My mom had a stroke. I brought her dog in to have his nails trimmed and they were so kind and didn’t even charge me. They said I was dealing with enough already. They said to let them know if we needed anything. They do a good job of trimming, too!

Christy the groomer does an excellent job and has lots of experience with all kinds of puppies and especially my very active goldendoodle. She was very patient and loving with Riley. Definitely going back! The pictures are before the grooming. Will add the after pictures soon.UPDATE: I've added the after cut pictures (last few). Christy listened to how long we wanted Riley's fur and even shared great suggestions to help maintain a healthy fur in between visits. Also heard her mentioned keeping a note of the look/length I said I liked. My photography skills may not be great however Riley looks like he could be a fur model...until someone tries to make him sit still. 😉

This place does great cuts for pets! But they are not the best at running a business. I’ve called on/off for the past 2 years, left voicemails trying to get appointments with no luck (no one even answers the phone). We’ve gotten maybe 2 appointments in the 3 years we have lived here. SO VERY FRUSTRATING.

My baby Olfa first time going to the spa. What a great experience for him and for me. I felt very comfortable leaving him there. I didn't know how I was going to react to leaving him. They made me feel very secure that they was going to take care of him. I left with a peace of mind. He went with the young lady like he had been knowing her a long time. Ruff Cuts Pet Spa done excellent grooming on my baby. Thanks to them for making this a great experience for us.We will be coming back. 💞

I called a week ago and was told no appointments available for 3-4 weeks. I was called a few days later and was offered a cancellation spot. So very thankful! My puppy Kensi had never been groomed and at 18 weeks was a very squirmy and playful puppy. Jimmy did an amazing job and offered me suggestions to make the next visit easier for Kensi.

These folks have been bathing and grooming our three year old 74 pound golden doodle Zak for the past-6 months. They are very professional! The only negative is the busy road in downtown Youngsville. I am happy to recommend them!

I took a bad fall on driveway Friday and totally bruised left side of body plus face. Thinking that Patches appointment was for Sept 26, I had to call to cancel but my grandson read schedule and told me it was Sept 28. Upon receiving the voice message I left, they responded by text even though their phones were out and said they canceled his appointment. Several texts back and forth later and apologizing for getting dates confused, I could not be happier with politeness and consideration given to me by Ruff Cuts in helping me out today and Patches keeping his appointment on the 28 as well as their sincere wishes for me to get well. Thank you all at Ruff Cuts from the bottom of my heart.

Christy did an awesome job. My Bischon is 10 months old and very frisky; and she was patient and professional. The receptionist was also very helpful and professional. This was my first visit but I will be back and I highly recommend this place.

Updated 2023: The phone is still never answered no matter when they are called. I was told by a friend not to even bother trying to call but I thought I would give it a shot one more time. I don't know what I was thinking.Original review:Their bathing and grooming services are fine. However they rarely answer the phone during business hours. They are also usually booked up way ahead of time without many openings. Communications when the phone is answered, they are not very friendly.

We LOVE Ruff Cuts! Would give 10 stars if I could! I have a long haired cat and it is very challenging to find cat groomers. Mike does a fantastic job and is truly a miracle worker! He takes the time with my girl Zelda to brush her and doesn't jump straight to shaving. He impressed me every time! Very very happy that we found Ruff Cuts groomer!

My boy Milo went to this spa yesterday,for the 1st time I was nervous because my schnauzer is afraid of grooming, I was so excited to see my baby when I got home from work, he looks fabulous ,they took their time with him, my puppy never looked this good, I am so grateful ,and relieved, we finally found a place that does this work, with patience and dedication,,thankyou so much for taking such good care of my baby boy,,

I made an online appointment for my dogs and accidentally booked them on different days. I called up and explained, but said I understood if they can’t be fit in on the same day. The woman on the phone was sympathetic and kind, immediately made sure I could get both my dogs in that same day rather than waiting. The curbside drop off was perfect. My dogs are short haired so no grooming was needed, but they came home smelling glorious, with soft shiny coats. Cute little bandanas too!Highly recommend, I’ll be back periodically for sure! Price was more affordable than I expected as well.

