Best bar in Gaslight Clifton (next to the firehouse & across from the Esquire Theatre). Several TVs for sports plus a pool table.Very cheap happy hour and daily specials. They have good food too (more than just burgers and chicken), and a nice draft beer selection. Bar and food service is fast.They also have a TouchTunes jukebox. Awesome patio back, down the stairs, where they sometimes have live music. Always a fun mix of regulars. Great bartenders too.

I have been going to Ariln's Bar & Grill for years it is a very nice atmosphere great people. Great food, great drinks , also when the weather is nice outside they have live entertainment. Very nice

There was 2 girls working behind bar that were not very attentive. We had to ask for menu for drinks & food. We got our drinks right away. We placed our order for food & we were told no salad so we got soup. A steak sandwich was ordered but no onions or green peppers on it. Needless to say we will not eat there again. We had to ask for two cold glasses for two more beers. Both girls seemed to not know what was going on. We had to ask for our food bill. Very disappointed!

It was a tight squeeze, it was uncomfortable seeing dogs walking through there in such a tight squeeze. I also did not like seeing the dog passed the threshold of the kitchen can a person playing with the dog rubbing a dog and coming out with food immediately.Which discouraged me from ordering food

I was visiting a friend in Cincy for the day and we made a stop here to have a drink. At first I just thought it was a indoor bar with a side area for pool. Pretty cool. And then I went out back to the patio area. This is what made me really like the place. It was a large outdoor area that was enclosed for winter with that heavy plastic to keep to elements out. I loved how it looked like it was frozen in time from the turn of the century.Great outdoor space I'd love to see in the spring/summer on the next visit.Great beer selection on tap, too.

The food was horrible ,are party had about 25 people and they had 1 girl taking all are orders she gave us good service when the food was done we had to go upstairs to get it no one waited on usI had a hot brown I couldn't cut it with a knife it was just awful I wouldn't feed it to my dog we paid the bill Why I don't know and tip the girl well ,won't be coming back. And they knew we were all coming.

Actually pretty chill place. I'm not a fan of bars in general, but this place isn't super rowdy, they have food and it's not cheap by any means, but isn't egregious either. They have some really good daily specials too. Definitely one of the better bars I've been to.The staff was all very nice, very chill. The patio out back is fantastic as well.Vegetarian options: Nothing that's labeled vegetarian, but they have stuff like pretzels and fries and mozzarella sticks. Nothing I saw that was probably vegan besides maybe pretzels and fries.Dietary restrictions: Nothing gluten free sadly, atleast nothing I remember seeingParking: They don't have their own parking lot, so you have to either pay for a nearby lot or find some street parking.

I was in Cincinnati for 3 months contract job. I was away from friends but I found this bar where I felt I am backhome. All are more friendly and I enjoyed playing pool every Monday and Thursday is free pool. Thursday night is the best.If I ever come back to Cincinnati, I will definitely visit this place again. Great drink and best bartenders

If I could give zero stars I would! We just got kicked out because we ordered 3 top shelf long Islands and they all tasted different..... and none of them were good! The bartender just told us she made them all the same and we had to get out. That's just great customer service.....I will never step foot in there again!

I picked up a large carryout order for a group of people. This was the first time that I had been in Arlin's bar. If I were going to stay for a beer, it looked like it would have been a fun place to be, a cool atmosphere with an old bar I always enjoy. Our food was ready when I arrived and the person who brought the food to me was very friendly. I left a decent tip on a $80+ order. The food smelled good on my way back to work and so I was looking forward to my Philly cheese steak sandwich. I was very disappointed though when I went to eat my food. The hoagie bun was thicker than most and it was not fresh. The meat on the sandwich was hard and dry. There was a scant amount of overcooked peppers and onions. The cheese was not present. Shall we say this was the absolute worst sandwich I had ever been served in a restaurant? During lunch one of the co-workers who was sitting down the table even remarked as to what kind of sandwich I was eating. She was quite surprised when she heard that it was supposed to be a Philly cheese steak. There were other negative commentary as well about other people's food. The only person who was enjoying her burger thankfully was the birthday girl. I wish I could leave a better commentary about this lunch, but I cannot. If I were to give Arlin's a second chance I definitely would eat in. If my experience with the food would be the same, I would then be able to immediately send it back.

This is Clifton's Neighborhood bar..Laid back friendly Adult crowd. They don't have plant_based vegan options so I haven't eaten there..I would love to help them with their menu I applied to work their since I am a Vegan Plant_Based Chef and Kitchen Manager, I have not received a response.....Karaoke I think on Fridays... but they have plenty of beers and hard liquor to choose from. Free pool on Mondays and Thursdays... I am one of the pool players. $.70 cent wings on wednesdays...for the flesh eaters enjoyment. There is no gambling there. A lot of professional pool players; who love the game of pool.The pool hall house rule @ Arlin's Bar is "Ball in Hand..If you scratch or miss the ball entirely the person you are playing can place the white ball anywhere on the table they choose...for their shot.Just sign your name on the board and enjoy watching incredible shots being made until your up next to play. A lot people play doubles and Arlin's sponsors a pool league as well. I was offered a spot in the league...they are going to Vegas..Some of the Regular pool players who are there every Monday and/or Tuesday... the guys are: Sammie..Ken.. Myself...Brandon, B,and even a few ladies who got skills as well.

Love this spot! The drinks & foods are priced great and good. The staff whether on the top level or the bottom are friendly & engaging. Initially, I picked this pub for preconcert drinks 30 days ago for a 10/01 event. I have stopped by Arlin's every weekends before the concert and the regulars are truly important part of Arlin's success. Don't take my word, go and check it out.

Don't waste your time, UNLESS you are looking for rude, unpleasant, ignorant servers. My top shelf drink was watered down; I took it up to the bar, requested a new drink, was argued with, and told she would NOT remake my drink. She was verbally aggressive and offensive....maybe it's because I am not white. Go down the street to Gaslight. ☮️

This review might be a little one sided, I know the owners. Good people, good little college kids bar. Good atmosphere, it has a mix of young and old patrons. In fact I would give it Five stars but I don't visit bars and I don't hardly ever drink so I didn't get a chance to try the alcohol or the food so it really would be unfair and misleading to give it highest accolades

Arlin’s is a really nice bar and grill! It’s very much a sports bar atmosphere with TV’s and pool tables, but the service is excellent. The guy behind the bar (didn’t get his name) was very helpful with my group. The prices are incredible. $6 burger that was delicious! Will definitely be back.
