Make sure you check the prices they charge you! Just bought Dr Pepper that was marked at 2 for $9 and they rang up at $6 each. I recently read an article saying Dollar General was charging more at the register than items were marked at and was surprised to see it for myself the very next time I went. The unfriendly manager was obviously upset that she had to correct the problem and never made eye contact or apologize for the error, instead made me wait while she checked the price for herself because obviously customers can’t be trusted.

I am very impressed with the size of this Dollar General and with how well organized they are. With fresh produce available unlike other dollar generals in the area, a fabulous selection of cold and frozen food and beverage items, and the very well stocked items of a typical dollar general, this store has not only impressed me and has a customer for as long I am living here, but I am considering putting in a job application. I believe starting pay is $11/hour? Trenton is very rural and lower in population than most areas but the availability of the stock they have will bring folks from out of town for sure. Keep up the good work y’all and welcome to Trenton!
