Today makes the third time I’ve been in this store and been treated rudely by a mouthy cashier. (Same older lady with curly grey hair) Brought items to the front that I found on a shelf, some had prices and some did not and got accused of pulling them out of a bag or taking them from somewhere I shouldn’t have in front of the whole line of customers. Also stated that they throw away small toys and Figures, they don’t have time to fool with them, so rather than letting me buy it, they took it and she said they would throw it away. It was an Imaginext toy and not garbage, so your small toy donations go in the trash….what a waste. Other employees have been nice but this woman seems bent on being loud and rude to everyone she encounters, she even embarrassed a new employee. Very disappointing. I Will be sending something to corporate as well.

This Goodwill is getting better all the time. It is well organized and my daughter and I find unique items here. We like exploring this Goodwill and it is clean. Some items I feel are overpriced but overall good value for your money.

Rudest costumer service at I’ve ever seen. I brought in tons of good name brand clothes bc I cleared out my closet. My hands were full and I couldn’t see the sign that read bring clothes in through the back. I proceeded to walk all my bags of clothes to the back of the store to get rudely confronted and told I’m stupid and pretty much incompetent of reading a sign. Will never come here again and I hope the women I encountered gets a job where she will never have to speak to anyone bc that women has no respect for others, herself or her establishment’s reputation

love goodwill period, they normally have monitors, printers, ect. Good for doing some work that requires 2-3 monitors.

Was shopping for a few things only to find out they charge almost as much as a regular store. Shame a company that is getting all proceeds through donations trying to make quadruple profits. A sweatshirt for 20 dollars a fake purse for 60 dollars. I don't think so

Rude as can be! Went in today and didn't have a mask on apparently I should have been able to see the sign on the door demanding customers to wear a mask. Keeping in mind the doors are plastered in notices and job advertisements so picking out the mask requirement was near impossible. Funny thing is the first clerk never said a word. Not just me but most all of the customers didn't have masks on so when the next lady took over she decided to assert her authority and be very rude to my children and I and tell us that we need to wear a mask or leave. We left and I will not be back. Kudos Goodwill of Gallipolis 👏👏👏

I love the variety here! I never know what I'm going to find, but I can guarantee I will find something that I just can't live without! The staff are friendly and attentive. There is a positive atmosphere to the store and the staff doesn't act hum drum, like they have to be there or hate their jobs. There are always nice things in stock. The only thing negative I have to say is I wish they had cheaper prices, somethings price-wise are cheaper new at Walmart.

I had almost decided not to come over to this Goodwill as the reviews on here had me nervous. I was shocked when I went inside... very very reasonable prices. I picked up two shirts, one for $1.99 on sale and another for $3.49. Also they have VHS tapes for 10 cents a piece which is 90 cents cheaper than most other goodwills. Wonderful staff, the lady working was SO nice.

Been all over the country and went to this store. I was wearing a clear plastic face shield type mask. After picking several things to purchase, browsing all around the store for about 20 minutes, and nearing the register when a rude employee approached me and told me my mask wasn't good enough. A plastic face shield type of mask is accepted everywhere else but not here???? The sign on the door says face masks required but does not specify any particular type of mask. A mask is a mask. But not here. How ridiculous and running off customers. My money went out the door with me and I spent it somewhere else.

They are hardly ever open and when they are there prices are high. They also still have mask mandate when no other Goodwill does. Which is fine but the fact that the employees are extremely rude was very uncalled for honestly this location needs to be shut down

First ever store that requires babies under 1 to mask up or leave. Policy stricter than the state. Even when I said vienna OH goodwill follow the state policy of masking for 12 and over. I will delete this review when someone tells me this ridiculous rule is lifted. This district has 6 stores, just to let other moms be aware.

This store just keeps going downhill…. I doubt I’ll ever walk into another goodwill store…. They are not community friendly, it’s all about high prices on things donated

Went here awhile back. The frumpy woman with dark hair was unbelievably rude. So I called corporate and they said they get complaints on her all the time. Awful service

For a thrift store, their prices were very high. I LOVE to shop at thrift stores, but I can honestly say that I will not ever return to this one. Don't even waste your time, it isn't worth it.
