We had a great experience boarding with Big Woods. They made it incredibly easy for us as newcomers to boarding. When we picked up our pup, she was happy and had been bathed. We would definitely board with them again.

Took my two German Shepherd dogs for their grooming services and they did a fantastic job. The ladies were very nice and friendly. Our pups weren't very cooperative being in a new environment but the staff were very patient and understanding. They are very reasonably priced and I definitely would recommend taking your fur babies.

We take our dog here about twice a year. They are great people and our dog loves going here. He's always happy to see them. It's worth the 50 minute drive for us.

Dropping my dogs off I thought was going to be a great start to my vacation with my family, including my brother who is in the service and had not seen since Christmas. Well that was quickly shot down once the second day came around and I got a call from them saying that my dog was sick with diarrhea, and that I had to come and pick them up or if I had family to come and pick them up. I told her that we where new to the area and had no family near by and that I was 8 1/2 hours away in the smokey mountains of NC. She just proceeded to tell me that I had to pay more than for extra cleaning.... and that she was gonna have to call a mobile vet out to check them out. I agreed to pay the vet bill, but not to the extra cleaning because that is there JOB!!! You cannot charge or add on anything to my bill that I singed already. Plus just some diarrhea? REALLY? Well I have French Bulldogs and they are already very sensitive as is, so it was normal for them to get a upset stomach when moved to a new area. Well the older lady that was on the phone with me just gave off a bad oar and killed the start to my vacation. I spent the rest of my 4 days with my family getting voicemails about how my dog was taking up 88% of her time and that it was just NOT GOOD. That she had never seen anything like this before and she had to take care of other dogs as well not just mine.... I'm sorry I didn't know picking up after dogs was not apart of owning a kennel? Once I came back and got my dogs ready she had all my Dogs washed and groomed, that was a plus, BUT she was going to throw away there toys and blankets! All because they had pooped.... Not a big deal to me I can wash them myself BUT you will NOT throw away things that I pay for! She ended up not charging a cleaning fee because she "felt bad". Could have done such a better job with how she handled the situation. Ended up costing me an extra $200 almost for the vet bill.... when I could have had that taken care of once I got home.... All in all my dogs are home they are fine but I will NOT BE COMING BACK!

Most importantly, our dogs are happiest with this kennel, and we have tried several. Owner and staff are friendly and competent.
