This place has terrible customer service. A feeder was sent to me as a gift. It was the wrong one with a remarkably similar name to the one I wanted. I called the company asking to exchange the feeder for the one I want so the sender would not be the wiser thinking they sent the perfect present. The company could not have been less accommodating! There is NO exchange policy. NO EXCEPTIONS Not only can I not exchange it- I must pay for return shipping and then I have to order, pay for AND pay for shipping the correct item! When I pointed out to the extremely uninterested customer service person that seems very inconvenient and costly for a gift I was met with complete indifference. Terrible company. I will never order from them again.

Ordered the BestNest API 650 Deck Mounted Heated Bird Bath with Outdoor Cord Connector but not from Amazon, my first mistake. The second mistake, I did not read the reviews on Amazon, the one-star ratings clearly pointed out the identical issues I had with the product.Ended up returning the product via UPS at a cost to me of, $25.36. BestNest then only credited my account for the items purchased minus their original shipping costs. The total cost to me was, $42.32! I have nothing for that $42 but frustration with a lousy product and absolutely poor customer service.I will never again do business with this company!

Do not apply for a position (job) with this company, They will waste your time!! They lie about their pay on Indeed and when you communicate with them the pay drops tremendously!! This is why they are always hiring!! (TURNOVER IS HIGH). The items they sell in their warehouse may be fine and priced well. This is a Job review!!

BestNest has sent me products in good shape for two years. Recently they shipped a bad product twice: insect/worm infested raw peanuts. They did not offer a refund for the first bag and said the second was from a new batch and should be good. It wasn't. When I called, the rep wanted me to send pictures. I refused since they could have checked it before sending and should have trusted me as a frequent customer. Today I am returning it. I made it clear I will no longer do business with them if I do not receive a refund of $67 for each bag. They have good products, but there return policy sucks and has no doubt lost them lots of customers.

This outlet location has tons of things at extremely great prices. The people were very nice and helpful. Will definitely be back. Picked up at new returned pioneer purple Martin house for 48 dollars!

DO NOT BUY FROM Bestnest.comOn Oct 1st we ordered three Squirrel Buster bird feeders and a Squirrel Buster PLUS weather guard at a cost of $266.35. About a month or so later (late Nov/early Dec.?) when we got around to putting up the feeders we realized that the weather guard did not fit any of the feeders we bought. The unopened weather guard sat on a table through the holidays, you know how that goes.When we called today (Jan 6th) the nice woman informed us that we would have to pay return shipping which was fine, that was not a surprise AND….. “the cost of the original shipping to us” which she said would have been $16. Since this weather guard was only $24.95 I said I needed to know what part of the original $16 shipping they would charge us so I could calculate whether it was worth returning the item. (We actually realized after we hung up that we probably paid nothing for the shipping originally since it was over $75) The nice woman said she would have to ask “Him”. When she came back from speaking with “Him”, “Him” must have told her we would get nothing because it was over 30 days.So this item, which was unopened, which they would have no problem reselling, which we would have paid to return, is now a problem. So now I’m writing this bad review :-( Do not buy from this company

If I could give less than 1 star I absolutely would. I feel I was actually robbed by this company. I ordered a pergola and side fences from them(very deceiving advertised) for my beach wedding . It was only the side fences that I ordered. Fine print said it was, my bad I guess. The problem was I returned the item and the said it was damaged and would not return my money and I paid $70 out of pocket to return. They absolutely lied and said what I returned was damaged. Never ever buy anything from them, terrible customer service and the scam that I'm out $320. Such a shame, stealing from hard working Americans.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! I ordered a bird house from them with the post so I could have all the pieces to install the bird house easily for my husband as a surprise birthday present for his 60th. When I had a builder come to my home to install it he said that he needed a bracket to connect the house to the pole and the pole that was sent was way too big for the house, that it would not look right. So they did not tell me about the bracket when I placed my order and they sold me a $50 post that was incorrect for the size of the birdhouse. I called to asked if I could return it was told the timeframe for the return was up so sorry no return. I explained to him that I was sent the wrong pole and he said, sorry. Then he called back and said he was sorry it was his fault for not sending the right thing and forgetting the bracket and I could return it at MY cost? really? I have emailed them back and forth for days and they are still saying I have to pay the shipping to send this huge, heavy pole back that was was incorrectly sent to me??? Wow! I wish I would have checked the google reviews before using this company, they are consistent with my issue. I would not order anything from this company if you are not 100% completely sure you want it... their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. It's very unfortunate.

We ordered "tree guards". Put one on a tree and it promptly fell apart after the first pass with a weed trimmer. Best Nest wouldn't take it back because we used one, but offered to replace the box. I explained I didn't want MORE of a product that didn't work. They kept calling me, asking how they could resolve the situation. I explained that a refund for a product that didn't do the only job for which is was intended was the only acceptable resolution. They kept offering to replace the box (after I'd pay for return shipping, of course). After 3 messages from them asking again how could they resolve it, I tersely replied, "either refund me or stop calling", to which they repeated, "we can't refund you because you used the product." Got to give them points for trying, but no points for standing behind a product that doesn't work. And wasting my time and money.** Post script - the manufacturer ultimately refunded our money after Best Nest could not help us.

