This place is a staple and unsung hero of the Lakeside experience. I couldn't imagine Lakeside without them! Great people, and the perfect place to get anything from fresh ingredients for dinner to whatever you forgot when you were packing.

I had a negative experience in August 2023 in this store. The owners completely ignored me over and over even when I was checking out. It was soooo uncomfortable.I finally found the water and the cooler wasn’t even cold. The windows were dirty and there was a layer of dust on the dry goods.I don’t ask for much but when I can’t get an answer and I am treated like a ghost it’s worth mentioning.These people make hundreds of thousands of dollars running the ONLY convenient store in walking distance of Lakeside.Please act more professional and clean your store.

There is no better market because of the service you receive! I arrived just as Ray, the owner, was locking the door. He asked what I needed and I told him we were having tacos and my granddaughter, who was with me, only eats them with sour cream. Ray went back in and sold me the sour cream!!! My granddaughter will ALWAYS remember Ray’s kindness and customer service!

I've visited Lakeside all my life, and Ray, his employees, and Erie Market are always there, ready to help and go the extra mile. Best purchase (although they are brought in from a great bakery outside) : SNOOGLES!😋😋😋

Great "small" market that had everything we were looking for. We're from out of town staying at an Inn. You would expect prices to be high at a mom and pop store. Absolutely not. And, I had an incredible Bacon wrapped Filet Mignon from their meat counter. Owner was extremely helpful and very friendly.

They have just about anything you need during your vacation at lakeside with reasonable prices. They have meat counter with local meat and most Staples for supplies/drinks. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Erie Food is an amazing little store. You can find 99% of anything and everything you need to make dinner. I've even challenged Ray with some odd items on my grocery list and he always has them.

Best meat market around. Potatoe salad to die for. Amber and Ray are at your service with daily lunch specials. They have a variety of beer and wines to wet your whistle. If you have a sweet tooth, look for their homemade brownies, pies, strudels, and colorful seasonAL cookies.

Good selection, for a small store, and the staff is friendly and helpful. If you stop in at lunch time be prepared to wait though. The store is very popular with local workers, who come in for soups and sandwiches.
