My breakfast was greasy. The hash browns were from freezer at a discount grocery store. The cook deep fried the hash browns to a solid mass of burnt potato. The side order of ham was some pressed deli meat burnt from a grill. Eating from the lowest quality disposable plates and flat ware is not for me. My photo shows a fall hazard at entrance. They need to install a railing.

Service was a bit slow when not ordering ahead and they missed an item i ordered so had to wait a little longer for it to be done. Bbq sandwich was not too great but wasn’t bad, asked for it plain with just bbq and ended up just being pulled pork with no bbq so that was also something we had to grab while waiting for our missed ordered item (just fries) but it was fairly tender… the only highlight was the fried catfish… I will be back just for the catfish. It was very good. It was not greasy, the batter tasted great, and it was cooked to perfection. I recommend the catfish all day long. Best I’ve had in the area.

Today was my first visit for pickup.Unfortunately, the grease my food was cooked in was rancid. The bacon was good though. The rest of my food tasted like rancid grease and smelled strongly of it. I'm not rich so it's disappointing that I wasted $14 on food that was almost inedible. Managed to eat about 1/3 & threw the rest away.'ll give it one more chance but the grease needs to be changed if you want your food to taste good.

I walked in. There were 2 customers eating me being the only one ordering order to two french toast and hash browns took other people came in and ordered one an omelette the second one scrambled eggs and bacon they all received their breakfast before I got my two french toast when I asked the woman where is my French toast she asked me if I wanted it deep fried I think they forgot my order however it was not taken care of I waited another 10 minutes and then finally stood up and demanded my money back not recommended at all

EL GRILL in supply which was called Sonya's Grill....IT TOTALLY SUCKS!!! Everything thing the FOOD and THE SERVICE. I was overlooked and my food was NEVER CALLED OUT just LEFT to the side and one of the workers in the kitchen wiped her mouth & nose with the same gloves she continue to fix food in. Stopping through from out of state. Everything was great minus a “misunderstanding” with cashier. The black board had crab cakes listed under sandwiches. Which I thought was cool because we don’t have that back home. I inquired about the size of sandwich and decided it was too small for my husband and I. She then suggested the cat fish as a sandwich. Which I asked for clarification to make sure I heard correctly that it was indeed a sandwich with no bones. she said yes even talked me into upsizing to a platter instead. After getting my platter with sides and realizing there was no bread I asked for bread and Instead of just giving me two small slices of bread that would’ve been 1.99 at the most for an entire loaf at the grocery store and admitting the small mistake, cashier didn’t seem to remember talking about a sandwich, straight lied about the initial interaction and insisted I pay for the bread being added. In GA where I’m from, the catfish plates automatically come with some type of bread, whether it a roll or just a slice of bread. Not sure where the mix up was but was very clear when I said I wanted a sandwich.

Sonja's Grill is cozy and welcoming. The menu is chalked on the wall as you enter. There are also paper menus you can look over. Order at the counter where you pay. They accept cash and credit cards. There is a large condiment station against one wall. The food was good. It came quickly. There are individual desserts for sale on the counter. This is a breakfast and lunch restaurant, but it's also open on Friday nights.

Absolutely the best food!! It is the only place around that still has foot long hot dogs I love it !! Great friendly staff fast to get your food just a all round 5 stars really would like to try out the new Friday night menu soon

Great place to stop and eat. It may look small but it's worth the stop. I had the crab cakes and it was bomb!!! The fried mushrooms were nice and crispy on the outside, but juicy on the inside. Hush puppies were good also and the slaw was good tasting. Nice selection of food and good prices. Definitely give it a try.

This was my first time eating here and it was pretty good. I got a cheeseburger and onion rings. The cheeseburger was good, but it was a little overcooked and dry. The onion rings were very good.They have a pretty good size menu (variety) and the prices are very reasonable!I will DEFINITELY be returning in the future!Features: No covid restrictions are in place right now.
