Spoke to Patty who was very pleasant and helpful for seasonal information. We were excited to join as it is a beautiful lake. Called over today to ask a question about site we were planning to come look at. Spoke to Doug who was (unprovoked) very rude and went against what Patty had initially told us over the phone. Very disappointed that the owner treats prospective campers in such a demeaning manner. I can't imagine how he treats the regular campers. Unfortunately will not be getting business or recommendations from us.

Great place to stay when visiting Amish Country.Nice campground. Gated and secureClean and well kept. Sites are gravel and level. Lake is beautiful. Nice playground if you have kids with you.Mostly seasonal spots, about half dozen spots for travelers. Julie and her husband were super nice.Only disappointment was we bought 2 bundles of wood. What was brought over to our site was wet building scraps. But did not hinder my 5 star review. Great campground

Facilities were very nice and fellow campers were very friendly. The staff was a different story. Standoff-ish, pretentious, and accused us of flooding a bathroom on the basis that we had a pop-up camper alone (which we had nothing to do with). Very strict rules and staff won’t hesitate to yell at you if you make a mistake. Nice place, unwelcoming and rude staff. Not coming back again. Don’t even bother if you have pets. More like a prison than a relaxing getaway, and definitely not worth the money.

Have been camping here since the mid '60s, initially with my parents, raised my daughter here. Current owner, Mr Hawkins has never done anything halfway, facilities are Immaculate, staff is wonderful and welcoming. Once you camp here every other place will feel like much less. Clean, safe, with family centric atmosphere. Love the place and more importantly the people!

We are seasonal campers and are very happy at the campground. The grounds are well kept. The pool is very nice and the bathrooms are clean and well kept. The owner does not tolerate loud or abusive behavior anywhere on the grounds. It is a gated and thus safe for children. We like it.

Very disappointed, nice resort, but the owner has 2 faces. We were told our sight was 50 -amp but it was only 30amp. We were told it never floods but it flooded every time it rained. First time we had 4 inches, some of our lights actually floated away. The owner was friendly until he got our money. Very clicky with everyone but the new people like us. Stay away from sites 2and 3 p they flood constantly

I think this park is beautiful and well kept by STEVE the manager. As for everything else this park gets a 0. It says pet friendly but don't bother bringing them. The rules change daily. You are not allowed to take your dogs for a walk on their leash around the park..they have to stay at your camp site. You are not allowed to carry your dog from camp site to camp site. They can't even ride on a golf cart with you. My sister in law tried to drive her dog in her truck to visit some friends in the park and that is not even allowed! Mind you he tried kicking her out for this. The owner Doug has control issues and wants to police everybody. Feels more like a prison than a campground. I would rather stay in a park that is little more run down and have better customer service than stay here again. I will NEVER stay at this park again.

We love our seasonal site. This is our second year camping here. Lots of amenities but also lots of rules. My biggest complaint is we were told we couldn't fill up a very small, baby pool for our daughter. The owners had concerns about the wells......however you are able to wash your car and camper, which certainly uses way more water. Other than that we've had a really good time here and enjoy coming for family time. Super clean, we'll taken care of and great playground and pool. We will be back next year!

Very pretty campground especially if you get a spot by the lake. Nice lake for fishing and pontoons. Nice pool. This last season you could rent out the pool at the end of day for private pool party. There are a wide range of sites for permanents. Some are nice and some are just okay. This not the campground for you if want to get away from politics. A lot political flags, signs and even parades. It is fine that people have their political views but I would rather not have to deal with all that when trying to camp and getaway from the mundane of daily life. The Facebook group for the campground which is the main way to get info on events at the campground for seasonal campers, tends to be a platform for people to post their political views and beliefs instead just for campground information. Rules are stated in the campground but are not always enforced unless there is an incident or someone complains. Example is the COVID guide lines were posted at the pool but were generally not followed. So if you live and breathe politics and were a huge fan of the last president this campground for you. Otherwise it is just okay.

We were seasonal campers here this summer. This is the cleanest, nicest campground in Ohio!!!!!We made many friends!Thank you Doug, Jami, Michelle, Jess, and Dougger! This was a wonderful place to share with our family and friends! We will always have great memories from the summer of 2020. We might be back if a spot opens up for the 5th wheel we just bought...if not....we will return as weekend campers next year. God Bless you all!

This campground is packed with seasonal campers, to the point where I'm not sure they have more than a few camping sites available for a weekend trip. They do have several cabins that are well kept and ready to rent. The facilities here are very nice. Bathrooms and showers near the pool area are each there own full bathroom setup. Campground is great for a weekend getaway with kids. I look forward to returning here again in a few weeks.

I would prefer to give it a -10 star rating. It from the first check in to the last check out. A couple months ago we had reserved several cabins for my daughters wedding weekend. My sister was the first to check in on Friday. She was supposed to have a deluxe cabin. She gets there and they say they only have a medium cabin (something that was never even an option when I called to book them.) It was far from where the rest of us were staying. I check in a little while later and tell them that in one of the cabins I booked one group of 4 would be in it one night and the next night a group of 3 would be staying. They said that's fine. A few hours later the owners told my daughters dad and I that there was confusion so they booked someone else for that cabin Saturday night. We said OK we will figure it out. Saturday early afternoon my friend gets there to get her cabin that she already paid for over the phone and they said they didn't have one for her. They told her they would reimburse her money. Again we said we would figure it out with the cabins we did have. This morning the owners came around and said that one of the cabins weren't paid for. It was the cabin they had told us wasn't available Saturday night. I told them none of us stayed in it and told them which ones we used. They said they would look again and come back and for my friend to come down to get reimbursed. The owners didn't come back. My friend goes to get her reimbursement and they charged her $40 because she was a guest and not a camper and tell her that we have 2 cabins that weren't paid for so we need to come take care of that. We went to the office and after having to wait forever for the owners, we were told that 2 cabins weren't paid for on Saturday night, the same 2 cabins we were told were unavailable for Saturday. He tried to change the entire story of what was said on Friday night and Sunday morning. he kept talking over me and told me the conversation was done. In general, a horrible place to go and horrible owners who clearly do not know how to run a campground.

