I visited several different vets in the area. Hinckley animal hospital is by far the best. I wish I knew everyone's names to thank them. Dr Oscar saw my dog same day in an emergent situation. (Vets aren't always able to accommodate, but here at hinckley, they do their best to get you in.) They are all so personable and talk/pet your pets, give treats, and comfort them. They take the time to listen and ask questions to ensure a proper diagnosis and/or plan of action is appropriate for your pet's best interest and well being. They respond quickly with diagnostic testing results. I highly recommend!!

They have a great system of moving the animals through. The vet has a very good approach w the dogs. My dogs has no anxiety there. Night and day difference from other vetinary hospitals. Love it.

Great experience at Hinckley Animal hospital. Went as a new client to establish care with my new pet. The staff was all very kind and accommodating. I loved Dr. Harris, he took time to get to know me and my dog, our story and was very gentle, enthusiastic and kind throughout the time. He took time to talk, explain and allow my dog to get comfortable. Very comforting atmosphere.

Ive Been taking my Cat here since 2001 and hes still happy and Alive! Just recently I had a urgent situation and Dr. Harris made time for me to come in that same day despite being booked! They always follow-up by calling to check on your pet a day or two later just to see how their doing. I really could go on and on about all the things I love about them but you will just have to see for yourself! Also everyone who works here is very kind and helpful! UPDATE: Dr Harris retired since I last posted this review however Dr. Erin bought the practice and she is really good so thankfully Dr Harris chose someone he felt was best to continue Hinckley Animal Hospitals legacy. Dr Oscar is still here too and worked with Dr. Harris before he sold the practice. I also like that they give all their patients a "Petly" profile.

Major thanks to Dr. Erin Kalo at Hinckley Animal Hospital for getting my dog in quickly for an eye issue. Luckily it’s nothing that some steroids and antibiotics won’t fix. Dr. Erin was super thorough and made sure there was nothing else wrong with his eye. She’s very knowledgeable, caring, and it’s clear she loves animals. I also met Dr. Oscar who was friendly and kind. I had been here in the past during Covid for regular visits/vaccines when it was curbside only and it was great then too.All staff at the office was friendly and the office was clean and spacious with a great layout for patients to come in and out separate ways. I have competition/sport dogs and I am very particular about their care and treatment. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this veterinary office to any of my friends and family.

Our vet moved out of the area and we were at a loss. A friend recommended Dr. Harris at Hinckley Animal Hospital and we decided to give them a try. We are pretty picky. Our 9 year old lab is one of our children and we wanted the best. She's also a big baby so we wanted somewhere she would be comfortable. From the first visit we could not have been more impressed. Their offices are spotless and just smell clean. They take their animals in one door and out another which reduces their exposure to other dogs which is wonderful. Dr. Harris literally was on his hands and knees trying to befriend my shy lab. He is wonderful and so kind. I couldn't say enough wonderful things about him and his staff.

I have taken my cats to Dr. Jerry Harris since Hinckley Animal Hospital opened. He is very caring and takes his time with exams, he treats my cats as if they were his own. He explains everything very thoroughly and offers treatment options. I have also seen Dr. Oscar, who mirrors Dr. Harris.The staff is knowledgable, friendly and very helpful. They have always been able to fit me in when I have had emergencies. I could not imagine going anywhere else. I know my "kids" are in good hands! They're the best!

We have been patients of Hinckley Animal hospital thru many of our pets and have always been so happy with them. Dr. Erin and her staff were kind, compassionate, and understanding. Our Beamer was 14 yrs. And Dr. Erin helped us with such tough decisions. She and her staff helped Beamer out of his suffering. Losing our pets are extremely painful but it really helps when your vet is available, and willing to help in any way they can! Thankyou Dr. Erin for your support and love shown to our family. In this day and age when everyone is out for themselves it sure is nice to have a Vet hospital you can trust in the difficult decisions of our pets healthcare.

I can't state enough how great this place is! Dr Jerry & Dr Oscar and the entire staff at the Hinckley Animal Hospital treat our entire furry family with the best care! We live on 5 acres and I have a mama cat that is constantly having kittens. It makes me feel good to take them in to see everyone so that they can get checked out before I find them all good homes. Everyone is so caring, compassionate and loving. They are good to us as well as our furry family! If you don't go here, you need to. Dr. Harris is great. My dog is very anxious at the vet and we have always had to muzzle him, but he loves Dr. Harris because he is so gentle and calm toward him. The entire staff is great. I have had pets my whole life and I can say this may be my favorite vet experience yet.

I have been bringing my Shelties here for quite a few years and am very pleased with the level of care they have received. Dr. Harris and his staff are very caring and professional and take the health of my fur kids seriously. They spend whatever time is necessary on each of my fur kids and do not rush me out the door. The friendly staff follows-up with phone calls to check on their condition whenever one of them has an issue. In addition, the facility is clean, well-kept, and welcoming.

I have known Doctor Harris for several years. His clinic is beautiful, easily accessible, and comfortable. His staff is exceptional, and I felt very welcomed and professionally greeted. So did my pet, who made himself at home right away. Dr. Harris helped my kitten with his first examination, neutered him, and provided all necessary vaccinations. He treated my cat as the little person he is, and I really enjoyed his caring and professional knowledge. His staff called me back two days after my visit to follow up - very nice. Subsequently, Jagger developed an ear infection, which Dr. Harris diagnosed and treated effectively. Jagger was cured within a few days. This is the vet to visit! I LOVE Dr. Harris and his staff!

Hinckley Animal Hospital is the Best! We've been going to Dr, Jerry Harris for over 20 years because he is knowledgable, compassionate and genuinely cares about your pet and you as a pet parent! His staff of assistants and technicians are always on top of everything regarding your appointment and the needs of your special family member. We always get a follow up call or two to make sure our dogs are doing well after their visit. I can't say enough good things about Hinckley Animal Hospital. I wish Dr. Harris and Dr. Oscar could see human patients. I'd want to be one of them.They both obviously care tremendously about my furry family members. The docs explain everything extremely thoroughly in layman's terms. That makes me feel less helpless as I'm caring for my pet. I feel respected. Dr. Harris and Dr. Oscar give me credit for being able to understand what's going on. Plus I never feel like I'm being rushed through the appt.The rest of the staff are all extremely caring and warm people. If I ask Jody a question (a very experienced vet tech) she answers with such confident and depth of knowledge that you could mistake her for being a vet.I could save money and take my pets to a low cost vet clinic, which I've considered at times when I've been low on money, but I've stuck with Hinckley Veterinary Hospital because I know my family is receiving the best care possible.

We have taken our cats to see Dr. Oscar and Dr. Harris for three years now; unfortunately we are there quite frequently due to chronic health issues that require frequent maintenance. The whole staff is amazing, very understanding and kind. Fantastic animal hospital! We (and our cats) absolutely love Dr. Jerry! They diagnose a problem and thoughtfully choose a treatment, instead of just jumping to the most expensive one. They also take into consideration a cat's temperament - our one hates car rides so they try to get everything done at once, with infrequent visits. Our cats are in great hands at the Hinckley Animal Hospital and we recommend it to friends all the time!
