I went into Woof Gang because the store/grooming had been recommended to me by many people. I was looking for a tiny dog harness for my 5lb puppy. Which is somewhat difficult to find in Wilmington. However, I was greatly disheartened by the treatment I received. Upon entering this establishment, I was not greeted or acknowledged in any way. The two male workers were up at the front entrance of the store talking. Even as I continued to shop the products, there was still no acknowledgment. I even had found an harness I planned on purchasing. About ten minutes later another woman came in and was immediately greeted. She was asked, if she needed any help or was there to pickup a dog from grooming by any chance. These men seemed perfectly happy to engage and interact with this woman. After, I immediately put my selected items down and left. The whole interaction just left a bitter taste in my mouth. Greeting and acknowledging is the easiest part of a retail job (I have worked retail for several years myself) and Business 101. Completely ignoring customers is not okay and frankly unkind. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. If you want a fantastic groomer, VonBarkees and Dapper Dogs are friendly and welcoming! Best Day Ever Dog Boutique and Unleashed are great as well!

This has been the best place for my Cavapoo. She loves her groomer, Andy. Her stay here is usually about 90 minutes. They do a great job every time. The entire staff is helpful and friendly. The store is very clean.

I would give zero stars if I could. I have a two year old golden retriever/ Samoyed mix dog. He was scheduled for a hair cut and when I spoke with the groomer before the appointment I verbalized multiple times I like him long and fluffy and to not take more than one inch of his fur, however he does need a good sanitary cut. When I picked him up from his appointment the groomer had SHAVED HIS ENTIRE GOLDEN RETRIEVER/ SAMOYED COAT! HE WAS SHAVED AS IF HE WAS A GOLDENDOODLE! There was no reason to shave his fur as he did not have matted hair upon drop off. I called the groomer (i believe her name was McKenna) after the appointment and verbalized I was very upset as I requested long and fluffy and please don’t take more than one inch off of his fur. She was extremely rude over the phone and BLAMED ME FOR THE HAIRCUT! I said he is a golden retriever I would never ask for him to be shaved as his coat is meant to be long. I’m very upset especially when it cost $180. If i would have known she planned on shaving my dog I would of left immediately and cancelled the appointment! I would leave zero stars if I could. IF YOU HAVE A GOLDEN RETRIEVER BE AWARE!!

I love going here. No matter who is working, they are always very friendly and helpful. They always have what I am looking for and my dog loves going here. Treats and toys are abundant. Very clean inside and outside. I will be returning and recommending!

Been here a few times now and they are always helpful! Our pooch was having stomach problems and needed a change in her food, they gave us more free samples than I honestly felt comfortable taking and I was genuinely happy overall with my visit. The next time I came in they were again helpful with picking out the exact dog food to get based off how mine reacted to the samples. I've since bought toys and other products here and will always buy my dog food here because businesses like this need to be supported simply because they care.Also if you come in at the right time you'll have Coco following you and keeping you company, 5/5 stars. The first time that I shopped here, the owner was super friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the dog treats and products. This last time that I went, it was a lady who seemed very annoyed by answering any questions, spoke very matter of factly, and overall had a poor attitude.I had used the gift bags to gift little treats in 3 separate bags resulting in her pulling each one out individually because ‘they are all different prices’. But yet she watched me bag them up and didn’t clarify until I was at the register. Then watched me bag them back up after she rang the treats up. They were see-through baggies that obviously wouldn’t have been difficult for her to see which treats were what. Seemed very intentional in being difficult rather than friendly. Please reevaluate this employee. She will drive customers away with her negative energy.The exact opposite experience that I had the first time that I shopped. Friendly staff should be priority number 1 when it comes to local businesses. This lady should get a job where she interacts with no one.

We always stop here for treats for our pups when visiting Wrightsville. I like that I can get an amount of my choosing from the glass jars, but packaged treats are also available. Nice selection of accessories and toys as well. The folks here are super nice, doggos too. Fun selection of treats not found anywhere else and our pups approve!

It's not always easy finding a good cat groomer, but they were able to set up an appointment for me right away. I was impressed by the fast, quality service Alyssa provided and my cat was very calm and looked great when I picked her up. Looking forward to returning soon.

The gentleman at the front desk (I believe his name was Ernest) was very knowledgeable about the dog food and products in the store. Gave great recommendations, especially for a first time dog owner like me! The grooming salon is also really wonderful with my dog when I bring him in. Thanks WoofGang team!

Grooming of my long haired dog was done with a shaver which I never asked for. He was to be trimmed and shaped up with scissors. They took all of his fringe from his front legs. The shave job looks so choppy and uneven as if someone who has no idea how to groom did the work. I will never go back.

We have been taking our pomeranian to be groomed here for 3 years now and Beth never disappoints! She is warm and welcoming and I have never felt uncomfortable leaving my girl in her care. She is also very timely with her appointments which I have experienced with groomers in the past taking 3 hours or more. Highly recommend having Beth as your groomer! FYI- they only accept cash tips in a jar out front so be sure to bring it with you on pick up.

I have no words to describe how much I’m impressed with this place! After 2 bad experiences that traumatized my puppy my dog walker took Rio to this place and it’s the 1st time I see Rio happy coming from the groomer! Extremely clean smell amazing and beautiful haircut!’ Don’t think twice this is the BEST place in town!!! Totally worth the wait!!!

Always helpful, always friendly, and they have some premium products I can't find at other places. They remember me (and my dog) every time I visit. They've also got some great homemade dog treats and often include some with my orders. I highly recommend them to every pet owner!

I came there today to get some organic treats for my elderly dog. Debbie was absolutely so helpful and kind. Her patience and Care was Bar None. We really appreciate it and we would be back to spend much more of our money at Woof Gang Bakery. Thank you so much DEBBIE!!

My husband and I are new to town and went to Woof Gang based on the reviews here. I don’t believe anyone actually went into this same store. We were barely acknowledged, were given no help and will NEVER go back here. We spent almost $200 on dog food for our pups, but if it wasn’t so hard to get that food we would not have bought a thing. We had such a wonderful Hollywood Feed store near our old house and we were hoping this place would come close, but PetSmart or Petco both have 10x better customer service than this place.If you can find somewhere else to buy your dog food, do it. This person doesn’t deserve your business.

Overcharged during visit for less services than discussed and for a different size (larger dog). Disappointing as there was no one that could accurately explain the pricing. The cashier, myself and one of the groomers were looking over the price list and no one could successfully understand how the groomer that did the work came up with the price. The sad thing is from the price list it appeared that I was being overcharged by only 5 or 10 dollars and a easy fix would have been sorry for the miscommunication, here’s 5 dollars off your next visit or hey here’s a couple treats.

They were super nice, pet friendly. They were very helpful and it was a very nice atmosphere. The dogs loved to be there and live the treats we bought for them. It is a little expensive but worth it for the homemade treats!

I love taking my Paxton to Woof Gang. Erskine and the entire staff of people here are great! They do a wonderful job with grooming and answering any questions I may have. Also love that I am supporting a local business.

There's some old dog just walking around the store no leash. Would have been fine if he would have stopped following my dog sniffing his butt the entire time. He was so uncomfortable that i had to carry him, and he's 32 lbs.
