They were so kind and friendly and quite helpful as well definitely would go if you are a comic book fan! We went for free comic book day and there was a signing as well! My brother goes all the time and loves it. Children 6 and up.

stopped in here when I was in town last week. people were super friendly and helpful. Just wish I could say that this was the Kind of comic shop I was looking for... This place had very limited back issues and there stop of current books had lots of ticks and bends, so that was kind of a bummer.If you are a card game collector or a board game collector this is probably a place for you, but i was bummed it really didnt have anything I was looking for and the one or two items I wanted to grab were not in the kind of shape that i would spend money on.Again the guys were super nice, but not my kinda place.

This place is super friendly, don't feel like a stranger come on in. There is something here for all ages. There are not just comic books. Old and new toys and figurines. We went in with my grandsons during the Kamms winter festival. They had play sets and little super heroes for the kids to play with. Good idea, kids were busy so papa could browse and shop. If you have never been here before you must visit, if you haven't been here for a while come back there is always something new to see. Carol and John's is a long time staple here at Kamms corner.

It is the most organized and cleanest comic book store I've been in. Wide selection of new and old . Well worth the 90 minute drive.

Exceptional comic shop for all ages. The staff is knowledgeable and very well versed in all things comic related. If you are a regular they will even pull all new comics and have them ready when you come in. They really know how to make people feel welcome, and have several events throughout the year that are definitely worth checking out.

Wanted to find a comic shop that was open early in Cleveland. I'm from the Buffalo area and I like to check on trips to see what I can find. This beats any comic shop I've been to in NY, PA, OH, or VA. My girlfriend loved your cat.

I came to this place with a friend of mines back in January. I have not been home in 7 years. I was told off by shop owner not to take picture inside store of the artwork. However I see on review page many pictures of inside of the store. I was kindly asked to delete them and also my friend and I were asked by staff NOT TO OPEN any comics that are inside plastic. So you can't view inside comic at all only the outside. I wouldn't recommend coming here. Rules of entry should be posted when you enter the store. Or you run the risk of being told off as I was.

Really great store and stocked with comic books. They also have graphic novels, books, action figures, and more. Plus, they have a friendly cat mascot that roams around the store welcoming pats. They are very organized and knowledgeable of their stock, which isn't always true for other comic book stores I've reached out to. I was in search of a specific comic book series for a Christmas gift and contacted them on Facebook. They had what I was looking for and held it behind the counter for me. The staff has always been knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly. I look forward to visiting again next time I'm in Cleveland.

By far one of the best comic shops I have ever gone to (Period). This is not a toxic shop where you will find “Simpson’s Pretentious Comic book Guys”. Instead you will find a sanctum sanctorum of all things comic. All of the employees are extremely helpful and knowledgeable.If you have a niche fandom your not criticized or ridiculed for having a c-list character favorite character. The do weekly updates on their Facebook page and are extremely active with covid precautions. I’ve had a comic pull at this location for close to a year and I plan to keep it here for a very long time. Excelsior!

Employee knowledge is very good. Decor, organization, and accessibility is solid. They often have fun and creative events. They currently have a delightful cat, Winston, in the store. They will special order odd titles for you if you don't subscribe to enough titles to have a regular file. There is a terrific selection of TPBs and graphic novels as well.

Staff was great and very helpful! They knew exactly what me and my friend were looking for and pulled it out for us to see what we could get. Tons of comics and way more. Well staffed and fun people to talk to. You can tell from walking in this is the place to go. The cat was a nice touch, but do not pet it. Lol

Best dam comic shop in the Land. I have been going to this shop for decades. They always have what I'm looking for or at least able to find it for me. The staff there make shopping there a joy. Highly recommend for all of your comic book needs.

Great little shop. Employees were friendly and helpful. Great spot to bring your kids and let them pick a comic book or 2 or 3 or more. The statues are a nice addition and they have a small selection of figures available too. I'll be taking my son back to get him some more comics!! He enjoyed it way more than I anticipated and it keeps him off COD for a few hours.

The quintessential classic comic shop, with all the modern comic services available. Centrally located on the westside at Kamm's Corner (I mean, literally the very corner of Kamm's) Carol & John's is always worth a stop every time I'm in the neighborhood. A true Cleveland gem.

Went to Carol and John's this evening and it was a great place. The store was well organized and the prices were very fair. All back issues were fairly priced plus they gave an extra 25% off. the best dollar bins I have ever seen, mostly Marvel and DC bronze age and up. Picked up 20 Conan the barbarians #s between 80 and 150. staff was friendly and helpful. the only downfall is the square footage of the store. the back issues we stacked in racks and from letters "K" and down you had to get on knees or lift the box to the top, but for great prices, it is worth it. I will definitely go there next time I take a trip to Cleveland

C&J's is great! They have great events/sales, a wonderful selection, and a super awesome staff. I don't know anyone who has had a negative experience there. Check it out if you are in the area, it is a local treasure.
