This store is a really awesome saltwater shop and the fish seem really happy and healthy. Staff is nice and selection is great whether looking for fish, rocks, corals or equipment this shop has it!! We live about 2.5 hours from this store but stop every year when we come into town for the coral show and love visiting this shop so much!! Highly recommended stopping and checking it out.🙂

I have been a customer of Aquatic Technology since i was around 16 and am now 40😳. They have always been extremely helpful and have had everything i need. I recently finished the new reef build of my dreams its finally cycled and ready to rock! Thanks to Greg and staff for all the help!!!!!!!!

I travel all the way across town sometimes just to look at the Mr. Grinch a huge moray eel. I get most of my coral here. My daughter recently bought a panther grouper. I love this place!

Greg and Katie (owner and manager) go out of their way to help and go above and beyond to make sure that their customers are happy. Not only are they great but their prices are amazing! I have found that their prices on both fish and supplies are extremely fair being that most of their competitors charge more for the exact same thing. I highly recommend this store for all your saltwater needs!

This place is definitely the place to go for equipment hands-down. Looking forward to utilizing such a selection as far as marine products. They have some amazing displays as well as some difficult marine fish to find. Macro algae’s, corals, and live rock. Really looking forward to coming around here more often. Wish I had more time when I went. A friendly and knowledgeable staff made the hour drive worth it with great pricing. Greg was wonderful as well and I would love to pick his brain as his knowledge is expansive and he seems straight forward and no nonsense. Top 3 marine stores in the state no question at all. Look forward to my next trip as you have to be a sponge in this career and hobby to succeed and Greg has the knowledge any marine fish keeper would be envious of as well as foolish not to take note of any advice given. Thanks for the great experience glad y’all closed and I had my little one or I would have definitely gone overboard 😂

We love it! We have been going there for many years and everybody is just so nice and helpful. They helped us completely start a wonderful tank from scratch. We have some problems with the fish being aggressive and they gave us a full refund and took him back! All the workers, specifically Greg, the owner and Katie are always so helpful! I would recommend the store over any of the fish stores in the area (including aquatics and rms aquaculture)

This place is awesome. They have the best prices in town and great customer service. I got a new 90 gallon tank from them. Greg the owner actually stayed after closing to help me load it. He did a excellent job of explaining how to hook everything up...being a newbie and not at all mechanically inclined I'm sure that was not easy. The fish are kept in tanks that are treated and their dates of arrival are on all the holding tanks. I always get fish that have been there for over 2 weeks..at least. I cannot say enough good things about it. He has been in the business for a LONG TIME and I suppose that shows in some ways but they really know what they are doing. I'll keep coming back. I always try to support local businesses.

Been going here a long time. I can't say it is perfect here but the staff knows their stuff the fish and corals are healthy. They always have cool stuff. In the end they are there to sell fish and corals. They do that really well. I have read the reviews and some talk about the owner. All my years going out there I can say he has never been bad to me. He is ALWAYS HELPFUL. Yes he can be short but certainly not rude or anything like that. Give the place a chance it's cool. They always have a good selection of used stuff too. You just have to look around educate yourself about what you want to purchase. They have been doing this a long time. They know what they are doing. Yes quarintine your fish from here and EVERYWHERE ELSE TOO...duh! Anyway thanks for the many years of just coming and looking at all your cool stuff. And many many greats fish....

Stopped in yesterday to buy some corals for a newly cycled tank. The girls were more than happy to answer any questions we had and even went out of their way to call the owner to get prices on a few things while he was out. Prices were good/average for the corals I was looking for, can't say for other corals though. All in all excellent customer service will be back again!

I don’t come here often because it’s kinda far from me, but when i do make the hike i enjoy it. Both older Greg and young Greg are very nice and always welcoming to me when I come. Both are also very knowledgeable on fish. Great variety and at a great price.

