Brand new and clean. Much larger compared to other Drug Marts. Largest I have ever seen actually. It has larger selections; such as DVDs and Blurays to rent or buy. Large selection of beer and wine comparatively. Frozen and refrigerated foods. A selection of milk, dairy, meat and fresh produce. Groceries and a Deli. A lottery counter. Home medical supplies. 26 isles of Discount Drug Mart convenience. Household supplies, and oh yeah, a Pharmacy.

I live about a mile from this store so I go out of convenience and they are eWIC certified. So late day milk runs for my toddler often find us here. The store itself is great. Clean, well organized, always stocked up. However, I have issues at check out every single time I go. None of the cashier's ever seem to know what they're doing when there's a problem and just say, we are supposed to be getting new systems. Then when there is a problem the cashier's give you an attitude and act like you're the one behind the register. I had a manager ask me, Well do you have 4.99 to pay for it? After the register wouldn't ring up green beans on my WIC card. I just ran a WIC card and purchased all WIC items. No, I am not spending five Dollars because you don't want to do your job. I just cannot stand the lack of customer service because they refuse to update their system. Just get the new system you keep promising already!

Awful pharmacy customer service! If I could give 0 stars, I would.I went into this location looking for a particular item (BD needle clipper). The pharmacist was not familiar with it and in telling me she did not know what I was talking about, she was amused as if I made it up. I went to my car to get my phone, went back into the pharmacy and showed her a picture of the item. She said she never saw it there and advised they have sharps containers. She took me to where the containers are located, said, "and there are the clips" then walked away.From a customer service perspective, at least, pretend to check when a customer asks for an "imaginary" product. Also, an insincere apology ("I'm sorry, I did not realize we had these") would have been appropriate.

Friendly and fast pharmacy folks. Only had a few times where I’ve showed up for a prescription refill and their call in system didn’t relay the refill message to them. Hopefully, that gets fixed.

I went into your pharmacy a couple of weeks ago to get some over the counter antifungal treatment at the suggestion of my doctor. He didn’t warn me that there are thousands of antifungal treatments to choose from. I asked your pharmacist with red hair and she helped me choose the right one with the best price. My feet want me to thank her. A lot. Big difference.

Very disappointed at this establishment. I frequent this store, however today one of the employees chose to cuss at me, not to me, at me. I did not appreciate the managers response either. Signs need to be posted about things that are not common knowledge if there is such a strict policy about it. But above all, your employees have no business insulting customers.

Above and beyond every time! After driving 14 hours in one day to make it before closing, my dogs prescription was filled in a very timely fashion so he didn’t miss a dose and have a seizure, most reliable and friendly pharmacy in town and we’ll never go anywhere else.

This store has everything, just about. No furniture or major appliances, yet. LOL. They even have produce. 1 can even get perfectly ripe bananas for banana bread, on sale. It's clean. And the store associates are always very friendly and helpful.

I love ❤️ Discount Drug Store, being a New store & new customer here. I was pleasantly surprised how it was up & running smoothly! Everyone here is so Upbeat & professional. I still am looking forward to all the many things they have available. On a visit, I wasn’t looking great, and I said, “Excuse My appearance.” The Young Woman at the Pharmacy said, ( Not quote) that “She doesn’t judge anyone, she understands everyone isn’t feeling well.” I’m in health care. I was floored in a Good way, how well said, and comforting that was! ❤️🙏. Love the song, Discount drug store saves you the run around, we have everything at Discount.” Lalalaaa 🎵 🎶

I came here to leave a review about my checkout experience, which seems to be the same as yours.I have one arm in a sling, and was already struggling to hold three 2-liter bottles of soda. Sure, I could've gotten a cart I suppose, but that's not the issue.Only one register was open, as well as the tobacco counter. Two people were at that register, so I got behind the one woman being rung up at the actual register that was open. S-L-O-W cashier. So I watched the two people that had been in line at the other counter check out and leave. I almost decided to change lines, but that clerk just wandered away instead of calling other shoppers over.To my absolute fury, a clerk was found somewhere, and opened another register. Instead of calling for 'next in line, I'll take you on register 3' everyone from the back of my line hurried over to that newly opened register, and two of them got checked out and left before I did, even though I'd been waiting longer. I nearly threw the soda bottles on the floor out of frustration.DO BETTER, DDM. I love your store, but for God's sake, train your cashiers!

This store carries a little bit of everything. Their process are all low and the people are very friendly. The deli has an awesome variety! Try their broccoli bacon salad, fire roasted red pepper salad and their homemade cole slaw!

A very nice place to shop! The people are very friendly, and take care of you! I recommend this place! Seniors get 10% off everything except for maybe siggy's and beer, on the first Wednesday of every month!

My go to place for after hours such as prescriptions. The pharmacy closes at 10pm. The prices are comparable to places like Walgreens and Marc's. You may find a good deal here and there. Pharmacist was polite and helpful. The store is clean. Located at Washington Square a now thriving Plaza. I would reccomend this store.

So glad that Discount Drug Mart became the new anchor store after Giant Eagle Supermarket decimated our Oakwood Square shopping center for so many years by keeping the space vacant to reduce competition to their Washington Square store. We watched day after day, month after month, year after year as the shopping center became more blighted and fell in to blight. Now, all that has been changed as we watch Discount Drug Mart, one day at a time, one week at a time, repair, restore, renovate and renew our shopping center and our neighborhood. People who live in nearby apartments and homes can actually walk to Oakwood square now and shop for not only drug store items, but grocery and household items as well. I have filled a prescription at the pharmacy and picked it up at the drive through window. Wow. I never thought I would be doing this at Oakwood Square. We frequently patronize the in-store deli for fresh cold cuts, cheeses and noshing options. There is a bottled water dispenser at the entrance where I can fill my own jug of water, one gallon or even five gallons and pull the car right up to load the heavier 5 gallon jug when it is full. The new digital sign on Easton Road tells all the motorists passing by that Oakwood Square and Middlebranch Plain Township is alive and thriving instead of decrepit and blighted which is the legacy that Giant Eagle left in their wake. The old Pizza Hut and McDonalds nearby have been razed and were adjacent to Discount Drug Mart. SO HEADS UP, if you use Google Street View you will see those two restaurants on Google but they are gone and Google Street View has not been updated.
