Great little boutique in Macedonia, I often pick up orders or make a quick stop in purchase if out picking up other orders. I recently picked up Halloween-themed items and my indoor kitties are loving their new collars. My dogs are counting the days until we start the Halloween cookie count-down calendar. A must-have for any cookie monster dog.

I took my dog here for a bath and brush. I came back and he had gotten a sanitary groom where the hair around his butt was cut. Not only did I not want his hair cut, they did a chop job and it looked terrible. Further, I noticed later when I went to pet my dog that he would cower like he was scared. I never hit my dog so this was concerning. Upon further inspection, he had 3 spots on his abdomen that were completely scraped raw, meaning no hair and the first layer of skin was gone. Note that he did not have mats when I brought him in for the bath. From this I believe he was mistreated by the individual that groomed him and I’m beyond upset. For someone’s dog to be fearful of a human hand and have open wounds? How could you.I would not recommend this grooming location. Although this likely was due to the groomer, this means other employees may have witnessed this abuse and stood by without intervening.

We take our dog here often. She loves it. The grooming service is timely and they do a wonderful job. There is a wide variety of reptiles, birds, fish and other mammals.

They didn't mind when my dog Molly wanted to leave pee-mail for other dogs. They kindly showed us to the pee-mail deletion supplies.

Horrible experience!!! my wife took our small dog for a standard grooming, once the dog was in the car we noticed he couldn't get his right eye opened. When confronting PetSmart employees, they didn't gave a straight answer of what happened and the employee who performed the grooming never showed face!! Manager got involved and immediately offered to pay vet bill, but then again, they did not provide a straight answer. (Its always better to know what happened know what are the next steps) After examination, our dog has a severe ulcer in the cornea, result of continuous scratching due to a irritant substance that got to the eye. It is obvious it happened while in the grooming. Definitely disappointed and angry as we had to spend the entire day at the vet. PetSmart needs to give better training or be more selective of their employees that handles pets. Would not recommend to anyone.And to the employee that never showed face, shame on you, own your mistakes and face them. Not getting far in life hiding from your problems.

Grooming is $80+ was still pulling tuffs of hair out, they said come back and when I came back the workers were so disrespectful, defensive rude and all because they did a bad job and I had to drive all the way back to the store twice in two days

Macedonia Pet Smart is the Best! Always fully stocked. Super friendly staff that always acknowledge you when you come through the door. Clean & easy to find what you need. I have never gone there yet and not found what I was looking for. Highly recommend this Pet Smart!

I have a Berniedoodle. His hair is long and curly. Initially I wasn't combing him out regularly so it was understandable why their groomers wouldn't bathe him without cutting all of his hair off. He would clearly have knots from lack of brushing. After the 1st time of having to cut his hair off, I started brushing him more, but it still wasn't enough, because again, they refused to groom him without giving him a full cut(understandable). Now I've learned my lesson and have been VERY diligent on brushing him to avoid tangles. All that to say, the last aprox 3 appointments the groomers have turned us around insisting that the only way to service him was to cut his hair. It's like they are looking to find an excuse to not service himbecause don't feel like working to hard. Today we took him in for his appointment, and once again was immediately turned away. The groomer Tanner was very rude. He attempted to find knots/matts and was not able to find one. At that point he openly admitted to not "wanting to comb through his hair" because it would "take too long". I purposely made sure I combed his hair daily since our last appointment to make sure they would not have an excuse to turn him away. At some point we called in the manager Brian, which was pointless because he stated he could not do anything, he can't make them take an appointment. Brian was very nice and attempted to remedy the situation by offering us something from the store, but we didn't want that, we just wanted fair treatment. Both Tanner and the manager also admitted there were notes in the system alluding to only servicing us if we agreed to fully cut our dogs hair or "turn us away"... we've scheduled the more expensive appointments, offered to pay more, scheduled "detangling" services, etc and they still find excuses. I guess its easier and faster to shave it all off. They have no remorse. We've been going to Fluff and Stuff on Mayfield rd, regularly and we LOVE them (give them a try) they are just too far and it will be snowing soon, so we were trying to find something closer to home. However, we will NEVER do business with Petsmart grooming again.

They are instructed to cut your dogs hair low no matter what because they "do not want to comb thru for hours" even when the dogs hair is matt free, the guy literally told us that. This is not ok when you don't mind paying whatever the price is to keep your dogs hair long!P.s Next time your there notice you will not see a long haired large dog leave the groomer, they will cut it off even if you prefer your dog hair long and this is even after offering to pay more for their time.

We just moved to Ohio and have struggled for a groomer for our 2 Chihuahuas. I was hesitant to go to Pet Smart but am so glad I did! They did a fantastic job with our girls. I highly recommend them for grooming services.

