Dollar General is a great store . If you haven't been there in a while you should really check it out. They have so much of a bigger selection of things from kitchen to bathroom, bedrooms, living room every room in the house and cleaning supplies, make up , hair care products and a good selection of foods and brinks. Even pet supplies. It want be a waste of your time to visit Dollar General today.

This store is or seems smaller than most. Two carts going opposite directions in an aisle will have difficulty. The last time I shopped at this store, there was no one to ring up the sale. The one employee on duty had fallen and hit her head; an ambulance was on its way (contacted by a shopper). Family Dollar, which is a short walk from this store, has a strict rule against lone workers. If 2 employees are scheduled and one doesn't show up, they close the store.

Wow I went into the store today the store a mess. The old staff isn't there anymore. Cashier sitting behind the counter. 1 guy in back store doing nothing on his phone 1 lady trying to stock shelf

Some of the workers there are kinda rude & I feel like some of them are only there to follow the customers around. I know it's because they have been robbed so many times but they make it so obvious that they following people around. To me that's just rude. Also they don't allow medium to large size pursues inside the store either so ladies be prepared for some attitude & rudeness if you plan on walking in with a purse.

5 stars for the friendly workers and items. We go here at least once or twice a week. Very convenient being that it’s just down the road from us. I would however suggest that they move to a bigger location being that they seem cramped!!

I love DG especially for cleaning supplies. But why do the aisles have to be so crowded with displays. Not handicap accessible at all. I would love to take my mom more often but hard to do with a wheelchair.

For quick pick ups they have it all @ low prices and the store isn't huge so you can get in and out fast. Sometimes a little cluttered probably because they could use extra help.

Love this store .. everyone is friendly only one complaint ive been in there 4 different times in 2 weeks to purchase one specific item.. manager knows this and she does nothing but answer me and giggle! I wouldn’t complain but enough is enough.. ive been shopping at this store for 6+ yrs.. get it together

Five Star Plus rating retail store always have great prices pick customer service find things I never think about finding in there. It's not what I'm looking for in there I'll definitely going back and shopping in here

Dollar General is everywhere, going places even Walmart doesn't bother with serving. I love the concept: the app, the digital coupons, the sales fliers on-line. The stores vary so much due to what I can only assume is local management. This particular store always seems to be out of items, with large floating carts blocking the narrow aisles. Personally, I would only recommend this particular location if you need clothing items. The store on Hwy 66 and the one in close by Walkertown are both neater and do not have the chaos of boxes of merchandise on the sales floor. Since I have never seen more than three employees in the store, why not stage the stock in the back and pull out one floating cart as you can get to it? I am amazed the district manager allows this, but it is in the center of an area that has a lot of pedestrian traffic, so maybe it is a high volume store. I go there to get some candies my kids like and some products that are hard to find like L.A.Awesome, which is great on laundry stains. They also can have basic craft items for super cheap if you are doing a classroom project. I would have rated it higher, but I've seen other DG that don't have such chaos weekly.

The workers are very nice and helpful but it is an old store and so crowded that you are constantly running into shelves and there is too much stuff laying everywhere.

You will not go to this one again that's on 311 in Winston-Salem North Carolina only because they had stock everywhere and it was hard for me to find what I was looking for then after I found that they built still didn't have it in stock because it's probably still on the floor still in boxes and not put up on the shelf I'm pretty sure they got to be hiring cuz they need help badly😬😔🤬🤐

I like DG but it does look like DG HQ would allow more employees to keep the store in order. The employees are working like slaves trying to keep up the pace. Obvious shorthanded.
