Recently went in here on the way home from a day out in the Uwharries. It is a place I’ve always wanted to stop in and check out but my schedule and timing didn’t allow. I’m glad I stopped this past weekend. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed and valued. As I was browsing the store for a snack to hold me over for a few hours until I got home, I noticed their grill. As I was looking at the menu I noticed them preparing a handmade stuffed crust pizza. I had no intention of getting anything this big but I could not resist. Come to find out, this is a new style pizza they will be offering and were practicing making this delicious creation. I’ve traveled all over the country and have experienced many amazing culinary creations at smaller off the beaten path establishments. The gentleman made a recommendation to try it with their ranch dressing. It can be hit or miss when it comes to ranch dressing but I struck gold when I dipped the hot stuffed crust pizza into the cool, creamy buttermilk ranch. I literally pulled over to enjoy this amazing snack. Actually sat on the side of the road and ate half the pizza. I will certainly make this a stop when I come through. Highly recommend as the staff is authentic and genuinely values its customers.

Pretty cool outpost. It reminded me of the Sewee outpost in Awendaw SC just outside the Francis Marion National Forest. They have a decent number of outdoor items. Jack's for off roading. Tons of food, fishing gear, bumper stickers. Some shirts and hats. I was greatful they had boiled peanuts. Will definitely be back by in the future.

I love this place. Has a wide variety of camping supplies, snacks, hot food, and regular gas station stuff. Overall they are the perfect store in the perfect location.

We loved stopping here for a fried chicken lunch and jut hanging out a while. This is a great resupply spot. They have a ton of outdoor gear. The fried chicken and potato wedges were great. If you are exploring around Uwharrie you need to stop here.

Everyone has to stop in at sometime to get trail passes. The store has a little of anything you might need for a short stay weather hiking, horseback riding, fishing, or hitting the ORV trails. They also have hot food cooked to order.

This place surprisingly has some of the best pizza and ranch I’ve had in along time. We got them to bake a whole so it’s super fresh. Lots of different options of food to choose from after a long day of riding. Bathrooms are well stocked and clean. We will return for sure.

Found this little gem as we was out on an adventure today. Very unique store! Everything from high rise jacks for trucks and jeeps to gas station food cheese sticks are great. Its really cheese bread but man at the cheese on it. They have T-shirts to camping and even gold mining equipment!! Oh and fishing poles and tackle. Really should check them out if you are out that away.

Fun little bait shop/convenience store that we like to stop at when we are in the area! Great kitchen food; bathrooms are usually pretty clean; fair prices; food, snacks, and drinks for everyone; lots of camping, fishing, panning, and even hunting supplies! Staff is always fun to interact with, too.

They have everything. Gas station, gas station food, gold panning equipment, souvenirs, live bait, camping gear, ice cream and treats, everything you need for your outdoor adventures in Uwharrie. In fact, just go and people watch some weekend. The folks that visit comprise the same curious cross-section reflected in the inventory. And in the best way.

The food is good and the employees are nice and let us run in real quick for drinks right before they closed. But breakfast can be chaotic, they didn’t follow the normal number order and ended up giving out ten meals after our number without ever doing our order or the person immediately after us. The woman behind the counter didn’t even start our order until we went to the counter and asked her if they were making it. We ended up waiting 30 minutes for a BLT, a fried bologna sandwich and an egg and chicken toast sandwich.

5 stars all around, except for the prices are a tad higher than the surrounding businesses. This, however, is just the nature of the beast anywhere you go that has a high, or slightly higher, gathering. Has a lot of different products and the hot bar is good. Pretty much everything you need for hiking/camping/crawling.

Absolutely fantastic gas station. All of the staff is friendly, and they serve the offroad/overland communities well! Plenty of camping/offroad parts, hardware, great food and a very nice line of clothing. I try to buy a shirt or hat everytime I go!

Not as good as it used to be. The food is still good and the place is well stocked, but the staff is in no way nearly as friendly as before. Today I ordered the fried chicken, 2 breasts and a leg. They gave me 2 breasts and a wing. When I realized it I went back to the counter to get the order corrected. The lady said I wrote down 2 breasts and a wing because that’s what you asked for. I told her that I asked for a leg. She then said, “well whatever, I can’t take the wing back now” and she gave me the skinniest leg they had. A simple I’m sorry I must have misunderstood would have gone so much farther. I’m not sure I will be going back there anymore. I liked it much better before it changed ownership.

The perfect gathering spot for staging a trail ride at Uwharrie. Food is served inside and is good for what it is. Tenderloin and gravy is the Jeep breakfast of champions. Gas is cheap. Supplies are abundant. They also sell OHV passes and provide free 24 hour air hoses in the parking lot. To top it all off, there's free wifi and you are close enough to Dickey Bell to check in for the Jeep Badge of honor.

This is a much welcomed Oasis in the middle of nowhere! They have anything and everything you could possibly want or need in Uwharrie. Forgot a phone charger? No problem. They have them at reasonable prices. Need some warm comfort food that you didn't cook on a campfire? They have that. Need an indoor restroom? They have that. Need fishing gear or bait? They have that. Need to hear some comforting music by a super cute grandpa with a even cuter scratchy voice? They have that too!

I love this little shop. It's a one stop shop if you are playing outdoors. The food they cook is delicious! So don't go in hungry 😉 I only give it 4 stars because hours can be tricky, not every staff member is as nice as the others (some are super helpful especially if you are new to the area), and pricing on some things is really high while some items are very reasonable. All in all when you are out in Uwharrie, this is definitely a place to know about.

Easy to get a URE day pass here and the outpost was like a mini REI. Great place to pressure down your tires before hitting the trails and fill back up after. And grab a cold drink or icecream of course.
