Arrived on Friday morning at 0930. I'm still waiting for my trailer to get unloaded. Just found out that shipping and receiving is closed on Saturday at noon and closed on Sunday. Now I have to wait until Monday morning to find out something. If you are a owner op or company driver other than CR England. Don't bother coming here. Unless you like waiting. Circle K has little parking. If you have any pets. Don't bother coming here. You will be told to get off property until your trailer is loaded or unloaded. There is sign that says that if you have a pet. It has to stay in your truck. But that's a joke. I would give this place a zero stars if I could. I know me and my company doesn't like this place.

My Name is Donovan-H I came to this location for a Drop and hook They have overnight parking, but if you do have a pet on board, you cannot park overnight other than that it is pretty quiet pretty cool place. The staff has been really nice to me very relaxing

Must have trailer washout receipt before you enter. Check in with guard shack. Scale onsite. Dropped our trailer, went to pick up our loaded trailer and reefer was not on with product inside of trailer.

Nothing like a drop & hook window that you sit and wait until the end of the window. Why not schedule a window when the load is going to be ready? Literally makes no sense and only hurts the drivers pocket by sitting when they have a full clock. When I run 0 hours in a day I make $0. When I run 0 miles I make $0. I made $0 today.

Preloaded trailer was ready before i arrived for my appointment. Lady at guard shack was friendly. Yard dogs very kind and willing to help if needed. Place doesn’t smell like death either lolO/n parking. 10/10 i have no complaints. Shippers like this make my days so much shorter and my job just a tad easier.

Easy drop & hooks, my second time here, guard shack workers are always super nice and helpful, esp the ladies working right now. The yard dog was extremely helpful in wedging my trailer out of a tight spot and raising it up. Plus overnight parking. Also one of the only meat plants I've been to who's smell doesn't make you think about going vegan. Would absolutely come back again and again.

Load was three hours late, as soon as it was ready their system went down, two hour wait on paperwork. Great, only get 7 hours of sleep before I have to leave to make load on time, at least they got overnight parking, right? Why yes they do but two hours into my rest break, shifts changed and new yard driver woke me up asking if I’m loaded instead of just getting up to see if trailer is sealed. Great! Don’t get to sleep either, Thanks Guys! Been up 24 hours and get to Push 600+ miles tomorrow on 4 hours of sleep just to make load on time. Won’t be coming back.

Amazed at how friendly everyone is at this location. I've never felt so welcome before as a driver. Unfortunately the shipping/receiving office is not very good at contacting the driver to keep him informed even after waiting for over 24 hours to pick up a loaded trailer.

They really need to pave the trailer lot. Other than that it was a drop and hook. Gurad shack gives you your bills on the way in. Drop the mt, grab the loaded and vamoose. Plenty of room to back assuming you don't drown in the ponds or sink your truck trying to pick up your loaded like I almost did.

Never been here before but won't mind coming back! I was in and out in no time and it was also really nice to be greeted at the gate by a sweet, wonderful smile and a hello!! Miss Carla seems to enjoy her job and it shows. Nice to be treated like your not bothering someone when we arrive to do our jobs! Look forward to coming back.

It's a decent place to work. Money is okay but you will work. This work is very fast paced and due to the nature of the work, your hands will be extremely painful for about 4 to 5 months until they get accustomed to the work. Supervisors aren't really involved in day to day operations. Many are new so line workers have more experience which makes the day frustrating at times. If you keep this in mind and just go to work to make a living and don't take anything else personally, you'll be fine.

Every employee that I came in contact with today was incredibly sweet and helpful (from the two ladies in the guard shack to the yard guy). I would gladly come here again and again. I had a drop and hook and was in and out in about 30 minutes.

Lady at the front gate was hilarious. Super-charming. Made my day really. Drop and hook is relatively easy, with the drop lot on one side of the building and the trailer lineup along the back. Easy to find. Easy to maneuver. No complaints.

