Great store with a varied selection of items and spectacular customer service. The prices are a bit steep, but that's not surprising given the location. I would return for the customer service and to purchase one or two treats.

Such incredible and attentive customer service. The girl was sweet and helped me choose from a variety of self service home made treats. They have the best variety I ever seen. And the store is well organized and clean. They also offer really cute frosting cookies. My baby fur will love what I got for him.

I'm so excited to have a place I can go to for my dog that has a focus on nutrition. My very picky eater is loving the food I purchased for her. The man that was working was so knowledgeable about all the products. This will be my go to store for my dog from now on.

This store was recommended by our dog trainer, Nick. Our rescued dog is leash-reactive to other dogs - hence the training. We stopped by the store to buy training treats before meeting with Nick. The two young ladies working both greeted us warmly and began to help us find what we needed. They knew our trainer, recognized that our dog was leash-reactive and helped us navigate the store to minimize the interactions for the dog and even went so far as to explain to another customer (with their dog) so the dog owner understood our dog's reaction and why they we directing us around the store. It ended up being a pleasant experience for us and our pup. He loved seeing all the toys and bones and just generally exploring. We got some training moments in. And we got our training treats and more! Loved the small business feel and service compared to the big box pet stores - but the inventory felt anything but small. The store is beautifully designed and stocked. The staff were super helpful, warm and friendly. We will definitely be back often. Thank you for such a welcoming experience.

The staff was SO FRIENDLY, and super welcoming to my pups! The dog wash saved my day and the price is great! Definitely recommend if you need a quick bath for your pup after an adventure!

Both Jackie and Michael are always fantastic whenever Corbin and I are at Pet People. Most recently, we came in sopping wet after getting caught on a walk in the rain. Jackie immediately offered up towels both for myself and for Corbin. She also proceeded to help me dry Corbin off. Pet People in Hyde Park is my absolute fave pet store to shop at in town. Today, we found out my girlfriends cat had passed away. We went into the store to make a tag for her late cat and they were kind enough to make, not only one but two (we made a spelling error), for free. We can’t thank them enough for their act of kindness.

My dogs Rexx n Rok ko had fleas pretty bad and the young lady in the Oakley store suggested the flea spray I should buy and I did. Friendly staff who are patient with my reactive dog. Have not noticed many changes since the switch from Pet People to Hollywood Feed ownership-though I do miss the clearance section. Some signage or flags for the aisles would REALLY help with navigating the store.

My dog is a very picky eater. So the manager recommended Stella and chewys freeze dried food. And my dog loves it. I’m so glad I found pet people.it’s the only place that Carries the brand I need and they are always so friendly and helpful when u walk in. Great job guys

Love this place!! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and the products are great for your pet. I always leave there feeling better than I did when I walked in. Yesterday happened to be National Cat Day and I went home with a free catnip toy. Not only was it ultra fresh 'nip but also cute and well designed. That's what first attracted me to this store. The selection of toys is excellent and look good enough that you don't mind seeing them around your house.
