The Flying J is always clean the staff is friendly You never have to wait for a shower . But today April 28 at 1000 am I tried to get a sandwich from the Subway for the 1st time in years as I had an issue with another Subway . Anyways I get to the counter and after 10 minutes the guy working there says in the most sarcastic voice he can have We're not open yet I ask When will you be open Now this time in a real sarcastic tone he say I'll open when I open Hey if you dont like your job go f8 d o e where you dont have to deal with the public I'm now done with Subway and i will never foul at them in Grand Forks ND again

Pretty good store for what it is , no hot foods and the gas pumps are down now , didn’t know why and only seen one open so I asked for fuel on it and the manager started cussing about them not supposed too be open. She definitely needs too check her attitude at the door cuz customers asking simple questions shouldn’t have too deal with unstable peoples attitudes over simple questions. Especially when the pump isn’t blocked off or anything.

The first four lanes of pumps on the diesel side are closed and being replaced. Cat scale is closed. Parking is limited. There is a Subway, but nothing much else in the way of hot food. Shower was filthy. Hair all over the floor and on the walls. I would say the floor hasn't actually been swept and mopped in weeks. Water never did get hot, just barely room temperature. Come on PFJ, you can do better than this.

This is an okay flying J the lot is a little cramped, the spots are wide but they aren’t really long and if you’re in the second or third row it’s very easy to get stuck because there isn’t really enough room to pull out with how far back the first or second row sit. The lot gets completely flooded when it rains so be careful and wear your rain boots lol. The DEF seems to break down a few times a week in the winter. The store itself isn’t what j expect from Flying j no hot food (wings or pizza) just a subway. The lounge is closed because of covid which is the most ridiculous thing ever. The staff are nice. The bathrooms need an update they are absolutely terrible.

This place ought to be ashamed. Second time I've bought a sandwich there and got sick. I could've played hockey with it and after I took a bite realized the meat was rotten. There just truck drivers though... they'll eat anything right.

This Flying J deserves a five star review because of the people and the cleanliness,, I always like to use my app to earn points on fuel ,, and use for my snacks and drinks with them,, including even the subway,, the showers are very clean and well-maintained

Worst Flying J in the state. Fuel issues and DEF issues all winter long. Absolutely terrible parking lot with garbage strewn about. As a professional driver, this is a no Fly zone. More closures tonight.

Feb27 fill up the diesel fuel full tanks trucks run only 1/4 mile clogged fuel filters, diesel full of Water got road service couldt start have to tow. Worst location ever tow co told me they tow with bad fuel every time they probably have hole in the tank. Flying J getting big complain, I am not paying for towing and services. This is ridiculous paying for Fuel getting WATER and plus big bills for towing

Absolutely the worst flying I've been to. They don't have anything marked for parking. Cone beating on your door because your in a paid spot. Once again they have nothing marked in the whole lot. Half the pumps are always down. Never have Def up and working. The people inside don't care and are lazy except one of the managers that runs the store and subway. She's very helpful. I'd recommend not to stop here.

This is a very basic Flying J with decades of wear n tear. The pumps are old and always breaking. Poor drainage so if there is any precipitation you are trudging through several inches of water. Snow clearing is always done late so have fun trying to park if its mild out. Think slip and slid while trying to back in your trailer.Bathrooms need an update from the 80's.Would be nice if they were also cleaned more often etc..They have a subway but would trade it for a Taco bell or anything other than Subway.I wish I could think of some positive points.Ok I have it, the transflow system here has a printer so you can have your ACI Emanifest sent here by Tranflow or faxed so you can get back to Canada.LOL!

Lots of goodies and odds and ends to see. The Sunday morning staff, 645 am, both greeted me with an enthusiastic "good morning." Makes you feel valued. Nothing on the rollers for breakfast, so settled for a bear claw. It was fresh and tasty. Wish someone would bring back a resturant. Great location and the old one is missed. Subway is Subway, but sometimes you want a good truckstop meal.

Tried parking my rv there for 3 days and they never said a word but called 5 police officers over to not trespass me but ask me to leave and accuse me of child neglect if traveling with a family I highly suggest going across town to the other truck stop

Truck stop with no fresh food at 12:15 on a Tuesday. Subway employee was there and working said he would open “in about 30 minutes”. Well that’s about how long our breaks are. Subway also has a sign that says they close at 7 taped to the counter. Useless stop if you’re just coming for food.

Subway closed. 4 Diesel pumps out of service. Never fuel there anymore after got water on my fuel two month ago. Looks like they just want to bankrupt that place

Been here a lot over the years. It's a rather well kept and clean travel center. It's got all the normal amenities and a restaurant. The food is actually not half bad and sometimes there is even a deal or two that puts it at regular fast food prices. I think the chicken strips are always a safe bet if your in a hurry. It's easy to get on and off the interstate from as well which is always big bonus.

The place is fine but these days we have to be a stickler about hygiene and when I use the restroom and there are no females in the store except the one clerk you see. Long story short there was someone really using the bathroom not just #1 y'all. And let me tell you they walked out of the bathroom without washing. When I left the bathroom I saw another female worker come from the subway side OMG I will not eat food here.

Great food, Great service! We used to stop in here for "Post Bar" meals and now come in when we are in town with the kids for a filling meal. The portions are huge, the staff is flexible (yes they will substitute some things). Free drink refills for a no frills fill your belly experience.I cannot comment on the truck parking, showers, etc. However the bathrooms are always clean, the refrigerators fully stocked and the gas ready to pump to keep you moving along the road.

This is actually one of the nicer J's. Restrooms and store in general are clean. People are polite from what I see something. Decent amount of truck truck parking. It is dated though. Pumps are hard to read.J's need to spend some money and update and repair many of their locations, just saying.Wouldn't mind having coat hooks in the stalls though. I mean, who doesn't have coat hooks in restroom stalls.

The staff from the flying j is very friendly and nice. The showers are very clean!!! For the truck stop I would give at least 4stars .Got a sub today from subway. This guy had the worst attitude ever. And he gave me an old dry bun which was totally disgusting.Paid 15$ and threw it away. Unacceptable!!!

Nice and clean. Employees were very friendly. Stopped in to fill up my propane tank and the attendant was marvelous. Easy on and off the freeway. Only thing I find missing was the sit-down restaurant. They do have fast food and sandwiches but no place to sit and relax.

This used to be five star when the restaurant was here, now. It feels like a convince store. But it's grand forks.Used to be my stop while working here. It's cold n windy here, plenty of parking at any hour. I so recommend eating before you get here. It's got great showers here. No G.m. here. So lazy is the atmosphere. I suggest eating at sta Mart before the run north.

Nice gas station. Everything from the bathrooms to the cafe to the service is top-notch.I've been going to the station for years before it was the Flying J and it is still that awesome atmosphere.It's also nice because it's on the west part of town just over 29 Bridge. The subway is a nice touch. The gas pumps work well for both truckers and people passing through. My favorite Station in Grand Forks by far.
