If you’d like to be treated rudely, you are headed to the right place. Good customer service “usually” comes with a smile. But not here unfortunately. If you happen to run into the worker who trains others, who says “usually” in every sentence, get ready for a poor experience in what should be an enjoyable trip to a wonderful store which has just about everything you need for any project.

I recently needed to update my Treager grill and Raleigh at Village Hardware did an incredible helping me set up the new grill connect it to my phone and home internet. Raleigh went over all aspects of setting the grill up, to maintenance and cleaning the grill. I was completely impressed. I recommend Village Hardware and Raleigh for Treager grills and repairs without reservations.

We purchased a fireplace with rock install at our new home we just built. The fireplace unit install went great.We decided at the last minute during construction that we wanted to add some rock around our fireplace.Village hardware was able to work us into there schedule with a short notice before flooring went into our house. We were grateful.After completion with the rock it wasn’t quite exactly what we were looking for. There was some miscommunication in our design. I contacted the village hardware immediately. We worked with Jeff. I explain to Jeff that really wasn’t the look we were looking for.We almost immediately ended up in a verbal altercation that ended up going nowhere. Jeff was very rude and treated me very bad. We ended up not finding a solution to our problem.We wanted the rock stretch the entire distance of the wall around the unit. We received two boxes of unused rocks after the installation. There was plenty of rock to finish the job but they wouldn’t come back and lay more to finish what we wanted.The rocks cannot be returned for credit either which is fine but there was enough material to finish what we wanted done.Then before I knew it Jeff was manipulating my family my friends and the contractors working on our house to convince me that the situation was OK and to just pay the bill and Move on. I went ahead and paid the bill in full and still no solution to our problem.It’s been my dream to own a fireplace in our house. This has been our first one. For $10,500 I expected a little customer service.If you’re going to purchase a fireplace install from these guys make sure you get pictures or drawings invite them to your home to get a clear understanding of what you want. Their set ups are very expensive and if you don’t get what you want they won’t come back and fix it.When they completed the project there were still sharpie lines on both sides of the fireplace drawn on the drywall. Not the end of the world but for a $10,000 fireplace set up please clean up your mess when you’re done.I don’t even wanna know what kind of service I’ll get when I need to go back for service and repair.Even though they don’t say nice things about me ever but I do want to congratulate them on a clean store. They also have a lot of great merchandise in stock here. I do believe they sell high-quality products also.

We went there, for the first time, to buy a bbq grill. They have a large selection of Weber grills. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They are delivering it free of charge. We live about 30 miles away.
