Terrible experience at Petsmart in Wilson. My family moved here a couple years ago, so it's been 2 years that I've been a customer at this store. We buy stuff our cat, dog and fish. So far the experience has been good and acceptable until yesterday.One of the fish I purchased last week died within a few days and we brought the fish in to exchange for a new one. Then, this rude and ill mannered employee in the fish department was rudely telling us she wasn't going to sell us any fish. She said she has seen us consistently coming in with dead fish. We have informed her that our family moved here a couple years ago so that's when we started coming to this store. We've only purchased fish there a handful of times since then. This is actually the second time since then that we exchanged a dead fish. She proceeded to continuously scold us on how we don't know how to care for fish because we've been bringing back too many which is not true. As she continued to scold us, she put herself between us and the fish. She even stretched her arm out so I couldn't look at the one I was interested in.When we realized this wasn't going anywhere, we told her this is enough and we weren't going to buy any fish , she continued to say "I will not sell you any fish". After all this happened we went to the cash register to get our money back. We let the cashier know about her behavior and what she has said and how she treated us. The cashier profusely apologized for that employee's nasty behavior. This is what she said "she can't hear her tone and how it comes across to people because she has 3 kids that she has to raise her voice at...".I was very upset and am still upset over this incident. Petsmart absolutely has the right to not sell anything to a customer which i respect but this individual does not have the right to treat their customers like this. I believe they can make suggestions but they have no right to impose or force anything onto the customer.I didn't catch her name but she's an older lady with gray hair. I've never seen anyone that looks like her there so she shouldn't be hard to miss. I would avoid buying fish while she's there.

Fastest and friendliest service in all of Wilson. I highly recommend the grooming salon. My pup is high energy and the staff is so patient with her. The pet care dept is very knowledgeable when you ask about different animals they sell. The cashiers are always so cheerful and the store is always well stocked and clean.

I took my toy poodle to pet smart in Wilson Sunday to have her washed , paws shaped up, and nails filed down. I even told them about her dry skin. And I am telling everyone . They are the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! These young folks take their time, know what to do, and truly love your pet . They exfoliated Zoe’s dry skin and her coat and skin is gorgeous! This is definitely where my lil Zoe will be coming. I apologized because I knew Zoe gets really anxious and that makes it bad . Ryan said no mam we don’t call dogs bad they just get over excited . They did a wonderful outstanding job!!!!! I already scheduled her next grooming appointment with Ryan !!!! Thanks pet smart in Wilson !!! I give you all a 110 thumbs up!!!!!!! Thank you so much .

If I could give the grooming salon 0 stars I would! Took my dog in to get a bath and haircut and when I picked him up my dog had been completely shaven! My dog is a great pyrenees and poodle mix, so he was covered in long beautiful hair which is brushed daily! What they don’t fully explain to you is exactly how short they’re cutting them. They use an example mat which clearly needs to be updated because the one she showed us was not what we got when we picked our dog up. It seems like they rather just shave the dogs hair than to actually brush them. The salon manager is a real piece of work and that's putting it lightly. Very rude to the customers and dogs. Observed her yelling at a dog upon arrival because he wouldn’t keep still. Beware because this behavior makes me queation the treatment of the dogs in her care. Should’ve known then to just take my dog back home. Lesson learned. Will not return there for any grooming services at all! The manager on duty in the actual PetSmart was very helpful and did her due diligence to assist.

Took my son to get a pet for his 13th birthday. We met Rebecca. She was absolutely the most kind and patient person. She is so very knowledgeable about every single thing in this store. She took her time and told what we did and didn't need. We are new to owning a hamster but I can say, she made sure we felt comfortable before we left. She suggested the type of animal, cage, food, toys and more. She knows so much. The wilson store is lucky to have her! If you are looking a pet, she knows all about them. Thanks Rebecca for making Jackson's 13th birthday purchase so easy. We appreciate you!! !

If I could give a grooming place a 0 I WOULD. I have a 10 month old shih tzu he was really matted (nothing his old groomer couldn’t handle) but they gave him clipper burn and I think they pulled his leg to hard. He got groomed Saturday and it is now Wednesday and he dosent want to play, can barley walk to use the bathroom.. and seems really sad. One thing about my dog is that he has always been very very active, very playful, etc . After i take him to this groomer for the first time, he comes back sad, can barley even walk? Something isnt right! I got a full refund but that does not change the fact that my dog isnt the same anymore! ( He has been more matted than this one time, and he has never EVER came back from a groomers like this)

Went in for honeysuckle catnip. They only had one brand in stock. The cat toy section was bare walled. I didn't even get anything I went in for because they did not have anything worth getting. I spent some time flirting with the birds and using the front facing camera to show the birds themselves because the store did not care to give half the birds mirrors. My phone got soo many kisses coming at it because those poor precious little birds had not seen themselves in so long or never at all. The employee tried to BS explain why the birds didn't have mirrors. Ive had much larger birds that never damaged a mirror made for a bird. The employee I spoke with was not even aware that the guinea pigs were african rodents. This store used to be alright. Now this petsmart location is just like the world in general. It isn't working, it doesn't make any sense and the people in it have no idea what's going on or even what they are talking about.

