This is my favorite winery here on the island. The new blueberry flavors are delicious, both the wine and the specialty soda. The clothes in the shop are made to last and the slushies are so refreshing to sip on while walking through the greenhouse garden.

Looking for a great little place that's less hectic than the main drag? Monarch Winery serves good wine and awesome wine smoothies, along with a small selection of meats, cheese and crackers. Also, they have a great lawn to spread out, let the kids play and the dog run. Did I mention the delicious wine smoothies??

They've really put in some work on this place since the opening during COVID. The butterflies are officially gone, it turns out they're kind of a pain to take care of lol. Either way, the wine bar is operational and there's also some snacks for you to munch on while you enjoy the wines. Definitely recommend stopping by.

The wine slushy (mango peach)was delicious! Well worth the stop. We were there during the 3 wine festival on a Saturday. There is a nice selection in the store ranging from snacks to shirts to hermit crabs!

We visited the Monarch Winery and Butterfly Garden on a busy Saturday. While the butterfly garden looks like a good idea it was unsupervised and several children were catching the butterflies and damaging the wings. It was also overpriced for the size. This should be a perfect opportunity to educate the public but is a tourist trap.

Staff was very personable and welcoming. Outdoor entertainment was phenomenal. The frozen wine slushie timeless and you can get them to go. Loved the experience.

We visited this on a quiet Monday. We enjoyed seeing the monarchs and the snapping turtles. They just opened, so I think they are still getting set up, but there is a gift shop and a small "science area" set up where children can look into microscopes and see the structure of butterfly wings. They sell gifts and drinks inside. No public restrooms.
