One word to describe this store HORRIFYING!Service agents have I DONT HAVE TIME FOR YOU ATTITUDES! Bathrooms are not made available to paying customers. Entrance to the location is very small carts lock so you can’t take groceries to your car when finished shopping. If you can avoid this Kroger’s and shop elsewhere I’d strongly suggest you do so! If no stars was available I would give them a big ZERO

Super clean, very well stocked and plenty to choose from, this is a vast improvement from the previous location on Vine St., shopping on the first floor and a full eatery on the second floor. Yes they have elevators if you are unable to take the stairs.

Whomever “Ms Janelle” is in customer service needs to be retrained on her customer service skills as she lacks them SEVERELY! She’s rude, disrespectful, hostile and hates her job! It’s odd that ppl with the nastiest attitudes somehow always manage to be in customer service! Do better Kroger! 0 stars I’ll continue to shop at Meijer!

The Downtown Kroger store is convenient for quick trips. It is a small store with fewer options on products. Panhandling takes place outside of this location on a consistent basis. It is almost always busy with a wait to get to a self checkout kiosk. It is clean and usually organized. I try to only get things that are in immediate need. Prices at Kroger are high compared to other grocery stores.

Store is a mixed bag. Vast improvement over Vine St branch. Most staff are friendly and professional, others appear clueless when it comes to basic customer service. Curious about the quality of training for clerks. The parking garage is a joke. Rarely does the Kroger receipt scan properly at the garage gate. So you sit there behind the gate until the bored 3CDC employee in the office stops playing with his phone and comes out and attempts to scan the receipt and gets the same result, "Ticket Unknow." Kroger employees tell me it's 3CDC and 3CDC employees tell me they don't own the garage, but they work there and it's Krogers' fault. Circle the wagons and fire inward appears to be the MO. For the love of all the saints in heaven, please fix your broken parking scanners. This issue goes on all day long throughout the week.

The stated closing time is and always has been 10 pm. I tried going to the store at 9 pm and the security guard literally did not let me enter because they were "closed." Even though there were clearly many other people inside shopping.I could understand shutting off the front doors at 9:45 or 9:50 so shoppers are out by 10. But a whole hour? Seriously? Some people shop at this store for basic necessities like food, water, soap, etc. There's absolutely no justifiable reason for "closing" a grocery store an hour early with no notice and no reason other than that the security guards can go home early. Extremely unprofessional and I hope this never happens again

This place is quite a mixed bag... Some employees are professional and helpful while others use profanity, refuse to make basic eye contact, physically fight with guests, etc. In a scenario I witnessed, a guest hit an employee and the employee aggressively punched them back and was likely going to fight the visibly deranged guest before a security guard intervened. You sort of just take the good with the bad here. They now claim to close at 9pm (as of 1/10/24) when the website states 10pm. It would be helpful to include accurate store hours so guests can plan accordingly. Obviously, this store doesn’t have the product selection the larger sized stores have and the app can be useful in seeing if they carry the item you’re looking to purchase and if it’s in stock. I’m grateful downtown has a grocery store but this store could use some more consistency (which is rather odd considering corporate is literally next door).

This store has a great staff but lacks basic things other stores have(dove men’s for example). They claim to close at 9:00 now which is way too early.

if you used to shop at the old one on Vine, this is like heaven. that place was wild. but honestly id like this new place more if there werent so many questionable types constantly just hanging out in and around the store when theyre not there to shop. makes me not want to go there. not sure why they can't prevent drug dealers and junkies making the city miserable for everyone else. i guess that would be mean or something.also, i would avoid buying any of the kroger brand packaged meats here. on multiple occasions i've bought beef and it has gone grey after a day or so (seriously, don't buy it). buy the non-kroger stuff that isn't in those foam packages.

Kroger's 1st compact urban store is a huge addition to Cincinnati's urban core. The fresh produce section is the highlight along with the food hall upstairs and ready to eat items.Meats and bakery sections are a little smaller than a typical store, but with Avril & Bleh down Court Street and Findlay Market a streetcar ride away - that's not really a problem.(Parking also isn't a problem. First 30 min free and first 2 hours free if you spend over $15.)

What a blessing this store is to downtown Cincinnati. A store exec gave me free tickets to a Reds game while passing though one day. Hot cookies in the produce section. What isn't to love?

The lady at the Starbucks was very rude I came to get a coffee and as soon as I stepped to the counter she was like “what are you getting” there was very much attitude and she didn’t listen to my order and got it wrong. She proceeded to treat me and my dad this way threw out the whole order. And she was on the phone. That is very unprofessional and her name is TAYA. She needs more customer service

Purchase required at a register to use the restrooms, regardless if you need to use them prior to your shopping or not. They also do not make any exceptions for pregnant people. Not only do you have to pay to use the restrooms, they aren't even clean

Great addition to downtown! I bought some of the sushi for lunch and it was really good. They have Marx hot bagels, which is my favorite bagel shop period. They have Eli’s barbecue and campfire foods which are a hit with my family.

Unprofessional, rude staff who is aggressive with shoppers. Prices on shelf are rarely correct at checkout. Self-checkout is always a big mess. Employees openly use profanity.

I ate lunch here at one of the eateries upstairs and it was surprisingly good. I had a reuben and fries and chocolate chip cookie. Pretty inexpensive for all that and I enjoyed everything. Rare that you find a nice grocery store with a food court in a downtown area. It is a real gem.

Management needs to watch the footage from today, March 12th. The workers had 10 customers standing outside in the snow, for 10 minutes! We were all there at 6:00 and no one wanted to open the door. 2 officers walked past us and didn’t give any reason on why the store didn’t open on time. There was no apology or greetings from the workers. When I went to purchase my item there was no one to help. All security could say was “oh there’s supposed to be someone up here”. Customer service is the worst!

This spot is in a good location and the upstairs is nice, but why are they always out of the most basic items... super common things like produce? No bakery, no deli, no pharmacy, etc. There are also some extremely sketchy members of the staff at this location. They have workers and "managers" at this store that will cover up and hide their nametags from you to report them when they're doing sketchy things to dodge accountability from Kroger Corporate. This has happened multiple times now... always with the late night crew.Kroger Corporate would really benefit from installing professionals in this store. I do not go to Kroger stores to hear things like workers talking smack about their customers in earshot or security workers (again hiding their name badges) trying to kick people out of the store before closing time just so they can get off of their shift early.

Great to have a Downtown grocery store. This one is small in terms of groceries (items run out quickly). Large bakery and grab n go deli area. Has a decent size liquor store, and a cafe with several local food options. Usually it's busy, but there are plenty of shelf self-checkouts. Parking garage with validated parking when you present your receipt. Street parking, too but no validation for those.

Nice and convenient for the neighborhood Residents to shop. Maybe add a few more items such as the Super stores have. But otherwise I love it. Definitely a lot better than the Vine St location, I truly refuse to even shop there when it was on Vine St. Continued success 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I arrived at 9:45 pm to purchase bleach and apple cider vinegar. The security would not let me in stating doors close at 9:30. I explained to him that I was trying to clean up a black mold problem in my new home that I just noticed. He refused to allow me in as “he was just doing what he’s told”.

Alzena works at Krogers on court st. You can tell when she's had a rough day, but she do not take it out on the customers. She stays pleasant and professional. My stars today is for her customer service.

The reason I go to this store is because of my guy Tony. That guy is a great person and he always gives an positive attitude EVERY SINGLE TIME. I mean this man never has an bad day and he gives professional customer service at all times. I’ve never experienced someone talking to me like we were already friends at a store before. The greatest experience everytime I come there!!! That guy deserves a pay raise!!
