Stumbled across this place while out Ohio road tripping. Very clean store with several employees, and a pretty large selection of fresh cut meats. There wasn't any deli style meats. The prices are definitely pricey, so if your limited in funds or looking for sale items, this isn't your store. I went with 2 Philly steak burgers to give it a try. Almost $9.00. I hope they are good.

We all have to eat. We all need groceries. There's no distinction. SNAP/EBT should not be used as a tool to separate ourselves, separate our communities, separate our families or separate our society from each other. I've shopped here for years. Recently, I have fallen on hard times like millions of other AMERICANS.Then to target a single group during a pandemic, is just horrible and disgusting.

ALWAYS the freshest, quality products. They don't cut corners. Service is always good. They've always been very apathetic demeanor. It appears to just be their culture, but they aren't mean or disrespectful. They're closing their retail store on Jan. 13, 2023, to open a packing/processing warehouse. I wish them well.

This place has everything: fresh homemade baked goods, an outdoor fruit and vegetable stand in the summer, and of course a nice selection of meat.Pies come ready made in individual and regular sizes, and about a dozen flavors. And these are the only store-bought black raspberry pies I've had that can rival my mom's recipe! We've also had positive experiences with steaks and unique local cheeses.The prices here are reasonable, service is friendly, and products are fun and fresh.

This is only my second time going to this store. The staff are very welcoming and supportive. Their products are laid out invitingly. Prices are fair and I am glad I decided to go again. Great experience!

I really love the freshness and quality of the food, however, I recently purchased chicken noodle soup and was wondering if you’ve changed the recipe? It wasn’t quite as tasty as previous ones? The noodles were very mushy and the very little chicken was stringy. Maybe it was just a not so good batch. I’ll definitely continue to shop there and maybe next time it will be back to the old recipe. Holiday Greetings

Always friendly and ridiculously fresh. You can tell a difference in meat from theirs and grocery stores just by cutting into it. The baked goods are always fresh and taste delicious. Lots of variety too. Highly recommend!

Awesome fresh meats at fair prices. Most of the selection is local and natural. There is a nice produce stand outside during warmer months. We appreciate the old-fashioned meat counter, you can request as much or as little of the fresh items as you need, no bulk packages like the regular grocery to get a good price.

I've been coming here for years because it's the only place to get all natural quality beef and pork,. They have yummy bakery items too, and this year I noticed they added fresh local grown produce! I live in Centerville so it's about 30 minutes, sooo worth the drive! Plus you can call ahead and order what you need for a special dinner or cook out. Highly recommend checking it out...

This place is amazing! We stopped in for the first time right before the fourth of July and got so much food. Burgers, steaks, pork, jerky, chicken, bread, cheese, and even fruits and vegetables, and ice cream! Cold salads, deli meats and cheeses, pies and cakes! Everything was just so good. I don't think we can go anywhere else for our bacon anymore.

A great, hard to find butcher shop featuring custom cut quality meats, baked goods, cheeses, and fresh produce in season. They're always busy so take a number when you enter and everyone is served in order by the friendly staff. I highly recommend you give it a try!

They had a lot of assortment of fresh meat, salads, and deli items. Prices were about the same as the grocery store. Will be going back there when it's time to restock.

I won't deny the food is good. However, if you knew what went on behind the scenes you might think twice before shopping here. I have not been there in over 10 years, so I hope management has changed as well as the rules for the employees.

We have been Landes customers for many years because we like their meats. This morning we showed up to purchase our Christmas roast and noticed the checkout lady was not wearing a mask. Many of the clerks were wearing their masks below their noses, and one held her mask away from her face to speak to us, which pretty much defeats the purpose. I had to send my 75-year-old mother out to the car while I finished making our purchases.When I politely asked the checkout lady why she wasn't wearing a mask, she didn't answer me, but pointed to a written sign that self-righteously declared that not all of their employees wore masks but that they considered themselves to be adhering to safety protocols (they did not elaborate on what those protocols were) and should not be "vilified" for not wearing masks.Sorry lady, but it's the law in Ohio that individuals wear masks when in indoor public locations during this pandemic. And it's not as if the governor woke up one day and decided to inconvenience you--there are valid public health reasons for this rule.We will be shopping elsewhere for our meats in the future.

Fresh cracklings on Wednesday. Good meat selection. The sweets are to die for. Summer was a produce stand all season. Spring was morell mushrooms by the lb. Try some of their deli salads. All is good here. Promise.

Recent upgrades to the parking lot and inside the store has greatly improved overall appearance of the store. The parking lot was full as well as the store. Nevertheless, the serve was spot on, speedy and friendly too.

I found their bacon in Bush's grocery store in Pinckney Mi. The bacon is very meaty! you won't find any other bacon this meaty,, delicious and cheaper!

Love Landes i dont go anywhere else for meat, turkey, pork, chicken etc everyone needs to go and support this local business. The grocery store meat,chicken, pork etc does not compare to Landes. I'm a customer forever

This was my first time here. Lots of great looking meats at the meat counter. Picked up a fresh turkey for the holiday. I'll definitely go back.