My pups love coming to Ruff Cuts! We followed Jimmy over from another grooming place because he’s just that good! He’s super nice & listens to what you want done. But also gives advice when needed. Sheri (forgive my spelling) is always super sweet answering the phone & taking payments. Highly recommend Going here for sure!

This place is truly amazing! They take such great care of my 2 dogs. One is a border collie and the other is a rat terrier Chihuahua mix. Every time I call they are always very welcoming and very friendly; customer service is always 100%. If you're looking for somewhere to bring your pets that is a local shop, I would highly recommend coming here. If I could give it more stars I would! They will treat your animals great and with care!

I had a great experience today with my 3 dogs Ivy Bella and Beanie they all had baths nail trim and beanie had been groomed they smelled so good very cute bandanas well brushed my one Chihuahua beanie needed grooming he looked so good feet were trimmed under is paw pads he could walk better on the floor now. very happy with ruff cuts they did a awesome job definitely will be back the and prices are very good.

I took my dog here for the first time today. I have always taken her to a different groomer who is known for being affordable, but have been frustrated that they never seem to listen and every time I picked her up, she looked a bit ridiculous. Today has been a completely different experience. They explained exactly what they were going to do, as well as showed me the approximate length they would cut her hair to ensure I was happy with it prior to leaving her with the groomer (Megan). Megan did an excellent job and Bailey looked great when I picked her up. We will definitely return. :)

Ruff cuts prices were comparable to the Pet Smart salon (actually a bit cheaper). And the service was EXCELLENT. They were efficient and friendly. They did exactly what I requested and Grace looked wonderful. We will definitely be back!

Took my pittie there today for the first time and they did an awesome job!! She got the full service! Bath, blowout, nail trim, everything! I was worried that she wouldn't do well because she does not like to be groomed, especially does not like her nails to be trimmed... however, they said she did great. She looked and smelled fantastic and her nails were short, again! Definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back!

I can’t say enough positive things about Ruff Cuts. I took both my pups in today. The staff were fast, friendly, and listened to what I wanted. I have a Border Collie/Golden mix (so we think) who is a lot to brush. I was shocked at how beautiful she looked in under 2 hours. I’ve been places that have taken 5+, to only make her look ok. The price point is also very reasonable! I’ve already made another appointment for them to go back!

I've taken my dog twice now and have had an excellent experience both times. They have taken very good care of my dog, he smells, looks, and feels clean and his nails are nicely trimmed. Would definitely recommend them.

They do a great job and are very understanding. They do not use cheap shampoos like most local groomers and they make you feel like your pet and business is appreciated every time you call even if it is to cancel an appointment. We have been a happy customer for over two years now.

They do cat grooming here as well as dog grooming. They do the best job of furminating that I have ever seen ! Great staff who does a great job. The owner, whose name is Mike, is top-notch and you can tell how much he cares for all of the animals that they see. Great prices! We have tried several groomers, and to give you an indication of how good they are, we drive over an hour just to take our pets there! I also found out by talking to other customers when I was there once that we are not the only ones who drive an hour or more to go to Ruff Cuts.

I love Ruff Cuts Pet Spa. I have taken my dog here for 7 years and I will never take him anywhere else. Avie is the best groomer!! She loves your dog like it's her own. My dog doesn't like to go anywhere else. I highly recommend her to all of my friends and family!!

Ruff cuts Pet Spa is great. I took my Golden Retriever there to get a nail trim. He is a rescue and had been mistreated in the past. He can become aggressive in unknown situations. I normally have to muzzle him. Mike, the groomer, took time to pet my dog and let him get used to him. He didn't need a muzzle and he even was able to trim the fur around his paws. It was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend them.

I have two Yorkie-Poo dogs and their hair tends to grow really fast and gets stringy. I have taken them to a couple of groomers in the area but Ruff Cuts by far has done the best job. My dogs look great, and I got the impression while I was there that the groomers and owners actually really care about their clients, and their dogs.
