Exceptionally large Walmart. Very busy for a Sunday afternoon. We were looking for winter coats and hats, but since it's April, it seems there were only spring jackets and baseball hats available. We ended up getting other travel necessities that we didn't bring enough of like tissues, snacks, spring water, and some makeup. Cashier Bryan was efficient and bagged quickly.Lots of parking. Just watch out for the random carts left everywhere.Ok shopping experience. Would return here if we needed some other things and didn't want to go further away from the Playhouse Theater area.

This Walmart is pretty good in maintaining its store and being well stock and clean. Plus there staff when you see them are helpful as well which to me is good customer service

Don't be fooled by the photos. This hole is not even close. Unfortunately I stop here to burn time before work. This place is disgusting, open food and drink found scattered throughout the store,no pride is taken here, there is so much product priced wrong, and in the wrong place. That is if it hasnt been stolen. Yes stolen from customers to employees as well as a highly untrained customer service and security.There are a few photos of today's visit.Some of the photos are obvious but if you look several packages have been opened and swapped with other items 2 were taped closed and 2 were melted closed. This is constantly happening plus get in the habit of taking photos of the price tags, it will help prevent price shock. Mens tops are priced at one price on the shelf and another on the sign plus put on a wrong display table, totes .... good luck finding anything in its correct place.Lastly for now seems like STEELYARD is a great place to take the family for dinner or lunch. Walk around open and eat what ever they like and ditch it in the store.This place is newly remodeled and severely overstaffed to look and function so poorly.I stay true to every post and feel you all deserve better and this is not the place.Thanks.

Walmart in Steelyard has taken all of its self-scans out, which would be great because hey, more jobs, except they only aren't staffing any additional check outs, and there's so many things in the aisle that the lines for these two check outs are literally going around the store. Your employees are overwhelmed, and your customers are extremely angry. You know if you pay people better, they'll show up to work more often? And if you pay people better, more people will want to work for you, so you won't be short staffed? If your employees are valued, they'll take care of your customers, and you'll make more money. Quality is abysmal, the prices are horrendous, and the variety, which was the only value WalMart had, has been eliminated. I know capitalism is a broken system, because that is the only way a corporation, who preys on its employees and poisons/extorts its customers, is successful.I know you can't fix that - can you at least make it tolerable to shop the only place most of America can afford these days? Also, I want to make it clear - this isn't the employee's fault, and I feel so bad for them. Management/corporate needs to step up.

The WORST Walmart in Ohio, by far. Staff is rude, and when they are packed as I was there around 4-5p, they have all the self check outs closed and rely on cashiers. Why have them then? Oh yea; crime ridden, I had to ask someone to unlock the glass case for SHAMPOO. Not to mention it’s just a mess everywhere…, shelves are always stocked to the bare minimum. The only saving grace was the independently owned auntie annes pretzels.

Okay why do they have this up I pushed it literally five times for it to come on with the automatic recorded sentence saying someone will be right with you and no one came. Plenty of associates were walking but out of five only one was available to scan the cage and then open it...Wack!

How this place continues to find ways to get worse is beyond me, I honestly can't wait for someone to take a wrecking bal tol it. Maybe then the thieves that work, shop, and manage the place will realize how beneficial it used to be. With that being said I understand why they are getting rid of self-checkout, but could they at least have PEOPLE RUNNING THE REGISTERS so customers don't have to waste more time in the sad excuse of a store.

Just tired to go in and get toilet paper but there was a worker there who said you guys were closed.The website and Google maps show 11 is closing time. All we needed was toilet paper and they still wouldn't let me in.The worker standing at the door on her phone is who's denying people entrance.

Kayla.at the register,was kind,fast,efficient and very helpful, She even helped me load my items into my vehicle. She truly was a life saver for me.Never has that happened, Thank you Kayla for your kindness.she was a real blessing.

Removed self checkout. Imma be honest, never been here in my life, but mark my words when I say you will lose business. There's plenty other stores who do have self checkout. Why would anyone want to wait in a 15 minute plus line for checkout?? By principle, I will not shop anywhere without a self checkout. It is by far the superior shopping experience

This place was the worst Walmart. Me and my boyfriend aren’t from Ohio but this was the closest Walmart to us. We went @ 9 and Walmart close at 10 so we made it fast. Nothing was stocked, boxes and people in almost every isle, so many things were locked up. So we had to look for someone to unlock it and that time the store was closing so we were debating if we really want it. But the lady that checked us out was nice. If you’re not from this area I would not recommend coming here.

It was my first time. I needed to return some items I had ordered online. The lead customer service person was soooo nice. Oh I wish I could remember her name. Anyway, I ended up with gift cards . It was fine. The stores selection was really good. It has late hours until 11.

My grandma bought glass coffee cups I took her to pick them up none of them were wrapped in paper at all! She had to make sure they were not broken before we pulled off! Still upsetting seeing that she had to be careful taking them home with her and carrying them next time just wrap the darn coffee cups it doesn't take that darn killing!

