Everytime we come to a Dollar General BEFORE the close time listed online -which for this company is usually always 8-9pm)- they NEVER stay open when they’re supposed too. They always get closed early. This happens in East Cleveland, Cleveland. Location doesn’t seem to matter much. I’ve reported them to the BBB and made official complaints. They have hiring signs up but there’s always only ever one person working per location it seems like. This company needs help.

Wonderful store! Well organized. Wonderful staff. Very polite and professional. Well stocked. Hard workers because they are busy, they are doing a lot of business. Well, they sell such affordable items it only makes sense to shop there.

If I could give negative stars I would it’s always something coming to this store now it’s 8:15 am the open at 8:00 but aren’t and then the employees that are inside act like your bothering them for showing up when they open 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’m going back across town or to a family dollar where you might get into a fight but at least they open on time

This store should be closed down all staff no doing there jobs the stores closed way to early it closes at 4:00 Sundays and 5 pm during the weekdays but says 8pm during the whole week and they rude when you ask for help it just need new managers who take their job seriously and plays no games

Might need to send secret shoppers.1. No carts/baskets2. Rude/ aggressive employees3. Got double scanned4. Nothing is where it is supposed to be on the shelves. I literally have to read the codes to make sure I get the right product.5. The employees are always in a group talking about random stuff instead of working.6. There's always a long line.8. This store never opens on time or is barely open

The manager here is so disrespectful her name is charise she thought a man was stealing he emptied his pockets and his bag she called him a crack head cracker and told him get the f out her store and another lady with her daughter she cursed her out too she need to go she is a terrible manager and she's always on her damn phone

Everyone on the payroll needs to be FIRED!! There is ABSOLUTELY no way this place has management or any sort of disciplinary system in place. This place is NEVER OPEN ON TIME, when I say never believe me I mean NEVER. This is the only Dollar General I know that has its “system down” every morning while the team eats Mc.Donald’s breakfast and stare at customers through the locked doors 45 minutes after they’re supposed to be open 🤦🏾‍♀️ Aside from actually showing up after opening time and having to wait outside, the store is always trashed and the shelves are damn near bare. Ive walked over piles of boxes and have had an employee sweep trash over my shoes with no decency to apologize or any regard for basic manners let alone customer service. I’ve heard the employees have the craziest conversation right in front of customers. Theres a cashier that has never been on her feet while ringing my items, she’s ALWAYS sitting down with an attitude, And you can forget about asking them where anything is. Oh and they close at 8 pm but don’t think your going to show up at 7:01pm because they close early EVERY SINGLE DAY!! Just do yourself a favor and go to a different dollar store.

Just yesterday, as of last 🌃. The store manager was rude, unprofessional, no 🏡 training whatsoever. Not only that, deep inside my 💙, I myself couldn't believe how I felt. How could I put this? We're living in these last days, and I personally don't know how people can just take their problems out on someone who is trying be nice to them. The only left is to trust God.

The inside looked like it had been looted. I was afraid I was going to leave without the main item I went there for (AS batteries ) but upon cashing out, I noticed they had a small stash there.Not sure why half of the items in the store are missing...also terrible pot holes in the parking lot.

This location was close at 9:30am.This happen to me three times in the past. I read other reviews and it is true. Dollar general open at 8:00am.

Services slow never have essential items milk cereal etc the store manager is utterly useless very rude always talking to individuals about staff members she should be fired I'm not going to lie I overheard her saying rude things and racist comments

My cashier was friendly and helpful. The parkinglot is always dirty.They never have enough carts. The staff behavior has inproved.

For the store to be brand new, stuff usually doesn’t work. Doors don’t open on time and when stuff is down, there’s usually no signage to notify. Save time and shop elsewhere.
