He is phenomenal, he went around the whole store to help me gather things I will need for my new puppy! This is what CUSTOMER SERVICE looks like people. We are so thrilled with our groomer Brittany. Our dog had a bad experience with a previous local groomer and came to Brittany with high anxiety. She was so understanding and patient with our little Cavachon. He comes home looking wonderful and so happy. Brittany is professional and adds a personal touch to everything she does! I highly recommend the Petco Macedonia grooming!!

We are new to the joys and challenges of owning a Husky and a Husky mix. The PetCo people in Macedonia were extremely helpful in getting the right grooming comb and brush for our long-haired Husky mix and groomed him today so we could get it right going forward. The brush I had wasn't doing the job. They spent a lot of time talking to us and with our dogs, getting to know us.

I am so upset right now. I went to Petco tonight and purchased their fresh dog food. It’s called fresh pet in the refrigerated section. I fed it to my dogs. As I was closing the bag I noticed that some of the moist kibble looked like it had little white dots all over it. I thought maybe there is some cheese in this or something. As I investigated the bag expired 10/30/18 and the other bag expired January 24, 2019. Today is March 1, 2019. Now I’m assuming that the white spots are mold on the dog food And as I take a whiff it has a funky smell to it. I surely hope my dogs don’t get violently sick from it now. This is up to the store to make sure that their products aren’t expired that they are selling to the public. This stuff isn’t even cheap. The employees there are not keeping an eye on their pet food expiration dates. So if you purchase anything at the Macedonia, OH Petco you better check the expiration dates.I went back to the store and they made things right. They gave me dog food that was not expired. They indicated that they were under a new manager who was organizing and cleaning things up in the store. They now are carrying origin dog food which is in my opinion the best dry kibble out there. They have it at a competitive price. So I am adjusting my review now.I feel that this is a little bit of a smaller pet store it would be nice to see more collar options for dogs and cats.

Very helpful staff. Store was very clean and well kept. It was not very busy when I went, so maybe that was why I had plenty of attention from the staff but I did appreciate their service. The prices seemed fair and comparable to other big box pet stores. The animal enclosures were all pretty clean and the animals all seemed in good health.

I stopped in to get some aquarium supplies. Gina at the Macedonia, OH store was very helpful, friendly and polite. The store was well kept and the other staff members were nice.

Such an amazing store! I get my dog groomed by Brittany, who is incredibly talented and so kind! I always feel comfortable leaving my dog with her because she genuinely cares for her and always goes the extra mile to make sure my dog is cared for. The store itself is always welcoming and I am always asked if I need help with anything. If you’re in need of grooming services or pet supplies, this is the place for it!

Bought crickets yesterday and half of them are already dead. Not including the 5 that were dead in the bag to begin with. Won't be buying them from here again. Was there for a while before anyone asked If I needed help. Which almost seemed deliberate as if I was up to something. Guy at the counter was just sitting down playing with his phone, that seems to be a regular thing there.

Very unhelpful and rude. Apparently you have to show an online price for an item during checkout in order to receive that discount, I didn’t know that when I came in frantic searching for a cone for my recovering dog. I realized too late and they wouldn’t honor it. Cashier was rude too. I will definitely not be shopping here ever again.

The staff is so nice! There's always a guy at the register waiting. Usually if there's one or two people ahead of me a manager will rush up and check me out. People ask if I need help while browsing. I like that you have sales and deals. Found a couple cool things on clearance. I am really excited for the free dog food deal!

I love this place and the personalities here. Their deals are great, even though you usually have to buy in bulk to achieve it. I've never had an issue here at all. My favorite cashier is Tom, he knows a lot about dogs/cats and is very honest. The best days to go are on weekday nights. Enjoy.Update 5/11/22: I had a, as usual, great experience at Petco. It says my cashier was "Michael" but I'm not sure if that is the supervisor's name or possibly the female who rang me out. She was super friendly and fast, and I can't ask for more than that.

Brought my dog in for his shots.We didn’t know he would freak out, thrash, and need to be muzzled.The vets and staff were wonderful with him, very patient, and understanding since this was my dogs first vet appointment.Grateful to everyone who helped and tried their best with him.The store was big and clean thank you to everyone who helped with my boy.

The cashier was friendly and upbeat. She made us feel as if our business was appreciated. Quick checkout with no waiting. Store was well organized and easy to navigate. The only complaint was that we had a question regarding a cart that was in front of one of the aisles(wondering if it was clearance), we could not find any one to ask. We were back there 5-10mins, we looked at a few other items while looking for an associate, we didn't find one. So we just went to the register.
