Do NOT buy any reptiles or any animal for that matter unless you have the money to go directly to a vet. We went a few months ago and there was a dead bearded dragon then we go two weeks ago to see this savanah monitor in poor poor health. The manager said the other one they had was dead already and this one probably wouldn’t make it, we got a discount for its health being so poor. Took it to the vet for them to say it’s so dehydrated and malnourished they wouldn’t even deworm her yet because she would die so we have her on antibiotics, some formula, and soaking her 3 times a day. Overall the staff and workers are very kind and super friendly but unfortunately don’t know much about proper care for their animals. Wish they would just sell supplies not reptiles. At the very least instead of letting them suffer or die get them to a vet.

I bought Mushu on January 17, 2024. Today, January 29, 2024, he died. These pictures were the state that he was in when he was purchased from Feeders in Eastgate. He was extremely malnourished and dehydrated. I did everything I could to rehabilitate this little guy to no avail. This place should not be allowed to sell love animals. There was a second Tokay Gecko in the same tank as Mushu, and when I went back two days later, him, all of the anoles, and several other animals that have been there for weeks were all gone, replaced by fresh animals. I go into this pet store atleast once a week to get crickets for my beardie and these reptiles had been there every time (I go visit the animals when I go) there is NO WAY they were all adopted within a matter of two days. What happened to them?? Why are these animals treated so poorly?

Walked in to get food for my ferrets. Saw these little sweeties. The manager was standing right next to to area I let him know the ferrets were out of food. He said “I know”. I said their cage is filthy and he replied they just cleaned it out Monday. It’s Friday. These are babies. Worst care for ferrets I’ve personally seen from anywhere selling them. Asking $350 for an animal they don’t even know how to care for (or are to lazy to do so) is disgusting. 4:45pm 05/26/2023

People here are fairly nice, but I'm not so sure about the fish. I baught 6 fish from petsmart and 6fish from here, one i had to return due to having a fungal infection upon closer inspection, and the second i got died a few days later to the same disease. I had to treat my own tank in fear it may spread. Thankfully it didn't, but 3 of 6 fish have died from this store.Of what i can tell the tanks dont get the best maintenance, understandable theres a lot of them, but i would recommend them to take more interest and concern when a customer returns a fish right after buying it: for having a spreadable disease.The selection of items and the dog bath area seem really nice though, these people have been nothing but nice.

On the higher end(price wise) but they do have awesome springtail cultures.(hundreds of live springtails) Isopod cultures(the one I bought had 9. Was told 10-15) but the 9 I got are healthy and super cool Armadillidium Vulgare T+ Albino. They also have other feeders and some cool reptiles and amphibians, along with regular pet shop critters.

Wouldn't recommend this store for small animals. The staff is super nice and friendly, however, within 8 days of having our small animal it had shown signs of a fungal infection and we decided to return our small animal. This fungal infection could have easily passed to our other animal or ourselves. We were made to feel like it was our fault and were given in store credit instead of a refund. Which this was not explained at purchase and was made to seem as we would get a full refund for anything within the fourteen day limit. We did not wish to contribute any more money to this store and were highly disappointed with the credits as it felt wrong. Point being said, will not be coming back to this chain of stores.

Store is under new management, Bob is his name. He is doing so well. Things have really improved, the animals seem much happier and healthier now. As someone who's been a vet assistant for years, I am very judgy on pet stores. I am impressed with how much he has changed and excited to see what else he accomplishes. I'm hoping to see changes with the beta fish enclosures next.

This pet store is different then all others around. Still has that home feeling with tons of unusual products that you can't get at other places. Troy and Cory are the best employees at this place so if you are in ask for them. Super friendly and knowledgeable! This store has tons of different animals you do not see at a typical pet store! Also the dog wash is a plus! HIGHLY recommend this store!

Went in there tonight looking for a betta, it’s very sad. Their bettas are in horrible condition and look so sad. Most of them are just still and look like they don’t wanna move. They need to take better care of the fish. Period. I’ve only bought one, ONE time from there and there was a dead one and I brought the cup up to the counter and told them about it. With the conditions of these fish they aren’t going to go to homes due to the lack of care from the store.