This Wilson location did a horrible job on my Yorkiepoo. We drove over an hour for service, and after 5 hours they still wasn’t finish with my baby. Shaved all his hair off and did didn’t cut around face or legs. Do not recommend, they are the worst!

After a bad hair cut and an upset dog my neighbor suggested I call PetSmart in Wilson for my Yorkie, the next time he needed to be groomed. I called PetSmart and so thankful that I did!! This is an upscale pet salon! I tell my dog that he’s going to have a day at the spa because Rachel and Amber take exceptional care and time to groom him. He looks beautiful in his show coat when he walks out and he’s happy!We are over the moon with Amber and Rachel and highly recommend them 🐶

Our sales person seemed annoyed to help us as we asked questions about our purchase. We bought over 20 fish and 3 have died within 24 hours.Another salesperson was very knowledgeable and assisted us as well, she was much more friendly.

Absolutely awful customer service here. Curbside pickup is totally useless and they obviously can't handle it so the signs need to be taken up. Either you call and they don't answer or they say they're coming out but never do. My husband went in to get our order after we were told someone was coming out and he was told to get in line. We had already paid online. They literally just had to hand it to him. They then had trouble finding my order. On top of that, they were so rude. There are way better places to get supplies for your pets.

We went in knowing we were going to get "Starter Fish" for my grand daughter, and we asked for help! The young lady seen that my 2yr old grand was in Awe,so she decided to make sure she loved her fish! She grabbed to 2 that didn't look like any others and took probably 4 or 5mins to do it! I loved it. She could have easily scooped and put in and left,but she made sure paying under $1 wasn't relevant...Thank you

My fiance and I walked into the store from a long day at the office wanting to look at/adopt 2 kittens. We had already budgeted and planed to spend at least $300-$400 in the store today for all kitty paraphernalia. However, the 2 kittens we were looking at had to go back with the rescue due to one of them being sick. The pink haired employee saw us standing there in front of the adoption center, but only spoke to us to say one kitten wasn't doing so well, absolutely nothing else in the way of acknowledging we were standing there. After the rescue owner picked up the sick kitten and left, the pink haired employee walked out from behind the door where the cats are housed and in the opposite direction without ever speaking to or acknowledging our presence/existence, asking if she could help us, or simply saying "I'll be with you in a moment". ZERO Acknowledgement. In fact, she barely even looked at us the entire time she was around the area. Frustrated and annoyed at the sheer blatant lack of of anything remotely resembling customer service, we walked out and decided to drive to Greenville and spend our money at the PetSmart there as that we've always had very good experiences at that location. Not to mention that I have also adopted several pets from that location as well. However, being that my office is in Wilson (I'm a cyber security analyst), we decided to stop in while we were still in town. But, we won't be making that mistake again. The store is obviously in massive need of a great deal of improvement in training (perhaps a depiction and definition of what actual customer service truly is) or a much better staff all together.Update: We went to store in Greenville, adopted 2 kittens, and spent $500 there.

They list grooming as a service. It's true. They have the full pride flags at the register. I am just turned off by that. I spend a lot of money here but I'm done. I'll shop elsewhere, spend my money where they don't spread that "religion"🚫

I really like this location. The store is clean and the employees are friendly. The foods are reasonably priced, but unfortunately, PetSmart does not offer a line of reasonably priced treats for dogs. For those, I have to go to Tractor Supply.

Heiress received care from Rachel and as usual she was a happy dog after her bath nail clip and toothbrush. Rachel is always booked up atleast a couple of weeks out but with the great care she gives our dog I can understand and happily wait and just book in advance. I feel like she treats our dog if if she is her own while our dog is in her care. I get a good feeling every time she runs to the back to her.

My husband and I went looking at a gift for my son. Rebecca in the Wilson, NC store was extremely helpful and informative! She was really a wealth of knowledge! It will be because of her that we purchase several hundreds of dollars worth of stuff. Pet smart needs more passionate employees like her! Thank you Rebecca!

I picked up something off the shelf...went to pay for it & was told "you can't buy that, it's marked for donation." Awesome. Please don't put any items on the floor that customers can't buy. I drove to this location because it said online it was available & in stock...well both were true except for the fact "I wasn't allowed to buy it." Going through the negative reviews I see this hasn't only happened to me.

Really nice staff. I always find what I need here. They also offer pet services, like grooming and have work with a rescue to help find some animals a good home. Seems reasonable prices too, similar to prices I find online for same products I buy. I am looking mostly at products for cats. I cant say enough about the rescue they work with, they are excellent and knowledgeable.Update: these days, cat food, for my brands at least, and cat litter have been in short supply. Im sure its due to supply chain issues that are everywhere.