Easy in and out process, competent and friendly guard. Downside is the trailer lot is dirt and very rough. I was here after a storm so there were mud pools sized everywhere between manhole covers and tractor cabs.

Load was suppose to be ready at 7am we showed up around noon. Load was not ready and they don’t allow dogs at all (even if they stay in the truck) on there property was told to drop the trailer and then leave immediately and wait for a phone call for our load. We didn’t get a call until 2am so be prepared we even work for a big company with multiple trailers on there lot. Closest truck stop and scale in 30 minutes away.

Granted I was given load late which caused me to be late, but they placed too much weight on the front end of trailer after taking 6 hours from arrival time to load me. Came back and it took them another 7 hours to rework their mess up. They allow you to finish a break at the back of their property and they have restrooms.

If you're a trucker make sure you get there in a timely fashion we waited almost 24 hours for them to load a trailer. Then got told it was supposed to be done at 7pm the night before. Not alot of communication here.

Was told our appt was at Noon. We arrived on-time. They don't allow dogs even though ours is pottied before arrival. He wouldn't be out of truck. We leave premises. Was 5 min from accepting a different load & they called at 3:30 pm wanting our trailer to be dropped for loading. At 7:00 pm we are finally loaded & leaving. What a crock! Hold a driver (team) hostage when we were told the load was ready at noon.

No pets of any kind allowed to be on premises. You can spend the night there is you don't have pets. Speedway DOESNT have parking

They are direct contract with CR England, if you are CR England drivers, you will drop and pick up preloaded trlr very quickly. If you are outside carrier driver, good luck with this company. I recommend you come here along low hours on ELD, because you will able to reset your 10 hours ELD during they are very slow download live loading more than 9 hours!!! I got bill about 11 hours since i was here for picked up the load! They didn't care about your schedule but will keep you so long like sitting in the prison. I gave one star because they provide the restroom for driver.

I use to work here and the place is terrible. The supervisors are so disrespectful and if you not sleeping with the them they treat you any kind of way. HR department never solves the problem when you have an issue. They brush things under the rug. I wouldn’t recommend no one to work there until they show BETTER changes at this plant.

This place is fairly clean for a meat plant, Overnight parking is available. Be advised, there are no signs, but this facilities doesn't allow dogs. You will be turned away. I gave them 3 stars for not publicly displaying the dog policy, and because they have overnight parking without facilities.

It was supposed to be a pick up at 11am🤦‍♀️ didn't get it until 8pm🤨Tried sh/re and no one answers the phones. Sec dont know nothing 😤Drop in hook bull, luck good here.It got 1 star for having a clean outhouse😳

Ok Corporate. Y'all seriously need to pave the back parking lot. I feel sorry for the yard dogs having to work in this kind of environment. There's a freaking pond in the middle of the lot that's never gonna dry up. Gravel apparently ain't working. It's a shameful mud pit y'all call a trailer lot.

I left because I got tired of being harassed and having to fuss with coworkers EVERYDAY!!! I had to go to Human Resources on my 2nd day because I was being harassed and nothing was done but they stress this policy in orientation and suppose to have a open door policy. They care about certain employees. That’s one job that I quit and never looked back. This was not Wilson it was the Kinston plant.

Can't blame sorrynest.... This place is what it is, however I'll choose very carefully if I take a load here again. If the price is right 2K will be worth the wait Detentions not designed for OTR drivers

Great experience got there waited maybe a half hour and in the dock loading was fast they are really nice from the gate guard to the loading dock 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽💯

I went to here on a service call. Didn't get to tour the plant but everyone I encountered was nice. I almost felt like I was a true part of the Smithfield family, not just a vendor on site for repairs. Every one I interacted with made me feel like I was welcomed.

Is this the location of the old Dinner Bell Foods Plant in Wilson? If I recall, Dinner Bell closed it down in the late 80’s or early in the 90’s. Thanks for any info. If the DB plant was at a different location, appreciate it if you could provide an address. Thanks
