This place is so much fun. They have so many things for everyone to do and it is very kid friendly. They have tennis courts, paintball Arena, putt putt golf, horseback riding, and a swimming pool and hot tub as well as an arcade. Cabins are very nice and well kempt. We have stayed here many times over the years and have never had an issue with cleanliness of the cabins or the conditioning of them. Highly highly recommend

This place was wonderful. There is mini golf, horse back riding, cabin camping, indoor and out door swimming pools, exercise courses for dogs, rv parking, an arcade, and it's within minutes of the salt fork lodge. They have daily events for the whole family, we tye dyed shirts, and do special events for holidays. We will deffinatly be going back to enjoy this place.

With all of the money that they get in subscriptions, they don't take great care of the campsites. The areas that were supposed to be able to fit a 36 foot camper barely fit a 30 foot one. We couldn't get the awning or the patio out, and we ripped up the side of the camper. There was supposed to be wifi, but where we were positioned, it was okay at best. A lot of the arcade machines were messed up in some way shape or form.

Good stay. My family stayed in the camper facility off to the side. Full hookup was very convenient because there shower house is a good mile away. Camp store is what you'd expect about anywhere. Plus when I was there an Amish lady was selling home made food! It was great.

Best time I ever had with my family before I entered Senior year. We rented two cabins, and while it was a little hot in ours, it was cool to have this unique cabin where the bed was right above another room. You could walk to the swimming pool, or a golf cart was provided in order to get around. When it's not too muddy, there's some trails to walk on the lower levels. Overall, it's a huge and fun resort to go to, and I'd definitely recommend going there, even during winter if you aren't afraid of the cold.

We stayed in a cabin for a few days. It's kinda a rip-off. For the quality of the cabins and having to pay extra for linens. You're better off renting one of the really nice cabins in the Captains Circle. They didn't even provide hand soap for the bathrooms. Also, the nicer cabins have a Jacuzzi tub included in the amenities.

Loved all the amenities. However the shower and bath houses leave a lot to desire. No privacy except the showers at the pool and they are dirty. Visit Wally World and see their shower house. Always clean, large private showers with an extra space to dress and undress. Spend some money on upgrading your bath houses and you would definitely get 5 stars. However all said we had a great time and I'm sure we will visit again soon.

Staff in the office was so helpful when we stopped to check the place out. So many things to do. They even have a new disc golf court. Just would be too hard for us to park our large DP motorhome. Sites aren't really level. Lots of hills.

All adult staff members were very nice, a younger lady at the ice cream shop was impatient for some reason. The golf course was a big let down. It looked like it had been flooded for years and never maintained. The pool was closed several time do to little ones pooping in the pool. I was a little overly shocked at the behavior of some of the adult campers. Saturday night was a crazy free for all party. The activities for young kids were nice but when a over abundance of parents came to the events it seemed like a bad cook out where no one has a place to sit and no one was very social. The gun range needed a divider from the archery range. The nature center was interesting but so stuffy i felt like it might be a health hazard. That place needed a few bathroom fans installed and maybe some new carpet. I would not go back to camp there. Its to dated its a place where the members are really complacent , but everything is kind of falling appart in one way or the other. Also the playground is to small. And in the sun most of the day.

Very nice cabins and scenery. MOSTLY friendly staff. General store does not carry enough if you forgot anything and easy to get lost on the trails if you go yourself without a guide because they are poorly marked

Rather expensive but I liked some of the amenities they had. A lot of the retreat looked dated. They gave me everything they promised but we live in Ohio and the dining card they gave us appears to be only for Michigan. Sales and staff were very nice.

Have been going out here since 1990 or so. Its such a hreat family oriented place! Its so cool to relive my own memories, while making new ones with my children. The resort is well accommodated, great staff and really is just a gem. Not many places like this left !

We came for a short stay. We ended up leaving early because the little cabin we stayed in was too hot. There was only one A/C in the front that didn't reach the bedroom. So it was ridiculously hot and sticky. Me and my husband couldn't even sleep together because it was too hot. I ended up sleeping in the futon in the living area.I would definitely think adding a split ac or second ac to the cabin. The area was clean and stocked so that was a plus. I also think they should have made more of a parking area in front of the cabins because had I not taken my truck pulling in and out would have been a nightmare. Now we did have fun at the pool and the arcade room. We really were looking forward to paddleborads on the lake but we're informed it was out of service. Over all we had fun but not really impressed with the cabin.

We visited here because at the state fair they were signing people up for a time share visit. So we drove 2 hours to see what it was all about. It's a rip off! They told us that it's private resort. It is not! It is open to the public! It says that on the website. It was not a glamorous resort like we were expecting. Some of the cabins have no bathrooms in them. Then they wanted us to pay $15,000 plus $549.00 a year to be a member. Believe me, they had nothing worth paying $549.00 a year, let alone $15000.00!

Had a great time staying a week in a Captains Circle cabin during the week of 12/10/18. Went over to Paradise Point one evening & got a clear, fantastic view of the Geminid Meteor Shower & the Christmas Comet over by the old entrance. Love staying here at any time of the year!!

We were at the resort for 5 days. Hiked and enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. We did not take a trail ride this time, though we have in the past. It is a beautifully maintained park. Close to route 77.

We have been members for two years. They have done a wonderful job keeping up with the maintenance for the pool areas. However, in the two years we have been members there, we can see a very noticeable difference with everything else. The ranch is looking very run down. They have graded the roads but they are in need of gravel. Our daughter, and friends, stayed in a cabin this past winter. They were very displeased. The cabin was clean but a large tear in the carpet and again, rundown.

If you love camping this place is for you but I myself felt out of place. Also even though the staff was very friendly, the people there that were camping gave us a vibe as if we shouldn't have been there. Didn't feel comfortable out there at all

My family and I have coming here for a long time, and before that my dad's family came here. It's always a pleasure. There's so much for us to do between paintball and swimming and boating, to name a few we like to do.We recently had the pleasure to attend the Halloween party they throw every year. This was our fourth time attending. We had a blast.