First, let me say the staff here is very knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. The problem is not with the staff or the products that they carry. The problem is with the store. They mark things on sale, but they don’t change it in their computer. So you think you’re getting eight dollars off a toy or item and you’re getting nothing off. So if you’re buying one item, you’ll probably notice. But if you’re buying dog food, cat food and many other items, along with your sale items, you may not notice till you get home. This has happened on more than one occasion so I’ve decided to now do a review on it. I feel like the store is doing it purposefully to make money behind the scenes. Those customers that aren’t paying attention and checking are unknowingly paying a lot more than the sale sign indicates. I went back to the store the same day within an hour to show them. Their sale signs showed them much lower than my receipt and I got a $38.00 and change credit that I missed out on the first time. These items that were on sale but the computer didn’t give me the discount. This is beyond frustrating. I feel like Pet Smart is trying to pull the wool over their customers eyes telling us we’re getting a discount and then not giving it to us. Like I say, this has happened on more than one occasion. Thankfully, the store clerk was super friendly and nice. I was patient and she took pictures of all the sale items so she could verify it on the receipt. It took a little bit of time but it was worth it. Check your receipts people.

I was extremely impressed with one of the worker's knowledge and care about fish, rodents, and birds. It's common that one may specialize but she had great knowledge of all those groups. Exotic animals are more likely to be neglected because people and pet stores simplify their care, but this woman was giving great advice to a family buying a bird and gave me great advice for my mouse. I will definitely be coming back and I recommend this store to anyone buying an exotic pet.

I have always had a great experience with the Grooming Salon at this PetSmart location! Today was the first grooming appointment with Devonn and Stephanie grooming my dogs. They did an absolutely FABULOUS job! Both dogs (Malteses) look great, and both seemed relaxed when I picked them up. I highly recommend this PetSmart for grooming!

Been taking my dog to the grooming salon for 17 yrs and never a problem with her ! But now that she’s older they refuse to groom her without any explanation at all. She’s a small breed and is the sweetest little dog. Heartbreaking that this company is very insensitive especially after building a relationship after all of these years. I understand that she’s older now but has never been a problem ever so to get the terrible treatment is inhumane.They need to train there employees on these matters and remind them to leave their personal problems at home!!!!!

Story is nice just crowded with products jutting out. The aisles need to be spaced wider. Literally two people can squeeze into it with a cart obstructing any other person from squeezing past. The staff is kind and helpful, unfortunately the store footprint needs more space to navigate.

The fish ladies were google knowledgeable meaning I could have looked the requested info up online myself. Overall the visit was decent. Nice variety of fish. The cashier was very pleasant.

Friendly staff, even though they were short-staffed that night. The green cheek conure there stole my heart...I was glad that he had fresh food and water along with toys. I get so upset when I see poor conditions in pet stores. Cats for adoption looked healthy; were very playful.

My experience with the grooming staff has always been a pleasure. Marissa is absolutely excellent and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a professional and friendly groomer for their pet. The staff at this location is so kind and helpful overall. All of my visits here have been great!

Was not informed that employees were not allowed to bring merchandise out to a vehicle after 5pm even though the order was placed as curbside delivery. I am unable to walk very well hence I used this service that you offer and still had to get out of the vehicle and go in the store to get my merchandise that I paid for.

Bri is the BEST! She knows everything. From fish, to snakes, hamsters, gerbils, birds SHE KNOWS IT ALL! She has helped me with my Ball Python SOOOO MUCH! I bought it there 8/18/18! If you guys didn't have Bri, I would be worried. Her knowledge is far above and beyond what I, or anyone for this matter, would ever expect from a normal pet store employee. I would expect this from a Vet with 20+ years of experience, or From a Zoo employee who works with animals.Her passion for animals is visible in her eyes, she lights up at the opportunity to talk to you about your pet. If she transfers to another store, I will be following her ! I trust her more than I trust myself with decision's about pet's safety and well being.

I have been here on many occasions with two different love ones one had ACL surgery. They do an amazing job. You can honestly see that they love animals and love their work. I have recommended this hospital to a brother of mine and will continue to do the same. This is easily a 5star 4.3 stars is under rated. I love my dog like a son and trust him with no one. But with them he was always in good hands

The worse place ever not sure if this was a racial thing or what but the attitudes was the worse and soooooo unprofessionally ....Not only did I call twice after setting up my appointment to see if I needed anything and they said no when I got to apt they then said I needed shot records but I had asked if they needed that ahead of time so after I drive a half hour to get my pups haircut and couldn’t . they also had attitudes and was just getting paid to make apts and sit there all day and it’s two of them so they wasn’t to busy . In these times usually companies are trying to keep money not loose it . Now I’m going to another groomer to get her groomed and another pet store for good I hate this store
