Their tools are good, but to me, the way they advertise products is very unprofessional. They had a slip for an arched pickup loading ramp at the Fargo location. The guy said they were out of stock, and they don't take the slips down when they are out of stock. He said that Grand Forks had one in stock. I drove up to the Grand Forks location, and the only one there was the display. They wouldn't sell the display. To me, this makes absolutely NO sense to have a display item, with absolutely no item of that in stock, anywhere. This is what drives me to purchase from Amazon, before local stores. Like I said, the tools are good, just the advertised items need help.

Bought a "Bauer Hammer drill" there , and was quite pleased with it's price point & apparant quality. Purchased to replace my dead "Black & Decker" hammer drill. I am pleased with purchase and would recommend. Took one star off because staff members didn't seem to be too helpful.

The staff is amazing and the gals there really know what customer service means. Their cashiers go above and beyond to assist numerous customers and it shows every single time I’ve been in there. They never fail to try and assist the best they can.

I called habour freight about a broken light and I talked to sally in web support and she was the best ever help centre representative I have ever talked with polite helpful and very positive person I would give sally a 5 star plus she is the best

In a pinch and needed a high quality tool. I had already broke all my Craftmans and it was late and Harbor Freight was the only place open. Salesman claimed their house brand "Icon" would get it done. Can't say I believed him. But sure enough, the Icon tool did the job with ease where the Craftmans failed! The job not only got done, it was made easy with the Icon tools. Very impressed.

A pretty solid experience as this was my first time at this location and the staff were very helpful.I was able to find everything I was looking for. Got in, wandered every aisle found what I needed and got out.Lol!

Got the right tools at the right price. Cannot say enough about how the staff was helpful, professional, and courteous. Interacted with three different staff members: sales floor helped me find what I needed, and the coupon for item on my phone, cashier changed my email address in the HF system to ensure future sales notifications, and the manager knew to rub the static charge off my credit card chip to get it working. I've never really been a huge fan of Harbor Freight but I just went in for the second time ever. The first time was not a real great experience as the staff was very rude. Today I went to buy a sand blaster and they advertise three different pressure pot style blasters. I found them in the store and then asked staff for help they did eventually look the one I was wanting and then told me they didn't have any. I asked them to sell me the display and they said they can't sell displays. I proceeded to have them check on the other two they had displayed and the only blaster they had was the smallest of the three wich was not big enough for me. Needless to say I drove 100 miles for a tool that I needed for a job the next day and their sales team was terrible! As a contractor if I cannot get my clients something that I have in my possession I sell them mine. I won't be going to Harbor freight again.

I went in today. Got whag I needed went to the til. Paid cash. Gave the cashier $40. Two twenties. He than gave me back the wrong change. I corrected him and said I gave him $40. He said no you gave me $30. I than again told him no. And he said well I know what you gave me. And I than walked away before I got too heated. I will take my service else where. They have the WORST customer service. The guy got an extra $10 out of my wallet today. Hope you enjoy it.

I love this place. The tool quality has improved much over the years. I baught impact sockets and a 1/2" light weight ratchet. I was busting rusty nuts loose on old farm machinery that should have broke it . But felt solid to the end. And always helpful staff.

When you bring a large item out from the back for someone and you see they have an infant in the cart and are holding a toddler's hand... Maybe offer to help take it to their car for them. However, I can't expect impeccable judgement from someone with face tattoos.

This is definitely my favorite harbor freight for lots of reasons but the biggest reason is the service.A cashier named Amber helped me & she was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, not to mention she was fast at the register.She also gave good advice surrounding better tools and such for my projectI'd definitely hire her with no hesitation!

What I wanted was out of stock. They checked and it wouldn't be on the next shipment, and didn't know when they would get re-stocked. I ended up ordering on-line and shipped to my home. Not the stores fault. Supply chain problems seem to common right now.

I was looking for repairs for J D lawn tractor. Harbor freight isn't J D but it didn't hurt to try . Price was right but not sure what they had would work. Had it been my tractor I would have made it work

I went in to buy a wall safe. Got the wall safe and headed to check out. Found a few more little items and used my 20% coupon. After leaving Grand Forks, I looked at the receipt and found that they took 20% off one of the cheap last minute items instead of the wall safe that I asked them to use the coupon on. So instead of saving the $10 on the purchase, I saved $1.40 off. $5.00 lantern. This is probably going to be my last purchase from them. Sadly they feel it is ok to rip off your customers. Personally not very good business practices.

I absolutely love this store. I'm so thankful it's in Grand Forks. The location is a little off. But the parking lot is nice.Check it out you won't regret it. You can't go in that store and leave empty-handed. If you are a man it's impossible.Amazing prices. Super friendly staff and very clean as well. It's a must stop if you have balls.Check out their sales they practically beat Walmart.

Today's date, 03/13/2021, time 14h50, Called the shop since yesterday trying to follow up on a toolbox I want to buy, clerk very bad attitude yesterday. Phone today, same attitude, spoke to manager. lol! What can I say it just gets better. Dont even know how you can allow such a clerk close to any phone. Would love to say what I really think, but hey.!No comments. No recommendations. No service. No business!

Bought a 90 degree drill years back. I use it rarely so buying a cheaper tool was fine, especially since it did have a lifetime warranty.I went to use the drill and it did not work, I took it into the GF store and a lady with a manger title (Melody)? Didn’t know what to do but found a guy with another manager title who did. He asked for the receipt, I did not have it as I’ve had the drill for several years. He then asked for the phone number it was bought under, once again I’ve had it for some time and was unsure if it was under my number, my wife’s number or my old business number, I was then informed he could sell me a new one.Unhappy with the service!! Your business sells the item it’s yours and only your brand WARRANTY IT!!!

Got in & got some Tools I Needed to Restart My Tool Collection from the beginning again & got out pretty quick. I Like it cause They have Lifetime Guarantee. It's Worth Spending a Little more than going through Tools that are Cheaper cause it Costs Less in the Long Run. Than Buying Them after Every Job.