Very pleased with my experience early this morning. I had a rude experience with the lady working in cosmetics. Just running into that kind of negativity first thing throws me off a little. Than I had to buy a gift card so I went to aisle 31and there i met Keanu. He was very friendly and happy; he perked me up from my negative experience. Once I left I was laughing and feeling way better. Keanu is a fine example of being the best at what you do

It's hard when they only have 3 electric carts and usually 1 or 2 is broken. I understand that maybe the store needs to report this or even order more, but from a handicap standpoint I don't understand. I baby and breathing issues, so I have a tank of oxygen, a purse and may sell to carry plus be able to get items before running out of oxygen. Then during the shift change the lines are awful they may only have 2 lines open,so now you have only those 2 when they should open up more cashers,this will stop customers from putting the items that were in there cart or leaving the small items anywhere they can,to leaving their complete carfes.I myself would spend more than 200.00 every time I was in the store, sometimes More than once a week I was always in more than twice a week. You will probably not read oven respond to me at all.So anyway have a good day ☺️.

We went on a Sunday morning at roughly 8 a.m. we and really impressed with the store's overall condition. Everything was clean, everything was stocked. The guy working the meat department was awesome, extremely knowledgeable, super helpful, and super friendly. We got everything that we set out to get, found some new things to try.The checkout was a breeze. We had a training cashier, she was super fast and really friendly. It took us less than 5 minutes to check out with over $300 worth of groceries. We were in and out in roughly an hour.I know this store gets a bad rap, but I highly recommend it, it was really a good experience.

Place was super busy as always on a weekend.Forgot it's the first of the month & the store waspretty well picked over, but still found most of my shopping list. Staff struggling a bit to restock. All in all not a bad visit.

No longer is a self checkout a self checkout. Cashiers now ring up your stuff at a self checkout. They bag your stuff and take your payments. You can’t ring up your own stuff and you can’t pay on your own. And they force you to show a receipt at the door.

I’m going to keep it short and simple, the younger employees even in the automotive department are garbage & extremely rude. Don’t nobody works they just walk around, never again ✌🏿👀👀🤬🤬🤬They closed all the self checkout lines because of all the stealing. Going here is like a day at the circus 🎪🎪🎪 and the employees are clowns 🤡🤡🤡🤡 walking around like the living dead🤣🤣🤣💯 Go to another location & save yourself the headache ✌🏿

Losing my atm card, my job has a feature to pick up cash so I went to the money center at steelyard. The women that work in there are the most miserable, angry women I have ever met. I spoke kindly picking up my money they wanna talk to smart and slap my money around. Then as I’m walking away the yeti with braids talking about she’ll slap me. First off, she needed to slap that money on the counter faster for the low income job she signed up for. Second, imagine being rude to people bc you hate YOUR job and life. Luckily for her, I feel sorry for her. Unattractive. Clearly poorly educated and definitely broke…. I’d be miserable too. And that’s the only reasons they ot picking up isle 6 after I mopped that floor with her.

Find what I'm looking for. Generally best prices, but they keep edging the prices up. What was $1.00 is now 1.5% higher. They've cut back on product assortment. Aldi is now cheaper. Fewer staff. Plenty of parking. Open late. Love the self checkout stations!

The worst I’ve seen in a while. Most employees have no ambition to help they looked high and smelled like it. I couldn’t get help for anything and only needed a few things for my elderly parents. We are here visiting family I’m just lost on how dirty and out of order the store was. Stop several times to check receipts apparently according to the greeter stealing is a problem from employees and customers 🤦🏻‍♂️😳

You aren’t allowed to checkout at the self checkout traditionally anymore, they require an employee to scan your items for you. What even is the point of having self checkout then? Just go back to traditional check out! They said it’s because people are stealing too much.

Decent number of registers open even in the evening. Mostly full stock shelves.When you go to self check out there’s an employee there to either ring up your items or watch you as you do it.

Bought a couple things on a debit card, went to return them with receipt, requested cash instead of putting it back into my card because it takes a few days and they said no even though I've done it exactly like that at that location before. Quick Google search says it 100% can be done, but still they said no. Wasn't a big amount either, maybe $25. My best guess is it must be quicker and easier to just put it on a card and say they can't do cash rather than do whatever the system prompts you to do if you selected cash refund.

I bought 4 new tires from this Walmart. There was nothing wrong with the car when I took it in. Their paperwork that I received also stated that there was nothing wrong with the car. After the tires were installed, the very next day my car began to make a loud noise from the tires. I took it back and was told that my tire rod was bad and it was like that before hand. When I asked why this wasn't on the pre-check paperwork I was told that he wasn't the one that filled it out. For those who have had a tires rod go bad can attest to the noise that it makes. I wouldn't be buying tires before fixing that. I will never buy tires from this location again 😒

I would hate to see this Walmart close because people in the area have to shop somewhere. Unfortunately, I would not recommend that you go to this Walmart. It's not safe in the Steelyard 1st & most importantly. The parking lot is nasty & filled with trash. The bathrooms are beyond nasty. They have closed down the self checkout lines to keep theft down, which is not their fault, but the lines are Neverending. It's hard to find someone willing to help you because they are short staffed, again not their fault. It's so disappointing with endless complaints.

the cashier was saying she doesnt know if she can sell me beer on a sunday. on my way out some customer service employee of walmart decided to not give me my personal space and rush right towards me and ended up kicking me in my shoe. i go back to question this behavior after i put my shopping items in my car and the entire crew of workers in the customer service area is defending her saying she apologized. why was she rushing right up to me to begin with like i dont deserve my personal space? does an apology make up for any disrespect or wrong doing? well i contacted corporate and ethics after speaking to someone at the store as well. i will also be contacting regional supervisor adonis clark on monday.
