Grew up working here, long before the new owners took over. How this beautiful place has evolved and changed into a gorgeous welcoming venue is wild to me! Love stopping by on date nights with my husband. Such a great place to unwind and relax.

We went to a perogie cooking class at HVO. Well presented, fun and easy. The chef was great. The perogies we made were not as pretty as the ones they made for us to try. We made our own and got to take them home. Awesome event, we will be back for others.

Beautiful place! Love their blackberry beer, Buffalo ranch chicken flat bread, love the ice cream with all the variety of toppings and the Apple turn over. They have a variety of products from canned fruit to coffee, candies, body soap, home decor. They have 2 available and clean restrooms, one of them with diaper change station.Play ground. In summer they have some fruit you-pick and live music on weekends. You can walk through the field and find a small área qith some sheets and goats. And at the very end of the farm there is a gorgeous waterfall and a pond. I saw a weddings once.Highly recommended.

First time here it has that great open southern country feel. The shop has some great things to buy locally and the menu is small but u high recommend the Grilled cheese! The Mixed drinks in the back are fresh and good! Just to walk around to the various areas is refreshing with all of the landscaping. The hospitality is warm southern feeling too!

My husband and I had our wedding in the store barn in April this year. It was absolutely beautiful! The staff are extremely kind and accommodating, they made the night extra special. They were also very flexible with planning and how we wanted things set up. I felt like some of venues we looked at had a lot of built in hidden fees and extra charges if you wanted to use their decorations or have specific things set up but this venue is not like that. We were so happy we chose to have our wedding at HVO, I would recommend it to everyone!

I recently photographed a wedding at Hidden Valley Orchards, and it was such a lovely place! You can tell it is very popular for the local community as well, but we were able to find some beautiful scenery towards the back that was less crowded for the wedding photographs (you definitely should check out the waterfall they have in the back! So pretty)! I've attached a few images I took from the day!!-Victoria (Mystical Rose Photography)

I really enjoyed my time here! I've only been once, but plan on returning. It's been renovated and it absolutely gorgeous inside. They host lots of little events for kids and adults. Berry picking is so fun and it's never crowded. My son loved their kids event here where he got to feed goats, go on a train ride, and play on their playset. The bakery inside has delicious breakfast and pastries. U had a cinnamon roll made from pie crust, which was clever and so yummy. They have lots of options as well as coffee. They do have lunches as well. It's very clean and well kept. Every employee I spoke with was very friendly and welcoming. Some local vegetables are also sold here.

Is a great place for family to come when it’s not so full. I wasn’t a fan of the two bathrooms for the entire facility. Families, means kids and that means long queues. They have a nice outdoor area to enjoy fair weather, the food offering was bland but you really come here for the market, ice cream, and cider.

Nice beer selection. Cute sop with bakery items. An ice cream parlor and food we didn't try but looked good. Live music, good service, ample parking. Roamed through the orchard and saw the baby goats. You can bring your own seating or there are some tables and benches. Great atmosphere m

This review isn't about any of the products for sale, but the lack of luster, and ambiance. My last visit before this past Thursday was maybe 10 years ago. Sadly it seemed like the inventory had declined and was pretty sparse. I used to love coming here as a kid, getting cider and pumpkin goodies. I heard there was a problem with the orchard this year. They usually have a plethora of monster caramel apples, chocolate, nuts, etc for toppings making them 4 inches thick. This year there were only a dozen or so plain caramel apples displayed. There is a new taproom, which I didn't visit, but the patio area looked really nice. The pumpkin patch apparently didn't take off either. We were there as they were placing the pumpkins in the empty patch. Pretty anticlimactic when small kids are watching.

The festivities seem to start at 11, but the place opens earlier. My son enjoyed the play area and since he was under two there was no cost for him. We also enjoyed picking out pumpkins from their patch and seeing the goats and sheep. They also had great live music. Their bathrooms are very clean so that is a plus. My husband enjoyed their apple dumpling and I enjoyed a warm apple cider. They also had delicious apples for with information about which type was best for different types of cooking or baking. They even had a couple vegan gluten free options in their gift shop but not in any of the fresh baked goods as far as I could tell.

This place is an absolute HIDDEN GEM right on Route 48. They have a fabulous menu…….not lengthy but really good. We got a peach flatbread and a veggie wrap. Both were exceptional . The drinks are awesome too. We ordered the frozen Marg of the night. There is entertainment outside.on the weekends. We come fairly frequently………it is a fabulous evening. There is ice cream on site and a kids play area as well. You should check it out.

Great place to visit. Free entry. They've got apples, cider, fritters and pies. A nice pumpkin patch. Family friendly with outdoor seating and fire rings. They had live music and a bar. Plus, they're dog friendly too. Lots of cute, well-behaved doggos there.

Went to the Peach Farm Festival Event, poorly organized, no signs and directions. The food stalls were messing up orders and backed up. It had potential just needs to be more organized. I believe it would’ve been more enjoyable if the event lasted longer since its a Saturday (10am - 4pm). However, I would love to come back here next year when its better organized 😗😊

I grew up on this farm many years ago. I think what the current owners have done with the business is awesome! I was able to go and see it recently and it was wonderful! So many happy people were there enjoying all the great activities that are offered! Families were walking around the farm, soaking up the ambiance and experiencing the joy of being outdoors. If I could give it 6 stars, I would have! Don’t miss this opportunity to see the covered bridge and log cabin that my dad and grandfather built...so much fun!

Went for a fish fry on 2-23-24, will not be returning, I believe the grease hasn't been changed in awhile everything was dark brown, no taste to the food. Tarter sause was too sweet, people that worked there were very friendly

I had an order for 1 bottle of wine get misplaced. When I asked about the order everyone I worked with was very helpful. Then a second company cause another delay in the order and HVO fixed the issue. They also gave me 2 free bottles of the saw wine and a HVO gift card. All around amazing service and very kind staff.

This family friendly farm if fantastic for a day of fun!My family make a trip up to this farm once a year during the Ohio cider festival to pick up some fresh, locally made, apple treats. The festival has live music, area to pet/feed goats llamas and other farm animals, tractor rides, and a corn maze. I would recommend getting the apple fritter, and apple cider slushy. The farmhouse lunch is always good too. They regularly have a couple food trucks serving during events as well. The farm has bins of pre-picked apples to select from, bagged apples, or pick your own. They sell a variety of other vegetables as well as lots of farm type nicknacks, oils, candles.Prices are not as cheap as superstores, but on par for local farm produce. They host several events throughout the fall and the market is open during any of these.I would recommend using the bathroom before you come, as this is a real farm so the only bathrooms are porta-potties.Edit 10/10/2018 - In the last year they have rebranded to HVO and made a lot of changes to their facility. There is now a large overflow parking lot, aisles are gravel, but cars are still in grass, so be aware of how rainy/soft the ground is when parking. The main shop has be updated and rearanged. There is plentiful indoor seating, indoor bathrooms, a 'starbucks-like' cafe serving apple and coffee type beverages and pasties, and large crates of apples for purchase. The diner was a little warm despite cool weather outside as there isn't much airflow. Checkout registers now have nice digital POS terminals. There is friendly happy staff cleaning tables and helping customers. The food trucks have moved to a more central location, and the live band is gone. They now have a hayride, pumpkin patch, corn maze, and children's area. This is a smoke free and dog free facility.Overall these changes have addressed most of the big issues I've had in the past. I hope they will exercise restraint in the future, as I would hate to see this place focus on money over authenticity. I love that HVO was a farm first, and I don't want the roughness of a true farm to be lost in the pursuit of consumerism.
