2 years ago I left a 5 star review for the alignment on my C7 Corvette!! The tech that did that work is no longer there, Very different experience this week with my C8 Corvette, They were unable to properly complete the job, however charging me extra for it anyhow. I was surprised to learn that they did not have a GM resource to guide them. When I returned home the fist day, Car was there 3 days for an alignment, I searched the GM service manual and discovered what they had done wrong on the rear of the car and why it was taking them so long. I then forwarded that information to them in hopes that this would give them the information they needed to finish the alignment. I was contacted by the manager at lunch time today and told that they were not able to align it to the Factory Specs. Also they needed the rack for 3 other customers and that I needed to come and get the car. I was then presented with a $330 bill for what is listed as a $129 alignment. When I looked at the alignment printout I saw that they had the right front close to correct however the left front is way off. 5.2 castor rather than the 8.0 degrees that is called for. Camber was set to 3.4 rather than the 3.0 that is called for in the owners manual and GM service manual.Manager listed several different excuses focused on her saying that you are not supposed to set caster on the rear. I asked her if she had read the GM paperwork that stated how to set the rear castor and that it had to be done. She said she had not read it but continued to very politely argue about. Was not willing to look or listen to what GM called for. I have spent $460 on my 2 trips there I now need to find another alignment shop and pay them to properly do the work. This business was recommended to me where I had tires replaced. I took my vehicle in for an alignment and they showed me a critical issue with my suspension. We had felt something was up but blamed it on the tires. Their facility is very clean. Staff go above and beyond to get you on a time table that will work with your schedule. They call for new parts as needed. They guarantee their work. They guarantee their parts. My vehicle ran so much better with the repair that I didn't know it needed. Customer Service was very good. I completely trust the mechanic work done as they freely showed me the dangerous problem. I realize not all things can be illustrated, but as a new customer it was reassuring that I wasn't being taken advantage of, because I was ignorant of the situation. It has been a few weeks and the repairs are still working solidly.My husband checked the price of the needed parts on line and their price was very similar. He also checked the general fee for the labor on this type of job and it also matched. Pricing and Fees are in line with what you should expect.I believe they are a good and caring business who take great care to do things correctly and give you honest feedback. Got a hole in our back tire while heading down the interstate. We pulled off immediately, and have never been happier to stumble across a hidden gem!The people were fast, friendly and efficient. They went above and beyond to help get us back on the road, including allowing our pets to wait inside in their ac and taking me to get the tire when they didn't have one our size.I wish them all the best and will recommend them to anyone who's looking to get their car worked on. Very great people, I came to get an alignment and my wheels balanced and I wanted them to look at my front end to see if they could make adjustments and they showed me my issue in about 10 minutes of looking at the underneath of my truck and he had showed me how my frame was bent in 2 different places and some other things that I was worried about they took care of immediately!! Great place great prices and one hell of a mechanic. Most definitely will recommend them to family and friends!

Had an oil change. Best price around but the impressive part was letting us know what was wrong with truck. Unlike others, he stated that both things didn't need to be fixed right now just watched. There was not a "take me to the bank" mentality. It was all about the safety of my vehicle and myself. I found a new mechanic!

Best experience I’ve had at a repair shop by far! Front desk lady was SUPER friendly. Came in for an alignment and was out within an hour. I had a broken wheel stud on my Kia spectra. I came in for a quote and they had it done in 20 minutes. Affordable, fast, and friendly. I made another appointment immediately to get more much needed work. They said they can repair almost anything but transmissions. Wich is fair because who wants to do that. Thank you A1 automotive

I came to A1 Automotive for a repair on my 1953 Ford. I had a drip from the gas tank when it was full. I was not aware of A1 so I visited other repair shops I had used in the past. They said no I really don't want to work on that problem. I visited A1. They said sure we will be glad to do it. The drip was caused by bad gaskets. Hard to get part so they made new ones instead. Nice people and very patient with any questions I asked. I now have my Son's Truck there for some repairs. I will not go anywhere else. They are my auto repair shop for everything. Period.