This is my favorite to shop at. I pass three pet stores to go to this one. My dog has multiple allergies that severely limits her diet and they carry a reasonably priced brand of dog (and cat, in the event the dog eats the cat's food) food that meets those needs. We also have arachnids and reptiles and we can usually find everything we need here for them. I've never seen a larger, more varied selection of enclosures in one place. They have frequent sales and all of the staff is polite; most are knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Now THIS is the place you want to go for a pet who's more like a member of your family. A superior selection of holistic suppliments and medicines for your dog or cat, and the selection of fish and small pets here is awesome!! Even the Betta fish looked happy and were curiously tapping at the edges of their plastic bowls, VERY active!! Staff was very friendly and helpful, and made the visit very enjoyable.

I used to go to feeders because they had fish that alot of other pet stores didn't, recently they have the same fish you find at every other pet store. Other than that it's a decent store.

Visit was pleasant and sales associate was very helpful with my concerns on finding a food that had no chicken or beef in it, as we are trying to figure out what our dog may be allergic to. Prices do seem to be about the same as pet supplies plus, and they also price match .

Very doubtful of their experience regarding the health and safety of small animals. I sometimes stop in here for Dubai roaches for my adult bearded dragon. I always stop to see the baby dragons while shopping, and this is the second time I had to bring it to the attention of the employees that they have a dying baby dragon. Strongly do not recommend buying reptiles from this establishment.

The staff and managers are great! I enjoy how teachable some of the kids are when it comes to learning about some of the animals in their care, in exchange, I can appreciate how knowledgeable other staff members are when it comes to the odd types such as the isopods, arachnids and a handful of the reptiles!The pet food selection is high quality and fairly priced.Feeders perks are welcomed! Spend so much and receive discounts on additional orders!There is also a self serve petwash! Complete with shampoos, driers and an arrangement of pet care items to offer your pooch an amazing self wash away from home!

This place is great for purchasing supplies such as toys and treats for your animals. Their selection of fish is beautiful and I enjoy looking at them. My only thought would be the care of the Hermit Crabs. As a crab enthusiast this was truly saddening to me. In general , taking better care of them would increase their value and decrease likelihood of the animals dying due to post purchase stress.

Nice variety of basic fish. Normal prices. They had some fish we didn't find other places. Clown loaches YoYo loaches. We had 2 out of over 20 fish die. We went to exchange them and they told us they needed a water sample which was not explained at purchase when we asked about the warranty. We spent 180$ and were denied a 15$ exchange

We have been going to Petco for years.. as soon as we walked into Feeders we knew this was our new pet supply store.. they have everything and then some.. very good brand selection. Even have live animals, reptiles and fish.. Definitely worth going to.

Very terrible customer service they employees were standing around on their phones not greeting customers when they walked in dead fish on the floor very unsanitary frozen mice back where the fish are in a cooler. I highly don’t recommend this place they don’t take care of any of their animals at all at the store! A lot of them looked sick. The employees will make rude remarks and laugh when you are talking to them about finding something in the store that your looking for they will not walk up to you until you’ve been standing there for several hours I’d prefer to go to a different pet store like pet smart and or petco, pet land where they are a lot more friendlier and they keep their store well maintain unlike this one.

Extremely overpriced sales people are very immature and do not know what they're talking about when it comes to the products and fish that they sell. Also very unclean dead fish on the floor and all sales reps were all standing around doing nothing at the front of the store and giggling around and not doing anything. I do not recommend this place whatsoever I'm not a fan of big chain pet stores but I will go to a big chain pet store everyday before I go to this location I will go to Petco petland or PetSmart well before I ever go to this place.

Edit* lowering star because i got 2 items that were 75% off. I reminded them at checkout when they were not rung up properly, and they still did not calculate 75% off... pic of receipt attached. 75% off $9.99 is not $5.62 off.. it should be $7.49 off... :(The workers are very friendly but they are not knowledgeable about anything, definitely do not go here with any questions or without knowing what you need. They tried to sell me frozen rat pinkies saying they were bigger than rat fuzzies when any reptile owner can tell you that is not the case. Likely just not understanding the name or verbiage of what i needed- i needed next rat size up from rat pinky which is typically called fuzzies and then pups. The store has a nice selection of more raw stuff that others around don't have.One concern when i was there (a mistake a lot of pet stores make)the young ferrets (~8wks)did not have their ferret food moistened at all and they are still too young for just dry. This makes/made them very aggressive where they bite and try to shake and rip because they are very hungry. Even just dripping a few drops of water from their water bottle onto their food they went at it ravenously. Please just moisten their ferret food a little until 12 weeks old, they will eat better and appreciate it.
