If no have never gone to a reputable E&H Ace Hardware with the best STIHL section in the store I have ever seen, then this IS the place to go. I just purchased a STIHL chainsaw. Their technician, Mike, was the best! He will fill the saw up with fuel and start it up to make sure you are ready to go. I will always come back to Garrettsville for all my STIHL needs.

Recently bought a house, have been into the store many times looking for items, not necessarily knowing what I needed. Charlotte has always been so extremely helpful, she's very courteous and knowledgeable. She always takes the time to show me what I need and help answer my questions. That store would be LOST without her! Charlotte is a TRUE asset! Thank you Charlotte, your the BEST!

They're a bit pricier & by that I mean in regards to Walmart & Amazon, but their products & customer service {employees} are what makes me choose them over both those honestly. I've always been asked if I needed help - even multiple times & they're always busy either cleaning up, or helping & just seem to have a good atmosphere when you walk in. So I'm ok paying more for certain things when you know the employees are truly working for the customers.

On Monday I bought some plumbing items. Everything went well so I gave the a 5 stsr rating and a good review. On Tuesday I get a notification that I won a gift from Ace Hardware. The notification sent me to a page with Ace Hardware logo and name. They asked me to fill out a survey. Again the survey was all about my experiences at Ace Hardware. I was to receive a 270 piece Stanley Tool set just pay the shipping charge of $9.99. They immediately charged my credit card for the $9.99 that was supposed to be for shipping. Then it notifies me that I have been entered for a chance to win the tool set. But not till after they run the credit card.. They scammed me out of money for shipping. Ace Hardware let this company use their name and logo and represent themselves as Ace Hardware. This all was misleading and dishonest at very best.

Great little but super busy hardware store. I normally go to Newton Falls but this location was the only one in an hour radius of me that had all the items I wanted in stock. Curbside was perfect, young man was extra careful loading heavy items in my backseat and he was friendly!! I will be back to browse you find the best items at Ace and each store seems to have their own personal touch items for sale.

Great staff and always friendly willing to help you out when looking for something and make suggestions if your not what you need to make repairs. Service is above and beyond. Thank you.Edit: 7/26/2023 I went in again today and same great service. The one thing you can depend on with ACE and this store is their consistency. They got me in and out. I needed longer screws for a project I was working on. Thanks again I will be back.

Went in to to look for a new string trimmer. The Stihl shop is amazing and Wes was super helpful. while other stores had just a few trimmers to choose from, Garrettsville Ace had dozens. This store is an asset to our little town! Great brands, great people. Just what I need, when I need it.

Always happy when I walk in there, the store in Garrettsville, Ohio. Their customer service is an A+ in my book. The gentleman who helped me today, Casey Everett was so pleasant and knowledgeable. They make you feel very comfortable in their store and make sure the customer is satisfied before they leave.

There is not a more friendly, knowledgeable, and honest staff at any hardware store I have ever been to. I brought my chainsaw there expecting a costly engine rebuild. They had it back to me within a week, finding that it was something very minor. Many other places could have taken advantage and just rebuilt it. Thank you again, Jon

Nice local hardware store. They don't have every little thing but they do have a lot of things for such a small store. It's bigger than it looks. Nice friendly staff some of which have been there for over 30 yearsThat says it all in a nut shell. I definitely recommend a stop for most all your hardware needs.....

Purchased item Sunday. Tried to exchange Wednesday and told no. Didn't have receipt and not a rewards member so nothing they could do on a $20 piece. Item unopened and still in their packaging. Guess I will go to other hardware

Good store. Prices are a little high on some items, but that is to be expected at a small local store. Staff is very helpful. They can cut to order, fix small engines, make keys, and sharpen blades as well.

Garrettsville Ace is NOT the place it used to be. I have been doing business with this store for over 40 years. Since it was bought out the place has gone to pots. I have not seen Lee, the store manager, around for a couple months. I called the verify they had specific gas fittings on stock. When I went there the person I spoke with left 2 hours earlier than what he said so there was no one working who knew where the fittings were. Some hillbilly came out of the side room and started mouthing off so I left. I am glad I did. I went to Cleveland Plumbing in Middlefield. The same items were half the price! ( Gas valve: $10 @ G-Ville Ace, less than $5 @ Cleve Plumbing). And I did not have to explain to him what a Flare Nut was.A couple of weeks ago I referred a buddy of mine to them to buy a chainsaw. He went there as was told the saw guys were too busy to talk with him and to come back another time. The employees don't care or understand there paycheck comes from providing customer service and meeting expectations. There are multiple places to purchase the same products and be treated fairly. It will be a LONG TIME BEFORE I GO BACK TO THIS PLACE, IF EVER.

The salesman was quite knowledgeable about the parts my husband was looking for. He didn't seem hurried, or impatient at all. He was patient, and was able to answer all the questions.

Enormous ace hardware. I got lost in this store. Not enough staff for its size. Everything is about double the price of going to menards or home depot. Only go when I absolute need something at that moment and cant wait. 22 bucks for a gfci is armed robbery but when your in a pinch you have to.

AJ is AMAZING!!..BUT I did not get to deal with him this trip.gentlman in the shop was not much help just took my trimmer after trying to start it and had me leave itAJ..can figure it out in a sec and I go home all fixed..This time no idea when I will get it back..Miss AJ and his amazing customer service..just saynCashier in front was very service oriented personality to the nines..she would get 10 stars

This is a great old school hardware store. Anything and everything you could ever need. If they don't have it, they can find it for ya! Really love the old fashion feel that it has.
