Thursday, bought a single layer split strawberry boston creme cake for $10.99. The "boston creme" was ONLY on the OUTSIDE edges of the cake. Not the entire split layer as advertised. The bakery is a scam and store is a complete rip off. Basically, it ended up being a strawberry short cake, with no "Boston creme". It was very dry and the strawberries were nasty and wasn't fresh and it was a strawberry glaze of sorts. Not a happy customer. Giant Eagle, get it together. No reason to scam customers with your products, you already rip customers of with your prices!!

Why don't you carry more organic produce like the other stores? You have the smallest selection of organic anything than any other grocery store. Do people that shop in this location not deserve better produce or is the store manager lacking in his/her job skills? The other store locations have a much better selection will definitely start making the drive elsewhere!

They have plenty of free parking and handicapped parking and entrances.They offer online ordering and curbside pickup and delivery.They have a full service meat department. Unlike some grocery stores they have on site butchers who often check the dates of all fresh meats.They have a produce department with many items grown locally.They have a pharmacy and seafood and floral department. There is also a deli and hot food department.They are known for their baked goods and they can personalize cakes.They normally have several cashier's as well as several self checkout registers with an employee around to help.They have a large selection of wine and beer as well as state liquor.They have a family restroom as well as one for men and women.

Terrible experience every time. Your frozen items will thaw before you can check out. The management here is horrible and incompetent, and it shows. I will only shop here if this is the only store where I can find a particular good.

I needed a birthday cake for my daughter who absolutely loves Giant eagle cakes.I went in and tried to order a cake (I showed them the first picture and asked the replace "mum" with cali) and they told me no I had to order what was online, so the next morning I called and just asked if they could make me what I wanted... And I was very nervous because I just told them a light blue cake with white and yellow daisies, I WAS EXTREMELY NERVOUS BECAUSE I ALSO WASN'T THE ONE PICKING UP THE CAKE!!! (MY HUSBO WAS) we were wowed (the second photo is what we picked up) my daughter loved it (And that was the most important) but everybody else loved it too!They thought that I had paid a fortune for it too!!! This not only looked amazing The flavor and taste was amazing and it was one of the most moist cakes we've had from Giant eagle!!!!Thank you to whoever baked and decorated my daughter's cake It truly looks amazing!!!!!!!!!!Y'all would get 25 stars if I could!!!!

I cannot begin to express my disappointment. I ran in to grab a few items. Each time I’ve gone in, three times total, I’ve spent more time in the checkout line than it took me to shop. Only two registers open in the middle of the day?! Are you kidding me?! I waited at least 10 minutes in line and this has happened each time I’ve gone there. In addition, the prices are absolutely insane unless you have a giant eagle card. I spent $80 on a total of 13 items, items mind you that are pretty common to purchase (chicken, vegetables, eggs).No wonder hardly anyone shops here! There is absolutely nothing redeemable about this store. You are better off at any other grocery store in the area.

This Giant Eagle is a block away from a Walmart!Only reason I do go there is for the 5 for $25.00 which is a good deal for meat.Everything else is way over the top prices, just like Fishers grocery store!

Don't care for this location at all. The vegetables didn't look fresh, with the potatoes being particularly bad, starting to get soft and rot. Much better at other locations. The bakery is generally unimpressive most of the time. Biggest problem though is getting out of the store, often a 20 minute wait time to get through the checkouts, only 2 regular and 2 12 items or less were open this time. Last time they only had 5 open total then closed 2 of them, including the line I was in. I live close by and still usually go to a different location to shop.Update: checkout getting worse. Only 1 register open with about 8 people in line.

Close to home always clean atmosphere employees are hard working an helpful always there to lend a hand if needed tho been shopping here for many years back when it used to be Apple's. Love the deli food always stocked and fresh everything is easy to find. Tho at these times every thing is slowly going up on prices 🤷 but having a giant eagle card always looking for the best on sale helps. Cashiers are always helpful and polite and friendly always cheerful with a smile

I ordered fried chicken on Tuesday Feb 6, 2024, to pick up on Saturday, Feb February 10 at 5pm. When my husband went to pick up - no one was around for about 15 minutes. Finally someone waited on him. The 48 piece chicken was for a party. I was totally mortified - it was COLD, OVERCOOKED, and ver hard and DRY. I have ordered chicken before and was very pleased - this was UNACCEPTABLE!! Would like some kind of compensation!!!!!

