The people are super nice, service was great! We all are ordered Burgers, fresh cut fries and we had an order of onion rings. Everything was amazing and the burgers are gigantic! Oh, and the beer was cold, sometimes that seems to be a problem.

Absolutely a gem! I stumbled on this place after a day at Guilford Lake and it's the perfect hole-in-the-wall bar/diner.Reminded me of home with the bar signs and wooden fixtures and the outdoor seating was so cool! Very biker-friendly place and fun to sit and watch the game.I got the Danny Burger and dear god- it's a massive burger. But $8 for something that I barely was able to finish (Yeah, it's THAT big!) was a jaw-dropping price, and everything on the menu is super reasonably priced as well. So delicious, and so good for the soul.I can't wait to return!

The burgers were amazing, would have been a 4 star review but this is why it's not....#1 We were a party of five and we all ordered the dany burgers and after the lady brought the food out she didn't bring a burger out for one of us, and it took over 30 min to get the food which wasn't a problem other than one of us didn't get their burger and it would have taken too long for him to get it.#2 the bathroom was completely disgusting to the point I couldn't even use it, not to mention the actual toilet had an out of order sign on it.Kid-friendliness: It's a tavern so... Take them at your own risk.

Awesome service . Laughed alot..this "Pennsylvanian" was treated really well.Really nice and clean. Like a "chears bar" I would definitely go Back..even though. For Capt n coke he puts. The burgers are huge and taste very good. Fresh cut fries that come in very generous portions. We ordered the cheeseburger with all the works and a mushroom/swiss burger. I was only able to eat half of mine, my wife ate a third of hers. Seriously, these are large burgers. Our daughter's chickens fingers were the size of chicken breasts, lol, these were huge. Staff were SUPER friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back to try their other food and different burgers.This is a down home, local establishment that serves very good and large portions of food.

Best 1lb burgers, best bar food around period. Amazing staff and they always make you feel at home!!! Let's not forget the ice cold beer 😉 if you've never been there, I highly recommend you go.

Absolutely fantastic!! Humongous portions, delicious, and such a good atmosphere. They offer pool, have a warm (false) fireplace and also the bar! Highly recommended if you're ever in the area !!

Well when I went there u can feel good spirits and smell great food cooking ,,this one goes out to the owner,,A true what American was b4 those idiots in office took over ,to me he was awesome u can tell he takes pride in what he does and of what he owns ,,all American good felo and he cooked our food that night amazing flavor and satisfying,,we need more of these places around ,,I recommend the one pound jalapeno burger the works,God Bless ,, keep up the greatness 👍👍👍💯 John& Helens

The night was a bit chilly and we had gone to John and Helen's by recommendation of a friend. We arrived and found a seat. The music was loud coming from one speaker. There weren't many tables to choose from and the bar sitting is not very appealing to us. The food however was ginormously great!!! The "Danny burgers" we're huge and delicious!!! I strongly recommend this place for the food, but the condition of seating has some work that needs be done along with the music loudness.

We stopped today. The people are super friendly. The Danny burger was so big we shared it, and we were both full. A great place to stop and eat. We will definitely go there again.

Cute place to eat and drink. They also have a big screen where you can watch special games and what not. Prices are good and the food is great. The portions are huge though so keep that in mind while ordering!

Now there is a tale to tell they could have date the Jukebox but I've got to give him a higher rating because of the food their portions are extra large and their friendliness is as good as well if you're coming in for a bite to eat or a quick game of pool or maybe even a small drink it's a great place to be but did you Juke box needs to be updated

People here are the best...Down to earth.... Genuine people. The owners are very kind and feed you the most food ever for your money! The food is excellent! There's no better place to be with in 100 miles....Maybe the whole state!
