, but the smell and conditions that I was able to see were very concerning to me!!!

I don't know how she does it. She takes in all cases of cats. Cases that most places would just give up on them and put them down. If you go through and meet these cats, there are soooo many loving sweet souls. They just needed a second chance. Your heart will break when you hear of their stories. We have been going here for vaccines and spay neuters for our accidental cats (cats who find us). They have always had good treatment. This last time we were there, we met the cats and fell in love with so many. We ended up adopting Foster. A grey striped cat with a healing leg from a dog bite. I am so in love. He is the sweetest thing! He hangs out with the kids for storytime and even my husband (who is way more practical about animals than the rest of us) will cuddle with him. I recommend coming here even if you are not looking for a cat. Give them some love, drop off some supplies, have your kids read to the cats. You won't regret it!

I found a tiny kitten screaming for food in a local parking lot this morning, shivering and all. Not able to have the kitten because my daughter is extremely allergic and the place I rent doesn’t allow pets I called this place. Once she said “it’s your problem” I knew I had called the wrong place. After asking for suggestions on other places to take the kitten and being met with absolute RUDENESS I hung up mid conversation. If you’re going to turn away “healthy strays” that’s fine but as an animal organization you should have the knowledge and care to be able to point people onto other places that may be able to help. Absolute craziness to tell someone with a tiny maybe 6 week old kitten “you caught it so it’s your problem, you can’t dump it onto us” WHAT IN THE WORLD

Against my better judgment, I tried to adopt a kitten from this place. This person is too picky about adopting their cats out. I don’t have any pets and was denied because I don’t go to the vet. WHAT PETS AM I SUPPOSED TO BRING? I don’t have any. I was honestly trying to rescue a cat from them. This is the filthiest, smelliest disgusting place I have ever had the displeasure of going into. The stench was on me when I got back in my car. The cats aren’t contained and are just running around. She is a cat hoarder. 150 cats in that little house sure does sound like a hoarding situation and she has no interest in adopting them out. Those poor cats living in that deplorable conditions. Stay away from this place, she won’t approve you, it appears that she wants to keep them all. I was able to adopt a beautiful kitten elsewhere and he will be vet checked and live his best life. Please don’t go there, I have heard that most of her cats have upper respiratory infections which can be treated with antibiotics, so why wouldn’t she treat them? I haven’t experienced that but it is what I have heard. She should be ashamed of herself to have those poor cats in filth. This negative review is not because she wouldn’t let me adopt a kitten but because of the ignorant way it was done and I think others should know about it before wasting their time

Great place to go if you have questions about caring for your feline. Also their adoptions are very reasonable and you can tell these cats truly love and care for the owner.

Came to S.T.O.P. with an injured stray cat that was staying on my porch. S.T.O.P. took the cat in without asking anything of us. They appear to truly care, great place.

We are indescribably grateful to STOP for everything they do. They not only give amazing care to each and every cat, but Diana and the volunteers provide some genuine love, too. Thank you so, so much for giving our rescue such great care before her adoption. Many of the cats at STOP have had bad things happen, but thanks to Diana and the team, these kitties have bright and loving futures ahead ❤️

No nonsense spaying & neutering. This is all they do, so they do it right and for a great price. In and out. Very satisfied!

I called earlier today hoping to find someone to help me. The owner picks up the phone and I ask if she can take in my grandma’s cat. I told her the situation of how the cat has history of attacking kids and adults. She laughed and said, “what am I supposed to do?” Hmm I don’t know, how about do your damn job and take the cat in? You’d think since they are shelter they would care about these animals and do their freaking job. She was rude. Plain out rude. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Also I called my friend afterwards and she said they are horrible place to go to. She got her cat fixed there and when she went to pick her cat up, they couldn’t find it! Like what??! This place seems unorganized. DONT GO HERE!!

