Unleashed is the BEST pet store in Wilmington! My wife and I go to both the one in Landfall and Downtown Wilmington to get all of our dog food, treats, supplements, etc. The staff is always incredibly sweet and helpful. Highly recommend!

I went to Unleashed for the first time and I was greeted by Sami and she asked if there was anything she could help me with. I told her about my 2 dogs and what they were currently eating and she suggested Logic. What a game changer!! Their weight has improved significantly and even their coats shine! She even told me about healthier treat choices. She is so knowledgeable about all the products that Unleashed carries and when I asked questions about some of the products, she didn't hesitate at all with an answer. I am a repeat customer for sure! Thank you.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I went for the first time today. I had no idea there was any other pet shops in Wilmington, other than Petco, Petsmart and pet supplies. So when I found out that there was another one, and it was a small business, I knew I had to go check it out! The prices are AMAZING! I got a whole entire bag filled with bones for only 40$ and the amount of bones I got would've cost around 150$ At Petsmart or Petco! And the best part is they're educated!!!!! I only know this Because I got a few bones that looked like they may be rawhide(which is non-digestible) so I asked when I checked out if they were rawhide and the employee upfront said no it's not rawhide because we don't sell it because it's non-digestible. To me this is absolutely awesome. Every single one of the bones/treats/foods I seen were all high quality and had amazing ingredients, I did not see one thing that was bad for dogs. They even had primal goat milk which I have been trying to get for the past few months but couldn't find it in other pet stores and I didn't wanna order it. Most pet stores I've been to, sell products like Pedegree and rawhide just because they want profit. this store DOSENT Because they CARE about pets. It's kind of silly but when I left the store, I was in tears because I've never seen a store so educated that sold nothing but great things for dogs. I'm somebody who has studies dogs for years and to finally see a pet store that actually cares and is educated as much as I am means so much to me. But that's not the only great thing, a lot of stuff at Petco and Petsmart are over priced but this place I was shocked at the prices because of how cheap they were I was finding bones that were 6-1$ That are originally at Petsmart for 20$. This store will forever be my go to pet store now and I hope that they get more attention as they deserve it❤️

A Great team that is always very friendly and helpful is here. I always enjoy shopping here and feel comfortable taking my dogs here.I love the wide selection of frozen raw foods, freeze dried or dehydrated foods, treats and many other things. They have a huge selection of Lupine products as well as many other dog gear companies and tons of cool toys, etc. They have almost everything!

Rachel and Sami were amazing. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I asked many questions and they were very informative and patient with me. My dog made a big mess at home so I was very stressed walking in but because of their immaculate customer service I left happy and didn’t even care about spending money on a new dog cage. Rachel even carried it to my car, it was the XXL one. Those girls need a bonus. Thanks guys.

Best boutique pet store in Wilmington. We buy our dog food and all of our treats here. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. Love the loyalty program they offer - buy 12 bags of dog food and get one free. As expensive as the dog food is, it is nice getting this perk every once in a while. We know everything that they offer will be great quality and good for our fur babies!

Absolutely the best and most informative stop at a pet shop. Fantastic staff, knowledgeable people and a local to NC business that offers truly healthy alternatives to canned and kibbled pet food. My young orange tabby Mr Macaroni is nuts for the freeze-dried minnows I attach to twine, best treat recommendation ever! Thank you for the free kitten meal & catnip! 10 star customer service.

The staff make this place more amazing with the knowledge they have on all their products. They always have what I need and when my pets need something new they have the answer. I’ve been using unleashed for my two current pups and my pup I had before these two! They love everything I get from here. Super large selection of everything dogs and cats. Highly recommend over the big box stores.

Great independent pet store. Staff is always helpful and very pleasant. I've been a customer of unleashed in several locations and it's always a great experience. A ton of puppy supplies and some feline as well. It would be nice if they were able to expand their feline collection.

Let me say that until today I would have given Unleashed a good review, possibly 5 stars. I like shopping at smaller stores which support more local business. I have spent many dollars in the store for both my cats, and many MANY dollars for my new dog. The catch is that I never had an issue with any of their products. That is until yesterday, when I bought an Orbee Tug toy which lasted exactly 1 hour before it tore. I checked my receipt for the Unleashed return policy which states “100% Satisfaction guaranteed. Returns with a receipt accepted within 60 days of purchase”. When I went to the store I was told that Orbee doesn’t accept returns so Unleashed would not refund my money. The employee offered to help me find a better quality toy for me to buy. So buyer beware. I will not be shopping at Unleashed again.

I buy kitty food from them every week. They have the best and healthiest selection of foods and pet accessories. They do their homework on pet nutrition; most of what they sell I am comfortable buying and I do research extensively of what I feed my kitty with. Great return policy, great company!

I just got my little toy poodle recently and I went in today. The girls in there a super sweet and helpful. My puppy wasn't eating the dry food the breeder suggested, one of the girl fave me a sample of some of there dry food and, I gave him one piece and he loved it.

The Staff make this store! They are very helpful and knowledgeable. The prices are higher than the big box stores but it is worth it to support a local business and get great service. Oh by the way if you ever buy anything from there that your pet doesn't like, they will return it. Helps take the stress out of trying new things.

We miss this place so much. The girls here are sweethearts and are on top of their product daily. Need a special order? They'll do it. Have a dietary restriction for your pet? They'll educate you. As I said, we miss the store, the people and the hospitality.

I absolutely LOVE the self bathing room. They provide everything you need to bathe your dog. A huge supply of shampoos, as well as a blower to dry your dog. The store has high quality pet products.

Every member of the staff is SO friendly and knowledgeable! They have great suggestions for alternative foods, treats, etc. I foster a giant breed dog and they are well aware of the risks associated with the breed, and have offered me food, treat, and toy advise based on those risks. The store also has a great selection of collars, leads, leashes, and toys. There is also a self service bath with all the fixins!

Oh man I stop here on impulse sometimes. They sell all kinds of neat dog toys. Nice leaches and collars. They have this treat table though, where you can soup the dog treats you want and its sold by the container. My dog loves them. They even have some different jerky treats...fish jerky. Never seen that before, im sure the dogs love them.

Amazing little shop. Focuses on dogs, however carries some cat products too. Everything they carry they use or would use with their own pets, and are cheaper or on point with the big chains and online. I recommend them to everyone I know.
