My family went in vacation for a week, instead of having someone watch my two dogs at home we boarded them. Walked into the the store and noticed she had kennels stacked on top of kennels. Not only in the front room but in the back. When we got back I’ve seen one kennel had three dogs in it. Not sure if that’s what the owner wanted but thought it was odd. One medium sized dog and two little dogs to a large kennel. After paying the bill we were able to get the dogs which were in the back room. They were very excited to see me. I let them both loose and my son looked at me and said “look at her tail it’s bloody”. Sure enough it was. The owner said that it was probably due to their excitement. We kennel her through the day and she never has had any bloody tails. Ya, I was very frustrated but since we already paid the bill what else could we do? When we arrived at home the dogs seamed off. On examination we also found my other dog had a bloody tail. Now one, maybe. Two…there’s something wrong. It’s been two days since we got them back and one of them is still off and the younger one is starting to come around. For first time boarding dogs this place was so overwhelmed with dogs it wasn’t funny. Is there even a law as to how many they can have at one time? I wouldn’t recommend this business for your fur babies. After talking to another person that works in a different boarding place, she said she talked to her boss and they have had numerous complaints about this issue. It’s your dog but mine will never go back there again!!!! 😡😡😡

I adopted a Yorkie. I previously took him to a groomer 10 minutes from Karen’s. Both visits he shook uncontrollably. The third visit I witnessed a puppy being abusively treated. I contacted Karen; after grooming he was calm, didn’t shake, and she said he was very good/well behaved. Her business is clean and I drive 40 minutes to take my dog there. Reasonably priced and worth it.

Karen is the best groomer. She’s a certified groomer having 30 years of experience grooming all sizes and all kinds of dogs. She’s very gentle and very patient with her little and big clients. She has her clients ready for their owners on time.Karen is BBB rated.
