I have been a customer of Comfrey for many years. Always trying to ignore the fact that the staff made me feel 'watched' and that they do not take Amex. But I recently bought several packages of beeswax labeled 2.0oz. and when I weighed them found that there was only 1.8oz of actual product in each (4) package. I truly want to supportour local small businesses, but that was the final straw for me with Comfrey.

had extremely ridiculous books related to neurodivergence and autism- found multiple books looking to "cure" things like ADHD and books depicting autism as a mental illness. truly disgusted and disappointed that a store like this believes in such harmful things

It has a decent selection of health food, vitamins, tea, essential oils, natural cleaning products, natural pet supplies, great bottled water, great selection of gluten free food, freezer section of deli meat, chicken and beef, cranberry juice, baking supplies such as gluten free flour, honey, oatmeal, cereal, make up, jewelry, nasal sprays, boiron products, natural cold, flu, and allergy remedies, cold pressed flax oil, hemp oil, etc. Some things have good pricing, some things are over priced. Some employees are kind, some are a little rude. Overall not a bad store. They are not good at returns or refunds so if you purchase. Make sure you want it.

The experience was “okay” in regard to the actual store. Selections were eclectic and “meh”. It felt like the store wanted to try and do a lot of things but not do anything well.What made this a two star review was the checkout process. My Amex card was charged and then the clerk said that she needed to void it because the owner doesn’t accept Amex cards. What is ironic about this is that the store would be charged a fee regardless of the charge being voided. Also, as a small business owner myself, I know that Amex rates are identical to other merchants.There is no “Amex fee” anymore. Lastly, the worst part is that now I need to take my time to make sure that my Amex card is refunded.All in all, I doubt we will be back and I cannot recommend Comfrey Corner.

My favorite store in town! It's so convenient and I do not have to run to Columbus for quality supplements. I have been going there for over 10 years. Every single time I go into Comfrey Corner, I am greeted and asked if there is something I need help finding. The ladies working there, 100% of the time, know exactly what I need, how to use it and what is in everything I ask about. Their professionalism is fantastic and I'm so very thankful for the store and the kind ladies that work there.

My wife and I stopped in the store yesterday for the first time. We were looking mainly for some supplements for my wife's fibromyalgia and chronic pain. We were greeted at every turn and the staff all helped in finding what OTC could possible help. The selection of vitamins, supplements, books and other educational items was/is fantastic. I was particularly drawn to a book on fermenting our own food. I have been looking for organic type soaps and such. I picked up a bar of rosemary/mint goat milk soap. It is AMAZING! We will be recommending Comfrey Corner to anyone that asks and that we can brag to about the products we bought, and the products that we will come back to purchase in the future.

The products are great but the customer service is definitely lacking. I moved to the area a year ago and was very excited to go here because I was a regular at the health/natural store where I used to live. My first visit was disappointing as the employees were not friendly, they acknowledged that my husband and I were there with eye contact all over us constantly but never once greeted us, no smiles, barely talked to us even during checkout, just not friendly at all. I decided after we left to not return there because even though the products are good , customer service is very important to me. That was a year ago and last week I didn't have time to drive an hour to my hometown store so I decided to give them another shot. I knew exactly what I wanted so kindly asked where it was when I got there. The lady walked with me to where I could find it, I said "great thank you" and she continued to stand right next to me but with her back turned. It was just odd, it was like she thought I was going to steal the item and wanted me to know she was standing right there. I don't know. I've never felt like that in a store, it was just odd. Plus, the time before when she was watching us like a hawk it gave me that same feeling. I paid for the $60 product and went on with my day but it's definitely the last time I go. I will be more than happy to continue driving an hour away to a store that has the best customer service, is very helpful, and has excellent products than shop here again.

I am not one to leave bad reviews but the customer service was so poor at my recent visit that I think the owner should be aware. This store used to be a great place to shop, with friendly, knowledgeable employees. That is no longer the case. The two women behind the register were rude and less than helpful. The prices are already higher than other shopping options so with the addition of poor customer service, I will not be returning after years of shopping there.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. Lots of great products, especially gluten free and many you can’t find at the local chain grocery. Large supplement/vitamin selection and the owner and staff are always ready to assist in making recommendations on what may work best for you. Always a pleasant experience.