If you have a healthy cat currently that does not frequent a vet because of the fact that, well… it’s healthy and has no reason to visit the vet (per the recommendation of the vet), you will be unable to adopt an animal from this filthy hoarder house. If you make any substantial income and have any compassion for animals, this is definitely not going to be a good fit. They care more about donations and handouts than finding loving homes for the animals, which is truly unfortunate for the dozens of cats forced to live in such a filthy environment. The application asks about income multiple times and hopefully you don’t make anything that says you are able to provide for the animals because they absolutely will deny you.It is a truly unfortunate situation that will absolutely be responded to with another inappropriate comment, but it’s best to inform the public about this sort of establishment so that the people of this community are aware.

She fixed my Dexter and I'm so grateful I could afford her prices. At first I was very skeptical about bringing him back the day if surgery as there had to be at least 60 cats roaming when I did the paperwork and paid but on the day of his surgery it was clean calm and peaceful setting. I picked him uo at the end of the day no complications everything was perfect

We took 3 of the 4 female cats we had to be spayed. We prepaid and was called to take in 3. About 2 months later when I called to inquire about if we were still on the list for the 4th, I was told I paid for 2 males and 2 females. I filled out 1 piece of paperwork and wrote at the top of the paper 4 females. Another lady filled out the other 3 forms. I was argued with about the sexes of the cats and told we paid $200, which is $40 less than we did, then hung up on. I have tried to call back and either no answer or someone picks up the phone and hangs up. I am very thankful for the 3 done, but do not appreciate being treated so poorly. Just refund the other $40 we paid or call me to discuss options since you won't take my call. Thank you. Also, the cats came down with upper respiratory infections after being there and I had to take one, who struggled to breath, to a vet. The vet sold me enough antibiotics for all the cats in the house, which were 8 at the time. In addition to the 3 spayed, there was a nursing mom and pregnant cat in the home at the time. All cats were fine and healthy until we brought the 3 home from S.T.O.P. Not saying who is at fault, but there are sickly cats at the facility walking around the lobby and in cages in the lobby. Looking back, we should have went elsewhere.Edit on 8/10/23: A refund was sent to us in a card. Thank you.

Great place to adopt a cat to give the animals a second chance at life but just wish the prices was a little more cheaper for the senior cats.

STOP is solely dedicated to spay/neuter cats at an affordable price. Diane, the owner is kind and tiredlessly helps injured cats 24/7. I adopted 2 sweet sisters who were the product of an emergency c-section. Diane, her veterinarians and volunteers go above and beyond to provide care and find forever homes for all cats in her care. Thank you STOP for all the good you do here in Mansfield! ❤🙏😺

Save yourself some $$, go here!!We should all give a few dollars extra anytime you go here. What a valuable service S.T.O.P is providing- finally affordable spay/nuetering. Countless animals can be "fixed" to stop the suffering homeless cats and dogs endure.

They can't spade a kitten until 5 pounds. And people have told me that it was only $25. But it's not.

The lady that owns the place is an absolute angel to those cats/kittens. She really invests everything she has into making sure they are well cared for and loved. My son found a cat that had been hit and when I called to see if she could possibly help, she said yes without hesitation. I love going in there and just spending time playing with the animals and getting great advice on how to better care for my own. She has a heart of gold and always puts the needs of the animals first.

They gave me a lot of good information when I ask questions about my cat. She received her yearly vaccinations. They genuinely care. They take care of many!! Good local place to donate if you can.

They were called to help some cats who were loosing their home. They came and only took the kittens cause they are easily adopted and left the 3 adults. Shame on them for picking and choosing based on who would be adopted first. Your not a rescue when you leave cats behind. They were being abandoned meaning left with owners. And you told the person who contacted you that you wouldn't take kittens if they had diarrhea. Picking and choosing ks what happened here.

The woman that runs this place has an amazing ❤. IF ANYONE IS LOOKING TO DONATE, THIS PLACE IS VERY DESERVING!!!She has helped me more times than I can count with stray cats. And prices are VERY fair for things like flea pills, dewormer, etc. She takes in and cares for cats that people have abused and/or abandoned and tries to find them homes after she gets them completely better. And I also know she thoroughly checks out anyone looking to adopt. She will not adopt to just anyone. She makes sure they go to a loving home
