The price is a bit high BUT, our dogs love going there. It's always clean, the kennels are roomy and I love that the dogs have access to the outdoors even when in the kennel. We've boarded our dogs there for 8+ years and have never had any issues. Would highly recommend if you want your pet well taken care of.

UPDATE: Months later and we have continued to tell our story and to warn people from ever boarding their animal here. I've read more and more reviews stating the exact same things we had issues with. It makes me sick to my stomach to know that so many animals are being mistreated. I feel like the owners had a fantastic idea but maybe it's the people working for them that make it so awful. Do yourself a favor, do not waste your time reading their website because it is nothing and I mean nothing like what it says. Do not be naive and think "I'll give them a shot" seriously, read the other reviews and you'll see for yourself. It's a waste of money and your dog will be better off elsewhere.I was beyond disappointed in this place. What they advertised and what we received were to very different things. On their website it says the dogs will have access to indoor/outdoor digging areas, interaction with other dogs, pools etc. They made it seem like heaven for a 10 month old beagle mix which is why we decided to board with them. Boy do I regret that!We went for the walk thru and I should have went with my gut feeling and went elsewhere. But I didn't and my poor dog had to suffer. We asked the lady about what the website mentioned and she had no clue what we meant! She said it was to the owners discretion. But we went with them anyway. The rooms are really good sized and I loved that he had access the patio area if he wanted. He would be fine, right?We went to pick him up and as we were walking towards him he stood there looking so sad and lonely. We opened the door to walk towards him and his ears lowered, he hunkered down and backed away from us and peed everywhere as if he was scared. He then realized it was us and came running and whining so excited to see us. I know my dog and he is the type that if we go on walks or go to the pet store he runs to everyone and anyone. He is not one to be afraid of someone. To see him this way broke my heart. My first thought was "what did they do to you?"When we dropped him off we told them he may destroy his bed and that it was okay if he did to just discard it. They ended up taking it from him and putting it in a trash bag even tho nothing was done to it. He had to sleep on a thin blanket on the hard ground the entire time. Unacceptable! We sent dog treats, toys and bones with him. It looked like he hadn't touched them at all in the 5 days he was there. This is the dog who can destroy a rawhide in 1 day. For him to not touch anything we sent is just not him.I promise I am not one of those crazy dog owners who are never happy. I'm very easy to please. But to find my dog smelling of urine and terrified and lonely when I paid $30 a day for him to be taken care of is not okay. This place claims to be great with your animals yet my dog received unacceptable care and I will never recommend this place to anyone. He would have been better off staying home by himself and having a friend take him outside.If you are considering this place please do not board your dog here.

Such friendly, honest, and polite staff. They really treat you like family here. My Baby has always hated groomings and i have had her sent home without her feet being trimmed. But not here, she is well taken care of at every appt. 10/10 would recommend.

We take our sweet dog Zoey here for grooming and we board her here when we go out of town. She loves the people here and they take very good care of her! When we pull in the driveway, she can't wait to get out of the car. We've used their services for several years and I wouldn't take her anywhere else!

My dog loves going to Grammie's. She became so stressed at the last place I took her that she wouldn't let the tech take her out of the kennel after grooming. She also barked and growled at one of the staff who had said that he bathed her, so we stopped going there.My dog has been both groomed and boarded at Grammie's. She always seems relaxed and happy when I pick her up from boarding and she greets the staff like friends when we arrive. I have seen no evidence of neglect as stated by other reviewers.Be sure to ask about their hours and their rates ahead of time.

I am only giving one star because I have to rate at least that. Before you board for the first time there, they ask for a meet and greet. Understandable. The meet and greet was horrible. The lady who waited on us was stressful, rude and a nightmare. Any time she spoke, our dog peed. He wouldn't stop pacing. She chewed me out several times for allowing him to pee. But if I looked away from her to distract my dog she told me it was difficult for her to talk to me when I wasn't looking at her.We continued on with the tour and she took us to a room next to a dog that she labeled aggressive. Then proceeded to yell at us for looking at the aggressive dog and told us we were riling him up. I really don't have words for this experience. I was dumbfounded that someone who advertises as a dog lover would behave in such a manner. At the end, she put her head in her hands and asked if we could come back for another meet and greet with the owner because she found us disturbing. We said we'd just look for a different place to board.There were many more things with this meet and greet that were just absurd for a business to do to a prospective customer. There is no way that I could have relaxed on vacation while allowing my dog to stay at such a facility. It was not clean, The overgrowth of the grounds was horrible and the employee told me that all dogs were walked on a leash for about 5 minutes and never let to run as advertised.

We have been boarding our dog Max for several years at Grammies. Max has special needs. He takes medication and is fed twice per day through a large syringe for a bad stomach. This takes extra time and Jenny has always made sure that Max is well taken care of and we have never had any problems. Max is scheduled to stay 3 times at Grammies this year.

When I came to get my dog he looked very scared and sad. He started to back away when we opened the door to see him. It looked like no one paid any attention to him at all. For the price we paid and for what they advertised were two different things. They say they get interaction with other dogs but that never happened. We gave him a gallon sized zip lock bag of treats and none of them were given to him. We gave him a bed and told them if he destroyed the bed it was ok, but they took his bed away and it didn't look like he tore it up at all. This place advertises that they are great to your pets but that was far from the truth.

At no time did they tell me it was a cash only business. I had a cat boarded here for 3 weeks and the bill was sizable. I'm from out of state, did not have a checkbook or that amount of cash. I was forced to get cash advance on my credit card in town. They're hours are bizarre and they're very rude. I had one lady wagging her finger in my face telling me it was my fault for not asking up front if they took credit cards! I noticed another customer had a problem while I was there with billing. Also, as far as boarding, they neglect the animals from my point if view. They're not cared for or loved as they lead you to believe. I would emphatically say avoid this place.

Just love grammies!! Clean!! Such a sweet staff!! No cages they have large rooms. Our cat and dog loves it here. We will never board any place else. 🐕🐈💗💗💗💗💗

I boarded three cat's with Grammies. The decision to have to board them or give them up was made for me when I walked in the door. It was a very difficult situation that was made so much easier by the entire family at Grammies. I was recommended by a friend and as a friend I would highly, and have, recommend Grammies.!!!

We have a very persnickety cat. When my cat comes, they know her and provide a place for her to "hide" by placing a blanket over the cat climber. I am grateful for Grammies as I feel less guilty for leaving our pet behind.

Dog's were not well cared for , showed signs of being left alone for way too long ! Dog's and their blankets were soaked with what we thought was water , however turned out to be urine. It was very apparent that they were locked inside with no one to care for them for an extended period of time. I will never return to this location.

This place and the owners do an outstanding job. It is very dog friendly. I wouldnt take my 15 and 14 year old dog anywhere else. It is usually full so a lot of people must agree with me.
