Jan was wonderful with our cats! I felt at ease leaving them with her. She even let them out of their crates to explore around in her grooming room & sun bathe in the window. Our one cat cried when he got back home, I think he wanted to go back with his new friend, Jan. 😅 Highly recommend Cambrian! Very affordable, as well.

It was my first time leaving my 2 yr old Nala...She did fine..Carol seems to be a lovely caring person...nice environment and her kennels are nice and cleaned. Will see you next time

Our dog Flynn stayed for 6 days and he was very happy! He loved the owner and was well cared for and safe. The kennels are very secure because they are in a double fenced area. We are glad to have found such a great place for him to stay during the times when we are unable to bring him with us! The owner is an extremely kind woman and genuinely cares about animals and their complete well being.Update: Since this original post we have also had our other dog Oliver stay at Cambrian Kennel and Flynn stayed again as well. Both boys were happy and had a great stay. Wonderful caring and secure establishment!

I have been taking my dogs here for close to 10 years! Jan is caring, informative, and extremely professional with my dogs. I’m always at ease when they are boarded there. I wouldn’t take them anyplace else.

We've been bringing our redbone coon hound here for over a year. She loves it and is treated very well. Prices are reasonable. I've seen reviews on here complaining about Jan. She can be gruff, but she's wonderful with animals. I trust her and think she does a great job.

Boarded the dogs there for 1 week. Also had their hair cuts done there. Pros: affordable prices, cares for animals dogs hair cuts looked good when we picked them up, very flexible on pick up dates . Cons: phone answering procedure could use improvement. Perhaps answering the phones and identifying your business would improve flow of phone conversation. There is an odor in the dog boarding area that seems to be either cigarette or cigar, even with grooming the dogs had this odor on then when picked up which requires giving them a bath as soon as we returned home.

We love taking our dog Macie here! She always has a great stay when we go on vacation. The owner is wonderful, we know Macie is in good hands during her stay. She absolutely cares for the animals and it shows pricing is also very reasonable ! Highly recommend to anybody! Will be back again!

We bring our Airedale here. Beautiful property!! Here's some interesting info. When I walked up to the kennel to drop off my dog, it smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. I was hesitant, because I thought oh no my dog is going to smell like smoke.BUT I WAS WRONG! When I came back to pick her up, there was no smoke smell at all. I must have just walked up right after someone smoked a cigarette. Mia looked and smelled AMAZING!Airedales are hard to make look nice. She has a true gift.We could not have been happier.I am only writing this because I know some people are very turned off by cigarette smoke, but DON'T BE. Obviously the owners smoke (their prerogative), but if you smell it, don't worry, it she DOESN'T DO IT NEAR THE ANIMALS!!!They are the most wonderful people, too. Just gentle, kind women.Thanks!

Dropped our escape artist(hate cages and breaks free from all of them) Boxer, and our 10 month old Cane Corso off for the weekend. The boxer did great with no issues and they loved our Corso puppy. I was very nervous because its the first time we have ever boarded our babies and the experience was great.

I highly recommend board dogs here .She's absolutely great with mine. He comes home happy and clean. Prices are very reasonable. Also ask about grooming. An excellent job was done on my Newfie.

I was in a situation where I had to stay in a nursing facility after a major surgery . I endangered the recovery process by getting my dogs the vetting they needed to stay here. When I called to make arrangements to bring them in, she hollered at me about "dangerous dogs"..told me dog warden called her and told her so. Dog warden denies....i was willing to pay this woman 900 dollars a month( my income was only 920 a month) to care for my medical service dogs..and she refuses, last minute, based on a malicious phone call.

I am not IMPRESSED at all. Have had my dog home for about a week and she is completely changed. Acts like she’s been abused and hurt. She was also dehydrated once we had picked her up. She acts very timid now & scared when we touch her. I will make sure more people are aware of this, and I’ll be damned if I ever take my dog back to her EVER again.

In the middle of nowhere with another "Brown rd" in the same town. Got misguided by OnStar while going up to pick up our pet & extremely lost. Owner charged us an additional $20 for being an hour late & was extremely rude & short tempered when we called for help with directions. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Plus our pet & all of his belongings reeked of urine upon pick up.

If you are looking for a pet Springer Spaniel, I'd recommend you stay away from Cambrian at all cost. There is only one organization to whom I'd recommend this outfit. That would be the County Dog Rescue.