This park is very well kept, although the customer service is not worth a penny! The owner is very rude, controlling, and updates his rules as he goes. The park says pet friendly, although he made me leave because my dog was in my truck and I left my site. Him and his wife are constantly going around gossiping about his visitors and they dislike you automatically if you're a pipeliner! I would much rather stay at a smaller, less nice park than ever even think about going back to this place! It rates a 0!

This is by far the best campgrounds around. We have been seasonal here for 3 yrs now and love it. Camped for 15 yrs prior at different campgrounds and always said if ever we were to go seasonal it would be at Long Lake. Very well kept. Nice pool and shower house along with the clubhouse. Owners are great. They put on a breakfast for Mother's Day and Father's Day and a pig roast. Bands on holiday weekends and activities and let's not forget the awesomest fireworks show on the fourth of July. Nice lake for our pontoon boat. Wouldn't want to stay any where else. Thanks Doug Jamie and Mahlin.

We are new to the camp grounds but have stayed at several through the years. This is by far the cleanest and ran very well the owner takes pride in keeping it nice some may give it a negative only because they choose to not follow the rules set forth so it stays nice at the end of the day campers come and go just be kind and respectful and you will have a great time !!!

This site was great. We were trying out our new RV and was able to rent a spot here for a long weekend. The facilities we're well kept. Not all of the features were open due to the COVID-19 but the family had a great time still. Our friends have a seasonal place here at this site and enjoy it .

One of the best campgrounds in the area !!! By far the worst customer service we have ever encountered. Guest reservations given away without notice after verifying reservation in person one week prior. Guests were personal friends of ours, and we had been dedicated seasonal campers for 3 years. Our guests were extremely disrespected by owner and his employee. Very saddened by the events that occurred, resulting in us pulling our RV out . Consumer beware !!!

It's so sad bc this is a beautiful campground that has a very nice pool as well. The camp owner is so rude. He needs to take some classes on how to be a better business owner. He talks down to people. He needs to understand that the reason he has what he has is because of us people paying to use his campground. We are very happy where we are at now. :(

This is a very nice place, however be warned this is not a place to co.e and raise hell and be rowdy. This is a family place, where people look out for each outer and rules are strictly enforced. If you violate the rules they will escort you out.If you wish to come camp, play games, swim, and have fun and can do so without speeding, or getting skunk drunk or blaring music at 3 am. Then you will love this place. There are no trails here for 4 wheelers and they are not permitted, golf carts are electric only.Eminities:Lake: pontoons, fishing(catch and release), swimmingPoolNice playgroundLittle storeFoodtrucks (weekends)Arcade (currently closed due to covid)LaundryShowersSeptic. This wasn't a bad little place to stay at. They have activities all throughout the year, a pool, a decent playground and arcade. They even have free kayaks and peddle boats. The bathrooms are quite new and really nice considering they are outdoor bathrooms. The fee is a little pricy, and they charge $5 per visitor.

We were there on a short stay, Sunday through Wednesday and it was quiet. Mostly a seasonal place, probably a dozen sites for outsiders. Sites level, shower house clean. Great pool, close to lots of activities in the area.

It is almost camping season. A New Year, a new campground, and a whole new experience! However, I must begin with Moose and Bear's review of our previous location at Long Lake Campground (by their chewing of the hat) from their experiences over the last several seasons. We chose to prepare to move to a new campground because of new rules concerning dogs (attached) and told them our plans in August, however, as you can read after telling them in person, we received this letter the next month (attached) Bear and Moose say this is a campground which is nicely kept, but NOT dog friendly with overall rules which are over the top. Dogs cannot even be walked off the lot here. Walking is a big part of Bear and I's summer fun. Not to mention the tone of this letter we received from them was disgraceful and tasteless. Bear and Moose give Long Lake Campground four paws down.

Long Lake Park Campground is a wonderful place to camp. It is well maintained, clean, reasonably priced. We have been seasonal campers here for 9 years. We have been to other campgrounds and rate this as AAA.

Terrible campground. Wouldn't recommend being a seasonal camper here. Doug the owner is probably the rudest and one of the most money hungry people i've ever encountered. Will charge you a fee for everything and if you don't play by his rules he will pull your camper off the your site and charge you for that as well. Terrible owner and very overpriced for what you get.

Owner is a liar we needed 50 amp service and were told we would have it but we were only given 30 ampalso asked if it flooded because the lake was right there and were told no it didn’t but we had at least 4” of water surrounding our camper at least 3 times this season and I have pictures to prove it seems to be a big click going on here when we complained we were accused of smoking weed because someone smelled it under age kid’s driving golf carts all around and older adults drinking alcoholic beverages while driving them also don’t let the looks deceive you it’s not a good place

Went to visit a person who has an RV there...it was clean, pleasant, friendly residents...but pool was closed when it was supposed to open at 11...and buzzer at gate wasn't working properly...didn't seem to be any staff in sight to assist...run with strict rules in place...good for people staying there but not very flexible for those coming to visit...overall clean and a quality place...a bit too strict and elitist at times...friendly campers.

Beautiful grounds , but policies over the top. You can't take a leashed dog for a walk is the latest, and camp sites are packed like sardines. Too strict, not fun.
