100% Recommend! Dr Chen and all the staff were amazing! All the staff was friendly and caring. Dr. Chen was down to earth (sat on the floor with my puppy); he received all of his shots and exam without noticing. Dr Chen answered all of my questions and gave several recommendations. I never felt rushed. My only regret, is not coming here sooner!

My dog has been going there for years and I must say that every interaction and visit has been amazing. They are without a doubt the friendliest and most caring staff I’ve ever encountered. Dr Chen provided care recently and it was remarkable. She was so caring and sweet to my sick dog. She got on the floor with him, brought water and food and tried to get him to eat- when he wouldn’t eat she left the room to warm up the food to try to entice him more. I’ve never encountered a Veterinarian that committed and caring. Dr Chen made decisions that helped heal my dog when I thought we were going to lose him. I need to give a big thanks to Dr Chen and the other staff members Amanda, Kelly, Callie, and Lindsey for providing such great care. Thank you all!

My dogs have been patients of Dr. McGuffin for over 20 years. On Friday afternoon when I discovered an itchy lump on the side of my dog’s neck, I was scheduled for an end of day appointment with Dr. Christine (who we had never met). Her examination and explanations were thorough and unhurried. It was great to meet Dr. Christine…I was extremely happy with the care Chandler received, especially appreciated at the end of a busy week. Dr. Christine is an excellent addition to a wonderful staff at Riverside Animal Care Center!

Chose a vet that offered wholistic options for the future. Acupuncture is offered here. I would highly recommend Dr. Chen. Our dog needed to be spade. There are 2 options. I chose the one with much shorter healing time. It does cost more to do it this way. Dr. Chen post surgery was thorough, friendly and explained everything. The technicians and staff are very nice. It is peace of mind knowing you are getting great responsive care.

Not only did Dr. Gina Doss perform a stellar canine extraction on my pup Zuco, but her entire staff also demonstrated exceptional friendliness and support. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that immediately put both Zuco and me at ease.Their friendly and accommodating approach continued throughout our visit. I moved to Dublin 2 years ago and landed at Riverside as the new vet for my two pups. They always address them by name as soon as we walk in the door, show the upmost compassion, are extremely knowledgeable and have fantastic customer service. I also appreciate that I have absolutely always been able to get them in to be seen when illness happens vs. being told they're too busy to squeeze us in which I often encountered at our old vet. Very thankful to have such an amazing facility so close to me that makes me feel like they love my boys as much as I do!

This was the best veterinary care my dog has ever had! We have had a couple mediocre places in the past and 1 very negative experience, so I was nervous to have to take my anxious pup to yet another new vet. I was blown away by how caring and knowledgeable everyone was, especially Dr. Kmietsch!! As long as it stays this way, I am finally done with my search for veterinary care :)

My cats have been patients at this clinic since 2013. We moved to the east side of Columbus in 2018 but I still take them here because the service, the doctors, and the atmosphere are all excellent.I especially love the "cat friendly" methods of being taken directly to an exam room upon arrival and in-room checkout. We've never had to sit in the waiting room where other pets or people might make my cats more nervous.

Me and my pup, Kobi, came here for the first time this week. Everyone who works here was so nice and welcoming. They really took their time to provide care for my puppy and answered all of my questions. Dr Doss was so great with Kobi and gave me so much information to make me feel confident in being a first time puppy mom. The visit was also very reasonably priced. They even called a few days later to ask how Kobi is doing since she wasn't feeling the best this week. I feel like they truly care about the animals they see!

We recently boarded our cat, Delia, with RACC. A few days before we were supposed to leave on vacation, she had a recurrence of a serious inner ear infection with vertigo so severe she could barely walk. Her condition was stable, but we were still very nervous about leaving her, as she was weak and on two daily medications (both pills). RACC was amazing with her! They made sure she had a safe place where she couldn't fall, they administered her medications with no issues, and they updated us on her care. We could not be happier with our experience, and we already have reservations to board Delia the next time we're traveling. Highly recommended!!

