We stopped here before heading back home to Cincinnati. The food was absolutely incredible. One of the best lunches I’ve ever had. Hot, homemade, and super fresh. The waitress was so incredibly friendly and fast. Then when we went to pay found out that it had been taken care of by another person!! So incredibly nice. We will certainly be back. Wish we lived closer so we could come here more often! Thank you!!!

This was my first visit to this restaurant in Laurelville, OH. This location was quaint with a great homey and comfortable atmosphere. The Philly Cheese steak and fried were excellent. Wings with BBQ were great, and so were the homemade green beans. Kelly, our great server, provided me with some donut holes. OMG, how great they were. Back to Kelly. She was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, patient, and customer focused. Made us feel right at home. Kelly made this an excellent experience. This is a hidden gem and highly recommended.

Ended up here by accident and it turned out amazing. Small town homey feel, and our waitress may have been the nicest lady alive. The food was all homemade and delicious. We started with deep fried mushrooms and I got a smokehouse steak sub w/ fries. The in house smoky mayo was great on the sub and fries, my girlfriend got a Ruben it was also delicious. Grabbed a couple of there "famous donuts" for the road. And it was the best d*** glazed donut I ever tried.

Parking was at a premium when we went, which usually indicates a good spot. Unfortunately our experience wasn't all that good. I think they had only one server for the whole dining area, and while she was very nice, was probably overwhelmed. Food was prompt and economically priced, but quality wasn't good. A few of us got burgers, and the meat was weird, with a very smooth consistency and maybe some filler. It didn't taste particularly beefy or good. I got a Reuben, and the meat was kind of grey, almost like they used the Philly cheese steak meat instead of corned beef.

Yum!!!! You have to try this place! My husband and I are disappointed in a lot of places, even pricey places. This was absolutely delicious! I had the Reuben which was fresh and delicious, my husband the bourbon chicken special and again spectacular!The owner stepped away to talk to us and shared her passion and desire to provide fresh ingredients—which I can appreciate completely!Don’t forget to try the fresh “warm” donuts, you can tell made with love ❤️****UPDATE! I hate this! Ugh. Well my family drove 45 minutes back to have this experience and it was NOT the same :(. Chicken nuggets were cold in the middle, few fries per plate, drink order was not right, food was just bland. :( it was very disappointing. Will say the owner and her daughter were not working and I think they really make this place magical.Without them it’s ran like your at a typical Laurelville diner. I think they need to be careful who they hire. I know it’s difficult right now, but this was night and day! Sorry to change to 2 stars. :(

Absolutely, positively, 5 STARS. This is a warm, yet vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The Ridge Inn takes special care when creating their recipes and the staff are very inviting.I also learned they are very community oriented and donate to the locals for all types of reasons.Great place!A must see restaurant in a quiet little town in the Hocking Hills.

Hands down, the best donuts! If you like Krispy Kreme, these are even better. Each one is huge, the size of three Krispy Kreme donuts. The cinnamon donut holes just melt in your mouth. Our donuts were still warm when we got them, and they didn't last long. The best grab and go breakfast if you're just driving by. Trust me, stop and check them out!

We love having an awesome locally owned restaurant 10 minutes from home. Every time I eat here I'm never disappointed. I was there this past Friday and it was steak night... it was delicious.. No need to drive to a big city to get a gourmet meal when I can support a local business. I forgot to get a picture of the salad and bread that also came with my meal. If your in the Hocking Hills do yourself a favor and stop in.

My second time at The Ridge Inn. Last time I had a yummy breakfast. This time I was served the BEST meatloaf dinner ever! A substantial side salad made with a variety of greens and veggies. The meatloaf was better than grandma’s served with corn fritters and taters and gravy. Beautifully served. I should have ordered cheese cake but I was too full. I’ll stop for some next time though town.☺️

Two words. Hippy Hash. It's truly a culinary masterpiece and so I ordered two. The chicken salad sandwich was tasty as well along with another appetizer that I can't remember right now and I'll come back later to edit in. The decor reminds me of a cozy home and the deck is enormous with plenty of room for outdoor seating. Our waitress was cool and relaxed and I enjoyed every minute. Stop here for lunch on your way out of Hocking and you won't regret it

Best doughnuts I've ever had. We stumbled upon this place while waiting for another place to open. Thank goodness we decided to wait here because the donuts are the most glorious thing we found in a while. We were even lucky enough to get them right off the line. The first couple minutes they were too hot to eat, and they were still incredible. Absolutely worth a slightly burnt tongueThere has never been a donut place before where I have asked to have our picture taken.

We never got a refill on our drinks, not even the water. I had even asked about refills because I was incredibly thirsty, and it was the only thing I ordered to go with my water. The other two guests I was with ordered both food and water. We only went here because The Village Cafe was closed. At least the table was reasonably clean, and I was told the meatloaf was good.
