I come here routinely and I usually always have a good experience. I came here Wednesday the 24th of April 2024 at 1pm. I got greeted by the cashier and she didn't even look up from her phone to look at me. She said hello while staring down, which was honestly quite rude. Then when I was checking out, she just seemed like she hated her life. She asked me if I had a membership number which I told her the number and then she just proceeded to tell me my total. I asked her if the membership popped up then she got sort of an attitude and said the name to me. How am I supposed to know she found them membership if she doesn't let me know? I will say the lady that greeted me in the back, trying to help me find my cat litter was very sweet, and I liked her a lot.

We got a few needed items for good prices. However, they had dead and dying hermit crabs basking under a heat lamp with dry wood chips and no pool. No moisture. Sad to see, but I can’t blame everyone for not knowing how to care for them. I tried to offer a few suggestions, but the manager being completely distant and uncaring on her phone and w/ her Starbucks is something they can fix.I rescued the only big crab they had, even though he had a broken leg. You can tell he’s instantly happier to be in a much better environment. No other pet store has an enclosure like this, please add them a pool and damp sand/substrate. I truly hope the call to customer support brings changes!

While the store has a decent selection, customer service is sorely lacking.My first encounter involved a cashier who prioritized their phone over acknowledging my presence, leaving me waiting awkwardly until they finished texting.On another visit, I sought help from a group of associates gathered near the front, only to be met with an uncomfortable silence and no offer of assistance.It's clear that proper customer service isn't being emphasized by management, which is a shame considering the potential of this store.

It's one of the few places I can find my dog food. Prices are comparable if buying online. They have a rewards program & staff always friendly & helpful.

It always amazes me how different locations of the same store can be so different. I went to this location today, 8/4/2022, and was grossed out and felt bad for the animals. I went in for crickets and canned cat food but didn't end up buying anything. The guinea pigs had ZERO water in their bottles. The skinny pig next to the regular ones, not only had ZERO water but it also didn't have a single scrap of food. There was condensation all over the filthy glass on the guinea pig cages. The bedding in their cages looked pee soaked, smashed down, and repulsive. The leopard geckos also had ZERO water in their giant bowl. In my experience, any of these Pet Supplies Plus locations that used to be PetValu, are usually disgusting and this one is no exception. Go to the Grove City location if you want to see clean, healthy looking cages.

It looks like a very well stocked store for animal needs. I gave 4 stars because I took my grandson (autistic) in so he could pet a dog or cat. There was only one kitty 😞

Temp UPDATE: if you use this location's dog wash, call first before loading your pup(s) to see if the dog washes are back open. They had a small fire and are in the process of getting final approval from the fire inspector to reopen all of the bays. I will update when I know, but someone else may find out before I circle back in a couple of days. Fingers crossed it won't be long!!The store is gorgeous, all the products are "fronted" and lined up perfectly. I'm always greeted when I walk in and help is also always offered in finding product. Employees seem to enjoy working there and it's wonderful pets are allowed inside. I must pet them all! I love getting the member discount AND having dog greeting cards available for purchase it great! I am thrilled to have my new $40 self-serve bath card for 5 washes?! That's less than one wash at my dog's day care (without grooming)! Pics coming soon!!

Fish tanks very dirty dead fish in them won't be back to this location in Canal Winchester however Reynoldsburg location is very clean

Horrible!! I was in today 1/2/23 at around 6pm. Got greeted at the door and was shown where to get service for crickets, okay good. Get back there and the guy is busy with another group but doesn't even acknowledge us or anything, could've at least said be right with you or something. So after 15 mins of nothing I went up front and requested service from the 3 people at the cash register who weren't doing anything. So the same guy who didn't acknowledge us at first, who was also the only person besides groomers doing actual work got around to helping us....he says oh the small crickets are for our animals, like what kind of bs is that!!? Wasted 30 mins of my time, should've just went to PETSMART IN PICKERINGTON who has much better service. Never coming here again and they're the closest pet store to home... oh well I'll go the extra distance for good service

Couldn't get help to get a fish. The 3 employees were too busy sitting on the counter and talking. Dead fish floating and cages needed cleaning... sad. After looking at reviews, it seems to be a norm for this store. Very sad

Very nice red haired girl at the register gave me $15 off my purchase when I asked about price matching! Really excited to come back now as I love helping local businesses and applaud the effort and cooperation with customers!

I’m extremely disappointed in this pet store. I came in several days ago to purchase a snail. I spoke with an associate and picked out a snail that was both advertised and labeled by the employee as a rabbit snail. With confidence, i bought the snail after being told it was a rabbit snail. Instead of a rabbit snail, the store sold me a trumpet snail. Within 1 night, my ONE snail (which was supposed to be a rabbit snail, only capable of having one baby at a time) had 30+ babies. I feel lied to by the associate and now i am stuck with 30+ snails with no idea what to do with them

Pet Supplies Plus offering curb side pickup is so convenient. Canal Winchester's staff are friendly, helpful, and do the heavy lifting plus it is such a time saver. Order on-line, get it same day. Also by being a member of Pet Supplies Plus some items ( such as cat litter) results in rewarding customers with a free one after buying ten. Coupons and percentage off in their weekly ads sure help cut a bit of spending.

Dead fish in every tank, the tanks were dirty and there were 2 kittens in a cage for adoption one had an obvious eye infection. I wanted to take both and give them a life they deserve but I already have 4 cats at home. I was sick to my stomach walking out of that store. It was sickening what’s happening to these animals. I want to apply to work there just to help these animals. It made me so sad