Dr. Kmietsch is an absolute godsend. Beyond her clear and genuine love for animals, she without a doubt possesses the immense knowledge that it takes to adequately care for and treat their ailments. Our pit mix, Georgia, was having severe bowel issues to the point where my wife and I were extremely concerned for her well-being. We made an appointment and showed up at Riverside Drive Animal Care the following afternoon. When we got to our room for the appointment, my wife and I were greeted with a smile by Dr. Kmietsch who made sure to love on our sweet Georgia while asking us questions about her current condition. Within 30 minutes, Dr. Kmietsch and her team had Georgia tested, diagnosed, and prescribed the proper antibiotics. After administering the first dose of antibiotics, I am happy to report that Georgia’s symptoms improved dramatically and she was well on her way back to her old clumsy self. Due to the excellent care we received from Dr. Kmietsch, we decided to take our other dog Izzie in to see her a few weeks later. I am happy to share that she was also treated with the same genuine compassion and care. We will continue to bring our dogs for treatment to Riverside animal care as long as Dr. Kmietsch is there!

We continuously have a great experience at Riverside Animal clinic. We have typically worked with Dr. Chen and Dr. Graham for our dog and they are both so very kind and informative. My dog truly loves coming here for both checkups and boarding, and during a recent surgery for my dog they gave us incredible care and tons of great information to care for him upon arriving back home.

Unfortunately my vet moved out of state, Dr Gonzales was the best. Decided to stay with this office and try another vet. Almost got hustled into an unnecessary office visit and/or vaccines after multiple interactions.I spoke with Callie and she acknowledged mistakes were made and wanted to make it right. However I don’t agree with the recommendation of restarting puppy vaccines if they were administered prior to weaning, which is their protocol.

As a relatively new patient (less than a year), I continue to be shocked at the level of quality customer service I've received thus far at Riverside compared to my previous vet office. One specific example occurred recently when we had scheduled to board our dog (at another facility, mind you) and that facility requires the optional canine influenza vaccine, which was unknown to me at the time. When it came time to confirm our boarding details ahead of our Thanksgiving travel, I realized our dog did not have that vaccination. I was upset, worried I'd have to cancel our holiday travel plans, and called Riverside Animal Care to see if there was anyway they could squeeze us in. They not only accommodated our needs, but also called our boarder to confirm which vaccines our dog had/didn't have and why. They were able to come to an agreement (without making it my problem to solve) and we were able to board our dog without issue. When we returned to town after the holidays, we scheduled an appointment to get up to date on our vaccines, they exceeded expectations again. They did not charge us for the cost of meeting with the vet, only for the cost of the vaccines. I continue again and again to be impressed by their willingness to go the extra mile and make their customer's lives easier. Special shout-out to Dr. Gastier and the vet tech, Heather, for making sure we could still see our family this Thanksgiving!

Been a client here for a long time and love Dr Doss! Had an unfortunate experience with one of the other vets 6 months ago while putting my dog down which made a terrible time even more stressful, BUT that Dr is the exception. The rest of the staff are so kind. Was also there when my sister put her dog down and Dr Torchia could not have been any kinder to us and same for the wonderful staff. I have read that it’s hard for vets to maintain their mental health because they deal with so much grief and I can believe it. It was clear that Dr. T and the staff were so sad for us . Overall I highly recommend .

Since I have moved to Columbus in 2017 this has been my go to vet. With all three of my pets (2 dogs, 1 cat) they have been nothing but reliable and caring every step of the way. Unfortunately I’ve had two pets also cross the rainbow bridge here (both not going without a true fight from this staff) and they have been so caring and compassionate. I’ve moved about 20 minutes away from RACC since I’ve moved to Columbus but this is this the ONLY vet I will take my remaining dog to. I cannot speak highly enough of this staff. What’s best is that I’ve never had a bad experience from any of the vets so I know regardless of who I make an appointment with, I know he will in the best hands. Thank you so much for everything you do.

I have always had a great experience here, whether it be for routine check-ups or emergency visits. Both Dr. Doss and Dr. Gastier stand out to me as great doctors. I especially like how Dr. Gastier uses your name and literally gets down on your level. It makes it really personal and affirms that you are being heard. This vet is not the cheapest, but it is definitely worth it. Many times my animals have had to come in for emergencies and the staff has been waiting arms open to take them back and care for them. This practice also calls to check in on pets after visits. It is reassuring to know that they do care how your pet is doing after the fact. Highly, highly recommend.