I was greeted quickly after arriving, The two girls working were busy with cleaning tanks, but it seemed as if there were only two staff members and running and maintaining a store of that size requires time and work. That being said, she stopped what she was doing when I asked for assistance and was very helpful when I was trying to choose my fish and coral. They have a lot of inventory and from what I can tell they are working on expanding and organizing. For my first time out I was pleased with the level of knowledge and how friendly and accommodating they were while I was there. I will definitely be retuning soon, and making this store my full time live stock store.

It was okay. As new reefers we didn’t receive any help. Nobody was walking around, we honestly didn’t see anyone working while we were here and it was filthy. Walking through to look at tanks, we had to step over equipment. Some fish were kept in extremely small tanks. The only blue tang they had looked like it was in a 10 gallon tank. I felt bad. We were interested in one of the tanks but after being there for 20 minutes with nobody around we just decided to leave.

Best fish selection in Ohio, and I’ve been to all of them north of Columbus. 100% survival rate for us. Greg and his son give excellent advice when we need it. I won’t shop anywhere else.

I called the store on a Thursday evening in a panic (I had never been there or called before because it is an hour away from me). The owner Greg answered the phone. I explained to him my dilemma of another fish store on the east side had starting installing my new 90 gallon reef system the night before and they were totally unprepared. They left me Wednesday night late and said they would be back the next day and were no shows. Greg came out the next night after I got off work (drove an hour in a snow storm to my house) and spent 7 hours and completed my whole set up. Explained how everything worked and was extremely helpful. I never met him before. But when I called in a panic he let me FaceTime him so he can see everything that was done and what needed to be finished. He was amazing. He blows the biggest saltwater store in the east side way out of the water with pricing and customer service. I can’t wait to drive out and see his store. Greg you were awesome to come bail me out like you did. I’m extremely appreciative. I look forward to a long lasting business relationship with you. Thank you again.

Walked around trying to buy fish and coral with my son. No one could be bothered to ask if we needed help or anything. When ever we tried to get attention they would turn away. I get it if your busy but we were the only ones in there with 3 people working. When I'm planning to spend 500 plus dollars and cant get help there is a serious problem. Since when is a pet store not helpful?

I passed by this place a few times before deciding to look inside. The tanks with fish in them are not clean and have algae all over the inside and in the pumps, when I tried talking to the guy over the counter, he made it clear that he was too busy and was annoyed. He wouldn't even look up to talk with me when he gave his very short responses. They do have some nice fish but their customer service is why I'll never come back, thanks to "Mr. Personality"

Great place- even better livestock. They have a huge variety of fish other local stores couldn’t even dream of keeping. Knowledgeable staff, and the owner knows his stuff. He said he’s been in the business for over 20 years. The knowledgeable staff and excellent livestock leads to my rating of 5 stars.

This place is amazing. The fish are well kept and tended... nothing looks scrawny or sick. The variety is incredible, the customer service is prompt & informed but non-invasive (I cannot stand the shoe-salesmen approach so I find it perfect). Very comfortable 'at-home' atmosphere, I just love the place. I was nervous to check it out in person after mixed reviews, but made the drive anyway to see for myself. Its obvious that competitors are posting ridiculously slanderous reviews after spending some time there... what a shame people stoop so low. The owner was friendly & brilliant... also easy to talk to. Not rude at all, just to the point. A very accurate & punctual speaker that left a lasting impression. Prices were comparable, with virtually any mix & match possibility right on hand. I wish there were a stronger web presence for people that don't have time to make the drive, but the store is a massive must-see & worth the time to visit. Coral selection is outstanding. A+++ RECOMMEND

Great fish and coral options. Fairly well maintained facility. The owner can come across a bit cold, but is just a quiet guy. Any questions I ask, he and the staff have been helpful and knowledgeable. One of my favorite places to go and just walk around

The owner is horribly rude. I loathe having to speak to him because he is always so negative and constraint acts like he knows all. The owner's son is much nicer. The only reason I have it 2 stars is they often have larger fish that can be difficult to find in some stores.
