I have been bringing my anxious rat terrier mix here for over 2 years now, and now our puppy. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Foca and the whole staff! Anytime I’ve called and needed to get in soon, they will do their best to find something that works with your schedule. Their prices seem very fair. I haven’t had an experience where I felt they tried to upcharge on things my dogs may not need. They all care about your pets as you do. They are professional, kind, and take the time to explain anything you have questions about. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a new vet!

Wonder staff, very friendly. Super clean place. Dr. Foca and Ryan were the absolute best ❤️ Our sweet girl, Ms. Cheese had two mammary tumors removed. They got is in for a consult the day we called and did her surgery 2 days later. I will be taking all of my animals here from now on!!!

I absolutely love Wendell Animal Hospital. Dr. Foca and her entire team, Samantha, Ryan, Hector, Jen & Taylor are genuinely the kindest group of people & they are all very passionate & knowledgeable about animals. Tully has been going there since I brought her home over a year ago and has always received the best care!

We brought our dogs in Friday because they were both sick. The doctor was so sweet and personable. Ryan, the vet tech, was a pleasure to work with and also very knowledgeable.Wendell animal hospital is nothing like any other vet. They truly care about our dogs and not trying to gouge out pockets. We are so Thankful for them!!

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Very clean and inviting atmosphere. One of my dogs was a bit anxious. The vet and nurse were understanding and worked to relax her during treatment. I highly recommend. 🐾❤️

I can’t say enough amazing things about Wendell Animal hospital. I drive 30 minutes from Raleigh to come here for exotic care. Their prices are great, their quality pet care is even greater. I love my fur babies like my children and everyone here has that same view of fur babies. Guinea pigs have very unique needs and they are always so attentive and caring toward my sweet fur babies. One of my piggies passed away last year and they did everything to try to make her better and sent the sweetest card after. I tell all my friends exotic and non exotic to come here!

Dr.Foca and her staff are amazing! The first time I went to Wendell Animal Hospital, I brought in a very sick young chicken, and staff was so professional and treated my sick Betty like any other pet. I also have 2 GIANT dogs who are not so easy to examine(putting it lightly.. 😆) and very anxious and fearful. The staff treats them both with respect and understanding, not rushing through procedures and making sure that they are as relaxed as much as possible.. They even gave my Ella girl squeeze cheese on a stick to help her calm down and enjoy a snack! 🤗🤗 I highly recommend Wendell Animal Hospital for your pets needs! They also will see chickens, and pigs!! Which is a bonus! (Pictures just for fun of some of our babies!! ❤️)

They do a great job. Or little dog has had two recurring problems. Intermittent vomiting since he was a pup, and recent coughing. Dr. Foca solved the first with a diet change (after a CT scan to make sure there wasn't a physical problem), and the most recent with an X-ray and pills. Services aren't cheap, but the treatment is effective. We had consulted 2 or 3 vets about the vomiting which persisted over the years.

This vet is amazing and very knowledgeable. It reminds me of a pediatrician's office that you get to take your baby too. There is a waiting room and nice rooms you go in with your fur baby while the doctor examines them. You get to stay with your pet the whole time. Also, it is reasonably priced and the online portal is so nice for ordering more medicine.

Excellent Vet office. This is the third one I've taken my dog to, and even though I have to drive from Raleigh, I feel that my boy gets the best care here. They are the best!

I knew when a human answered the phone that this was going to be a good experience. I do wish I'd found this practice years ago, but after being referred by NCSU exotics, I got an appointment quickly (I'm over an hour away). Staff is awesome, no wait, fantastic facility, clean, bright and they actually care. Not the typical revolving door, give us all your money and get out practice. So happy that my boys now have a great place for their medical needs. Eddie approved this review.

They are easy to work with and always take care of my dog with the best care they can. Best spot to go in and or around the area. Their attentiveness to listen to what I have to say and then preform their test after is amazing! They make you feel seen and heard.I love Wendell Animal Hospital!

Dr. Foca and her staff are wonderful. Wendell Animal Hospital provides primary care for my 2 puppy girls, as well as emergency boo-boo care. The prices are very fair, scheduling is easy, and the follow up messages are so considerate. Herby and Rosie are big fans of WAH, Dr. Foca, and her fantastic staff.

I loved my experience at the Wendell Animal Hospital. I was able to schedule (reschedule, when we were sick) and then receive another appointment less than 3 weeks later. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating as I had a large dog and a young baby strapped to my body during the whole visit. My dog has a lot of energy and the nurse was able to give him enough attention while I tended to my baby and that really meant a lot. I loved the vet and his guidance was sound and friendly. I will definitely come back. They're a great business to support for pet owners in the area.

Unfortunately, we had to put our Quijo down. Dr. McIntyre was compassionate and professional. Gave us time to say our last words. The staff was great too and accommodated us right before closing time.

I recently took my dog Ellie who was having some issues on two of her feet. She is a lab and it gave me a little worry. The vet that I saw and the vet tech, were super nice, Ellie warmed right up to both. They took samples, I got antibiotics and I have to do some warm compresses, (which has been super fun, lol) but this vet was really great. They even texted me (my preferred method of communication) the next day to check on that little scamp. Can you image how above and beyond They go if had been something really bad. Give these great folks a try.

My Yorkie, Sami, received the best of care for previous dental surgery. Every interaction with staff, from the front desk, Samantha, Hector, and Dr Foca was friendly and professional. Dr Foca texted me several times during the visit to inform me of lab results and how Sami was doing. I even received a text the next day from Ryan checking on how Sami was doing. They all were very caring making it a very pleasant experience. Thank you!🐾

Our dog, Callie recently had a wonderful 'manicure' at WAH. The staff was wonderful as Callie was extremely anxious. She has become more prone to anxiety as she is now over 10. Just as when, back in April, she had to have a small (luckily benign) mass removed, we could not have been more pleased with the treatment she received. Thank you all very much!!

Dr Kim truly likes my dog and entire staff is very professional and caring. My big sweet dog had a stick imbeddded in gums. They took great care of him and called to check on him. I am truly pleased to have her as my vet!

Great, compassionate vet team! Knowing that vet visits can be anxious times for pets and pet parents, when you arrive, they get you back to a room quickly and get you out just as quickly. The office and exam rooms are kept clean. They have a coffee bar in the lobby. Awesome care, friendly, and convenient!

Great vet! I have a green cheek conure and not every vet is knowledgeable and able to take proper care of them. I have every confidence in Wendell Animal Hospital!