PROCEED WITH CAUTION with BestNest.com!! Would not refund a seriously wrong shipping charge on my order! EXTREMELY BAD customer service issues. Supervisor made me feel frustrated and helpless due to a charge that was BestNest's fault. If I could give 0 stars, I would! My charges on my order were seriously wrong. I contacted them less than two hours after placing the order and they would not refund my money. The check-out process gave me free shipping. They went ahead and charged me almost $200 to ship a bird box and an extender pole to me!! SERIOUS ROBBERY! Spoke to Zach the 'supervisor' the next day - evening I may add - and he was extremely rude and spoke to me like I was a child walking me through the whole ordering process. Did not help me at all and had no intention of helping me get the shipping cost refunded.BestNest is seriously not customer friendly making you seriously feel helpless if your order is wrong and too expensive for them to fix even though THEY are the one's at fault. This business should help their customers instead they are only looking out for themselves and do not care about the people buying their products. PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION if you deal with this company which I do NOT recommend you do!

Best Nest Outlet is a great place to pick up bird feeders and outdoor decor at rock bottom prices. Some is scratch and dent, but much of it is just overstocks. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!

I purchased two Purple Martin houses for my parents as a Mother's Day gift. They were difficult to assemble, and once put together, were not as described. They're not able to be cleaned, and definitely not user friendly.I called their customer service and the guy a total dink on the phone. They would not refund me for the bird houses because they were not in original condition. This company was a pain to deal with. I would definitely find another manufacture. - Tom

I never write reviews but after my experience I don't want others to go through what I did! Had an item get double ordered and they shipped both saying their was nothing they could do but issue credit if it was shipped back to them. Upon receiving the items paid for shipping to send the duplicate item back and got an email a week later saying the item was damaged and a credit was unable to be issued. I called them (again not pleasing or helpful to talk to) and got them to send pictures, and only one of the five boxes had a hole in it with no damage to the actual pieces of the item. Not to mention the item we kept had two boxes with damaged and someone's initials and date written on it. Would avoid doing business with BestNest and will not be ordering anything from them in the future!

It has 24 hours since i last contacted them, still no response. Should have know better. Their ratings are very poor. They advertise shipping within 5 days,. Of course that did not happen, they have no process to follow up with customers. When you call they give excuses blaming the manufacturer. I totally understand shipping delays. Even Amazon will keep you posted on your ETA. Not BESTNEST, seems like they do not care. PS, they were paid. I received NO product or customer service, yet!

This merchant was terrible to me on the phone, when I called about my order that was missing a product. I called because I had not heard anything regarding an email inquiry sent to customer service 4 days prior. The missing product was blocking our project, which was important to us. The gentleman my call was transferred to seeking a refund on the missing product was the single worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. He told me they do not want customers like me. Wow.

Ordered lovely copper spinner for our anniversary. Very excited, assembled, put in yard. Does NOT spin! Called and was told to put magnets on it--NOT INCLUDED.So got $159 spinner which doesn't spin even as my dollar store spinners go crazily spinning. Was told since hubs had broken down box immediately and recycled it, that we couldn't return it, they'd do NOTHING. Made BBB complaint, NO response. Such a total disappointment--the non-spinning "spinner", the non-responsive company. I've had better responses from Chinese companies!And the worst part is we really loved it, got it for ourselves for anniversary, and the spinner doesn't spin!!

We ordered a house number sign from BestNest. It was a beautiful sign, but we were disappointed that the numbers were not as tall as shown in the product description. The BestNest customer service was prompt, friendly and offered us several fair options for resolving the discrepancy. Although we didn't get exactly what we ordered, the customer service has been a pleasure to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them in the future.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE- ZERO Stars.I placed an order with them- They took my 187.98 cancelled my order and claim they have refunded me WHEN THEY HAVE NOT. I waited the time they asked to me wait, and they refuse to provide proof that they refunded me.Every person on the phone is RUDE and refuses to help or even be compassionate and listen. Bottom line do not give this company a dime.

I purchased a wooden trellis from Best Nest. Assembled, stained and attached it to my deck. Where it looked great for 10+ years until the deck had to be removed. Looking to purchase another trellis from Best Nest this season.

Our local Agway store has been out of our favorite suet for weeks. I searched online and found BestNest. Ordered two cases on Friday; delivered on Sunday. Comparable pricing to our local store - and free shipping. Outstanding experience!

Do not purchase the tri level metal plant stand form this company. It rusts out in less than 2 years and BestNest will not stand by this product or go to the manufacturer on your behalf. I would not recommend doing business with this company.

AVOID THIS RUDE OPERATION, the below 1-star reviewers were right!!!!!!!BestNest is rude and gives excuses rather than take a proactive approach to HELP the paying customer. Instead, they favor their vendor to save face. Two delivery dates communicated to me were missed and all BestNest would do is make excuses defending FedEx and slyly blame me for not choosing a different shipping method (as if I'm psychic). BESTNEST CONSCIOUSLY CHOSE TO PARTNER WITH FEDEX AS AN EXTENSION OF THEIR CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. According to BestNest, it's *my fault* for not choosing another delivery option (i.e. "shame on me" for not being psychic that failure would happen).
