I went to this store specifically to see a chinchilla that I had called ahead to make sure they had. When I was in the store, the manager said I wasn't able to pet or hold the chin, due to "children may come into the store and I'd have to allow them to hold the animal too." I said that I couldn't even see the chin, as he was hiding under a "hide" in his cage, but the manager said that was too bad. "But you expect me to buy the animal sight unseen?" The manager just shrugged. I left. Poorest service ever!!! Boo.(I went to PetSmart at Easton for their chinchillas; had EXCELLENT service and purchased one after holding and making a connection with him. Thanks PetSmart!!)

Would be nice if the place was ever open. Showed up at 9am when they are supposed to be open and walked up to a sign saying staffing issues and adjusted hours of operation so I would have had to wait for 2 hours. Had a few more people try to get in and they said they tried to come the night before and the store was closed early. Doesn’t make sense that a chain pet store like this would be able to open and close whenever they want. Just sitting in the parking lot for a few minutes after trying to get in there has been 5 people trying to shop. Would recommend just shopping somewhere else.

Staff members were immediately helpful and personable the second I walked in. Helped me find exactly what I was looking for and gave some advice. I am now a proud mouse Mom of two beautiful mice.Although as we were checking out, another employee (older, manager maybe) shouted towards the employee (younger) who was helping me and was slightly rude.

Friendly staff and great products. I love some of the more unique treat options that they have available and the adorable frosted cookies for dogs. They have a very small fish selection, the tanks are generally very clean and fish are healthy. They have a great selection of dry cat and dog foods with a wide range of price points. Plenty of parking and very easy to see from Hamilton Rd. Heads up as of recently (April 2021) there is some road construction happening causing some congestion.

If you live in the new Albany or Gahanna area then you need not look any further for your pet store. Unlike most big box traditional retailers or the wildly overpriced Mutts and Co, this place actually has a soul and cares about their customers. The staff is incredibly friendly, always helpful, load up the heavy dog food for my wife and they price match without hesitation or argument. Their selection of dog food is expansive and they even have breed-specific varieties in brands like Royal Canine. If you have been going anywhere else then make the change and if you are new to the area then start here.

They have a great selection of dog and cat food. The dog toys are reasonably priced. My four legged fur babies love the cow hoofs. My favorite thing is the mobile pet clinic for vaccinations.

I ordered online. A sent a friend to pick it up. It was for the wrong age cat. He told them. They refused to make it right. They told him that he would have to buy the right one. He had no money or card. They would not exchange it. I'm done with them. It's pet co or pet smart from now on.

I drive about twenty minutes just to shop at this location.Great frozen raw selection, which is why I shop here.Clean store and friendly staff, though most Pet Supply Plus's are like that.The rewards program is great, better than some other pet store competitors. Though it could be easier to redeem them (not having to log in and get a coupon code) it's not difficult or time consuming.👍

I love this store! The employees are always willing to help if anyone has questions, and to point out the quality of items versus the price rather than just trying to get as much money from you as possible. They seem to actually care about their animals, I have yet to see a dead fish left in a tank on display. The store is always clean and organized. I highly recommend ÷]

I had a great experience. I was converting my terrarium into an aquarium set up, and a clerk told me all I needed to know to get the perfect Betta fish into a comfy abode. He took all the time we needed to answer all our questions. It turns out, he was a Betta enthusiast, and his excitement about it was infectious.

Buy my dragon & turtle food here every time its needed. The customer service is never great. No one is 'chipper' when you enter although they do greet you. Tonighy, I needed 100 large crickets & turtle good. When paying, the machine repeatedly said present card or to insert card. I inserted multiple times, the screen didn't change. I tried tapping, nothing. The guy ringing me out never even acknowledged that it wasn't working. When I asked if it was going through, he turned his head around asked "is there enough money on it?" I responded with "absolutely, is the machine working?" He told me they've only ever had this problem 1 time & walkied to another guy. He then told me to "move over here im gonna have to suspend the order to do them" referring to the people in line behind me. The other guy came up, checked out the next lady whose card would not tap either but did insert. I tried again & a new screen that did not come up last time that it was processing said "approved" ... this has kind of been my experience here the last year & I will no longer be back.

My mom helps dog rescues and providing food for them gets EXPENSIVE! (especially not being billionaires as much as we would like to be! ) and the associates have been extremely helpful with finding products that are affordable and healthy for the furbabies

Literally the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’m catsitting for my sister who is out of town and she ordered some more food for her kitty. After getting home from work around 8:30 I see that the food hasn’t been delivered and I couldn’t get ahold of my sister either. I called the store and they said they were waiting on approval for a substitution since one of the sizes my sister ordered was out of stock.I got everything resolved but they close at 9 so they called me at 9:02 and said the delivery service won’t be able to make it out. The girl I spoke to on the phone said she would personally drop it off! That’s seriously going above and beyond. 10000% recommend this place. :)