I have been going into Comfrey Corner of Heath for about 14 years since we moved here. The people have always been so friendly to me. They always answer questions that I have and they are always there to lead me to the products I am looking for.They have a place where you can sit and read good Health Books and learn about herbs and supplements. If you don't know what to get for a certain ailment, these books offer you advice. If you are finding that modern medicine isn't helping you, there are lots of natural supplements that can help you get back into balance.They offer Massage, Ionic Foot Baths and they have a Health Coach you can make an appointment with for support to help you get back on the right track!They also have a Facebook page that keeps you updated with new products and they will post great articles to help you become more knowledgeable and become healthier!I have known Cathy, Karen and Pam all these years and they are always so nice. They take the time to help you with whatever it is you need.Comfrey Corner of Heath is a great little Health Food Store and I am so grateful that we have a store like this in our area. :)

Wow, such a gem!! They have the best selection of supplements in the area for great prices. The ladies who work there are very knowledgeable. I was greeted by friendly smiles and excellent customer service. :) Their probiotic selection is especially good. Plenty to chose from and all the best quality. I just purchased a new product at Comfrey Corner and it is such a great snack. I am gluten free and sugar free and it is so hard to find good snacks. The product I purchased is called Cheese Crisps, oven baked, not fried. It has sunflower, pumpkin and flax seeds. Healthy and good tasting. I will purchase this product again.

I've always had a good experience shopping here. I get some supplements, usually when I can't wait and need them quickly, because they are priced high. The parking lot is kinda small, but it's not usually overly busy, so it's not a problem. It's a convenient location and the staff are pretty helpful if you have questions or need help finding something.

Awesome products, some more pricey than others. Not to bad. The customer service is pretty awful. 7 out of the 8 times I've been there the women have been awful. It's only the last time they've been remotely kind. Hope it's for the good. If they weren't the only local health food store with their huge selection I wouldn't stopped going after the second time.

The worst customer experience of my life. I have gone to this store since I was a small child. I have a minor lavender allergies and had smelled some lavender and sneezed into my jacket. One of the workers scolded me and showed me to sneeze into my hand. Mind you if i followed her instruction all my germs would be on everything i touched. Nobody offered to help me or my mother while we were there. Once my mother did ask for advice on CBD oil a different employee treated my mother as if she was going to find a way to abuse it and told her QUOTE “i don’t use those kind of things” and had another women help my mother who asked her why she wanted it. They are not what they use to be and if you don’t wanna encounter three Karens i recommend making the drive somewhere else.

Comfry Corner has a lot of great organic products and the customer service was excellent. I had a lot of questions about various products in the store and I was always greeted with a friendly smile and had all of my questions answered. I am so thankful to have found Comfry Corner. I was able to find everything I needed in one place. I highly recommend this store and will definitely be going back when I in town.

Wanted to raise alfalfa sprouts again. Checked with Whole Foods and they wanted $3.99 for a 30 gram pack. Comfrey has 4 oz. for $5.99 and the Mason jar lid. It would have cost $15.96 for the approximate amount Comfry offers. Good Form!

😡😡 to the lady at comfrey corner you were extremely rude to me. I will no longer take my business to you. All I did was ask for advice and you acted as if I was some little pregnant girl with no brain and walked away from me in the middle of me speaking!!!!! I hope you see this. When I was there I didn't say anything because there was another girl who was super sweet and made up for your sour attitude. I don't know if its because I went in wearing shorts and a t-shirt with my hair pulled back and no wedding rings because my hands are to swollen! You treated me like a piece of gum on the bottom of your dirty old sneaker..SERIOUSLY NEVER GOING BACK!!!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!! other then the ONE younger girl behind the counter who actually acted as if she was scared of you!!! Man I wish I would have got your name!!! I pray the next person you see you treat with some respect!!!!!!

Very poor customer service. Walked through the store without anyone ever greeting me or asking what I was looking for. The staff seriously acted like they couldn't care less that a customer was there and honestly its shocking this place even stays open! There are never any cars in the parking lot so they should be stoked that someone actually had the intention to shop there. Needless to say I just ended up ordering online instead of wasting my time here.

Great selection but TERRIBLE prices! I stopped in and got a supplement which I thought seemed pricey, but it was my first time buying it so I wasn't sure. Looked it up online later and found it for $10 less on amazon. While I was there I also looked at another supplement I take and theirs was $12 more for the same exact thing at my local health store in Mt Vernon!

The person that answered the phone was not very helpful. She didn't even know when I asked for Floradex what it was and said you did not carry it. when I knew you did as I have gotten it there before.I asked if she could get the tablets for me and she said she would have to wait until someone else got there which would have been 4 days later to order the product. Did not know how much it would be or when it would be in. It is very difficult to deal with a person when then are not helpful. I will continueto call for products but not when that person answers the phone. Not pleasant at all.