This giant Eagle Rocks-. The staff n management are so helpful n kind. Always delicious deli food. Fresh bread. N many natural soap bars to choose from. The lemongrass is amazing. Very clean. Great place to shop. Ty

Already gave this location a bad review with Giant Eagle. The store was busy, and only two registers opened. The cashier and another employee did more talking than getting people checked out. No self check outs at this location, so I waited 20 minutes for 4 items. The cashier didn't say hello or apologize for my wait. She is unbelievably rude. I've heard others complain about this location, which I will never frequent again. Giant Eagle needs to do something about this. Their Alliance and store on the Strip are number one in service. Those locations care about customer service.

I'm a frequent GE shopper. This store has no self check outs. At 6pm on a Friday they had three registers open with at least 10 carts deep at each register. Customer Services was closed. Not having more cashier's was terrible staffing. I left without buying anything, there are too many grocery options available.

You get what you pay for, yes you might pay a little more. But you’re also getting better quality, better ingredients. This store is always well stocked, clean and the staff is super friendly very accommodating. I absolutely love getting my cakes from Giant Eagle they’re the best in town!

Unfortunately, I'm new to this particular area. I was went to this location SOLELY on Giant Eagle's reputation, and the Pittsburgh, and Allegheny County.Sanitary & Sterilizing are completely ABSENT. The complete environment is a safety & health fail. The Health Department of Stark County should be fired, IF he was aware of the multiple violations. From the side of the building closest to the bank where their trash is disposed, to the public refrigerated meats at the very back of the store.The "Fresh Fruits & Vegetable Department"Please see the photo of the 1/4 slice of a watermelon, I am very aware of INFLATION, However this same exact item, weight, and description I have purchased in a Pittsburgh location for $2.12. The $6.00 sticker price I almost fainted.I tried to place a delivery order to my location, like I have done since the year 2020. After navigating the app, which is never quite that easy until you chose the same store your previous items are saved. I tried choosing 4 different stores & NOT ONE WOULD DELIVER TO MY ADDRESS. Call customer support, she personally called 6 more as far away as Kent area, ALL of the stores would NOT deliver to (ME) , due to the area I live. I 'm insulated on a level that is a CIVIL RIGHTS VIOLATION. All of my previous orders, DELIVERY, or In Store has CREDIBILITY & AUTHENTICITY.IF this area that this particular location would loose their liscense to Sell Liquor, NOT Beer & Wine. I believe CORPORATE GIANT EAGLE SHOULD CLOSE THE LOCATION.I can give a credible opinion should really matter

Purchased all my Christmas Eve fish @ Giant Eagle. Squid & Smelts were really clean ! Also Smelts were nice size. Baccala (salted cod ) also nice. I did shop 3 G.E. to get everything because of delivery issues. The only thing I didn't like were Pepsi prices but that's on the Pepsi Co.

Got to the deli at 7:46pm, the reasoning for rushing in, of 2 guys talking, one says that I'm unable to get anything that isnt already cut... That's appalling... Tbh, no one wants to hear that...All the half gallons of milk were literally gone. And the full gallons expired in only 3 days...3 days! No joke...I'm really starting to hate this place...But its always clean and people are friendly for the most part...Which is why I keep torturing myself even going here, even tho I cant find anything anymore, and now, you have to question their service and products. Super dissapointed...

Its a goto for higher quality meats(filet mignon, etc) and fish(wild fish, wild salmon) opposed to a place like Walmart, etc. They are slightly more expensive overall. But worth the extra money.

Shout out to the produce department. Walking into giant eagle the other morning and the produce displays look amazing. Normally I’m never one to comment, but it caught my eye immediately. Keep up the hard work, it shows off!

Everything is easy to find. But particularly when it's busy, there is no excuse to not have your Express Lane open. Plenty of people go in only buying a couple things...and we don't have time to wait behind the person with an overloaded cart being rung by the slowest cashier in history. Y'all need to take a page out of Aldi's book. Speed is key.

Very ignorant people that don’t know how to do their jobs and will actively lie to you to try and get their points across. Worse customer service I’ve had in years. Claims that certain payments are no long accepted even when you show them evidence that the payment was taken. Has happened to multiple people that I know and they refuse to rectify their mistakes. Used to frequent this location but after this they ain’t gotta worry about it again.

Been a while but wow their Bakery must of had an off day no Italian bread and what was there YIKES! I don't know I guess I'm just used to Cromer it was clean people were very Friendly but Cromer still #1 just my opinion
