The sushi was quite good but I would really love it if Food Lion had chopsticks and pickled ginger. A lovely Asian woman helped us and we watched her roll sushi like a pro. I have rolled my own before and it is really quite difficult. The friend I was with picked a big serving of the California rolls and some Teriyaki chicken that was excellent. My cashier was super friendly too but come to think of it I don't know if I have ever had a bad experience at Food Lion. Oh, I love their ready made Cobb salad. Highly recommended!

This a great store with plenty of fresh selections! From the produce section, to meat- to health and beauty they’ve got it all. I can usually find any brand that I’m searching for when I shop here.Staff is always helpful and ask if I’m seeking anything if I’m wandering down an aisle. They also give a friendly hello -just because -as they stock shelves.This location is really convenient and in the center of town approximately. It’s only a short distance from the waterfront (1.5 ish miles) if you’ve come in by boat and are looking to provision. Reasonable distance if you’re on a bicycle to get to the store and back.Their prices are great, and we’re able to fill our cart without breaking the piggy bank. We definitely recommend this Food Lion grocery store!

I prefer this Food Lion above the others. They usually have more of what I want in stock. Very nice employees. They are very good about finding you want you need.

This Food Lion is by far the best one I’ve been in since living in NC. They have a sushi station, hot bar, olive bar, and a very nice sun-zero produce department! Bring your sweater, it’s cold in there! They have a nice selection of meat and seafood as well!Keep up the good work!

They remodeled so it takes some getting use to. The workers are friendly and helpful ( most of them). Produce is always fresh I usually go early in the morning so I get in and out. It's always a good experience shopping there

Went here instead of wallmart so I would not have to check myself out!! And went to checkout out 903 pm!! Not 1 cashier! We don't work at food lion have some cashiers working anytime your store is open! Some older people have a hard time doing this themselves

This is a clean store with wide aisles and fresh produce. I like the produce room. Makes me want to eat my veggies. Better than most other food lions. At the time of this update the deli section is closed for renovation. Which will be worth it.

Well shame on me. I did go back under the hopes that Food Lion had corrected the root problem of their terrible service one month ago. The results, a greater than 30 minute wait from placing my arrival call.Give it up Food Lion. You don't know what you are doing with Food to Go order pickups. Don't offer it until you thoroughly understand how Harris Teeter in Greenville never messes up like this.Original review 1 month ago...Do not shop at this Food Lion. I've been a regular shopper using their online shopping service.I'm sitting here waiting for my order. 30 minutes. I was 1st to arrive and last to get my order.Let them close it down.

Favorite grocery store ever. I love food lion and especially this location. Employees are always so kind and helpful. If I ever have a problem with something, as well, they are always quick to help me best they can.

I delivered a load to this location. I was in a LONGGG line. Cashier 0128 at 14:37 hrs was walking around plucking people waiting who only had a few items.I only had 3. She walked me in to customer service and checked me out.That's what's motivated me to do the survey and leave a review.I shop at Food Lion all the time. Their Nature's Promise Organic brand is great a value on many items.

Overall, a good grocery store. Shelves not always stocked fully, especially with sale items, but that may just behow it is now. Cashiers are very polite and bag light weight when I request. I am impressed with how helpful the employees are. If I ask where something is, they usually take me to the location. When I ask someone stocking shelves to reach a top shelf item, they always do without appearing annoyed.

Update 3/3/24At self checkout close to an employee and she still stood over me as if I was stealing or needed to steal saddest thing is that they’re doing this to people of color and even sadder that it’s more white people who steal from the store than anything yall need to stop it’s going to get someone hurt and this is my last straw I’m calling corporate early in the morningUPDATE 7/16/23EVEN MORE RACIST ESPECIALLY THE MEAT DEPARTMENTRacist as hell only but a few white employees acknowledge you and that's because I know them outside of grocery shopping. You can present identification one day to a cashier return the next day get asked for same identification. I explained to my family that we'll no longer shop at food lion and continue to spread the word rather take my chances at Wal-Mart we're everyone is welcome. They either moved or got rid of the vast majority of black employees at this location anyways some quit do to lack of promotion because of color I've spoken to several Ms Beverly and Andre and another young man who chooses to drive a ice cream truck than remain a cashier. If it's NOT food pride or Wal-Mart than I'll be going to Greenville to Harris Teeter they have better sales anyways

The store was clean, and fully stocked.They had 5 cashier opened but their lines were very long .Have to try them again to see if it's like that always. All in all I would shop with them again.

Here's the deal. The cashiers are the best. Friendly, do their job, great. But two disappointing encounters with the men in produce and meat.1. Went to meat department where there was a great sale. I could not find anything. Asked the meat guy. He said, we're out. So why is the sign still up? He said something about more coming in blah blah blah get a rain check. When I went up to the cashiers they said, "We don't give out rain checks." ????!!!!!2. Went there yesterday to buy a watermelon. I asked the guy in PRODUCE if he was good at picking out watermelon. He just grunted something to the effect, I dunno know, and walked away. Huh!?So, IDK too. I am less and less impressed with the goofballs in their departments and think they maybe need to do some switching around and get those lazy dudes out of the back and upfront where someone can babysit them and teach them the ropes.

They have the best boneless BBQ wings and their service is really great Foods fresh so far I haven't been able to beat the store although I wish their prices on some things were a little bit lower but they usually have good buys always keep an eye out for their Flyers

Expensive and some of the shelves are empty. Only place in town, besides Walmart, to buy groceries. They have put in self serve stations. Other than that it's pretty much the same.

I always leave this store lacking something I really need. Yesterday it was 2% milk and vanilla ice cream. Last week it was coffee creamer and ground chuck… I asked About the ground chuck but was told he didn’t have time to get to it right then. On the positive side the store is very clean.
