Shannon Shooley from Louisville cost cutters has done an amazing match on my color. With my daughter getting married in a few months, I have a lot of gray around my face. She highlighted the gray with my own color and you cannot tell it was colored. I am salt and pepper and the highlights look so natural you could not even tell. Kristy was great! She turned my long straggly gray hair into the shorter colored style I wanted. This was my first time with her & I made sure to get her name because I will return again. My hair looks so much better. Also, the price for shampoo, cut, & color was a lot less than I thot it would be. I was very satisfied with my first trip to Cost Cutters😊

I got a spiral perm and it did not turn out at all. Christy had the rods hanging half an inch from my scalp. Christy used bigger rods than what I wanted so it could take her less time. I don't even have the curls that I wanted, it's just wavy and it was very expensive. I knew that I needed smaller rods because my hair is very long . I have no curl at the top of my hair it's straight it looks horrible. I'm very disappointed and upset!! I got my hair permed to make it easier for me because I have to go in the hospital and have major surgery. It needs to be fixed! That's very laughable you expect me to come back and give you another chance. How about you offerer to fix my hair or give me some money back!!! Disgusting!!

Been going here since kindergarten! Always do well with trims and hair coloring. Once my hair came out orange and at a separate appointment, they fixed it for me for free. Form making an appointment online, to paying, everything was quick and easy! I got there about 10 minutes early and they took me right back. When she was done cutting my hair she asked if I wanted styled. She put some amazing smelling product in my hair, and told me about the sale on their products. I ended up leaving with a new haircut and new products. They were quick, professional, and very friendly. I highly recommend.Services: Haircut, Hairstyling

Love Louisville Best Cuts! I personally prefer Shannon and I’ve trusted her with every cut and color my hair has seen for the past 2 years. She perfectly replicates the length, style and color that I want every single time whether I show her a picture or just give her a brief description of what I have in mind. She truly is a talented and friendly stylist who makes getting a haircut such a pleasant and relaxing experience. Literally the worst haircut I've ever had. Had to go to great clips to have it fixed! She cut a hole in the side and the back, layers uneven and not blended. Blunt cut on the sides yet very short uneven layers in the back. Thank God great clips was able to salvage my hair and fix the cut as best as they could without having to give me a pixie!

Shannon is absolutely amazing! I have been going to her for the last 6 years and she always does a fantastic job. She does an excellent job cutting my hair to exactly the length and style I want. In addition, I've had her do both blonde and brunette coloring, but I typically get blonde done with her. She has done balayage and partial/full highlights on me. I know I can go to her and say, "I want my usual," or "just make my hair look good," and she always gets the look perfect. It is really hard to find a good affordable stylist that works well with maintaining blondes. I definitely trust her with my hair!I currently live up in Cleveland and I will drive the 1hr 20 minutes to get my hair done by her. She is always professional and I have no problem getting in to see her. It is crazy to me that people will spend hundreds of dollars at a "high end salon" when you can get the same looks at Cost Cutters. The prices are perfect for the quality style and color you get! Definitely worth stopping in!

I have been to this particular establishment a few times. The last couple times has not been my best experience there. Needless to say, I left very unhappy and was ready to call the following morning to speak with the manager. I showed the girl what hairstyle I wanted and asked if this was something she could accomplish. She right away said oh yes absolutely. Made me feel confident that she could execute what I was after. So while she was washing my hair we chatted and I found out she was only working at this particular place for about a month. Right there was a red flag. Then I let her keep going, giving her the benefit of the bout that she must be good if they hired her, right? So I let her go on and then when everything was said and don’t she asked me if I wanted to see the back. Now mind you, all I was seeking was a tossed bob look. Nothing, I thought, was to difficult. So, when she was all said and done, she hands me the mirror to look at the back of my hair and I was shocked. It was SO short! I asked if she could do the stacked look before I even sat down and she said yeah, absolutely. No. What she did was layer my entire back of my head and my top piece is just as long as the piece that is against my neck. Awful!Then she just cut the sides at a blunt straight line instead of an angle.. I proceed to tell her that this is not what I had in mind, it is way shorter in the back than what the photo shows. I even brought the photo back up on my phone to show her. She then is very admit that what she did is exactly like the photo and brought the other girl working there over to ask her opinion. She should not have found someone else and be all like hey this looks like this right? That was just disrespectful and I feel like she did it to make herself look good and right instead of trying to make me feel better. Also she should of done right by either making it free or something not just brush you off. Mistakes happen and no one is perfect but how you deal with your mistakes is a big deal. I mean she wasnt owning up to anything. Very unprofessional.

Will never go back. It was so uneven I had to go and have it fixed somewhere else. The girl that cut it had booked 2 at one time so she rushed through it. I asked her to cut it at my shoulders and it’s WAY shorter then that.

I do not recommend getting your hair done here by a girl named Shannon she is nice but didnt follow direction as all and did her own cut. The cut she gave me is nothing like the pic I showed her or what I gave specific details about. I asked for a shoulder length cut, basically to trim up what I had no extra layers and not at the collar bone. I now have a short bob cut that comes to my chin and is shorter in the back. Im honestly devestated I know hair will grow back but I have an interview and I feel like I look awful and now have no confidence. I also had a date on saturday I will now be cancelling because the cut she gave me I dont even want anyone to see me. Disgusted. I even asked her once i noticed how short she was going to leave it be longer even if its not even out
